Came in last minute to the deli to get sandwiches for an event. Mimi was fabulous and so willing to help. She exudes customer service! Very friendly and made about 8 large sandwiches quickly and cut them for me as well. All with a smile

I’m not sure where to leave this review but hopefully Kroger corporate sees this. To the first representative I had on the phone today, you are awful. I hope you learn some better ways to talk to people’s spouses and to allow them to ask questions without disrupting and having an attitude. To Hannah the supervisor I got when I called back (the rep wouldn’t transfer me to a manger) you were lovely. Thank you so much for actually hearing my concerns, I honestly didn’t care about points after the way I was treated the first phone call and just didn’t want someone else to have a mental breakdown like I was. But you went ahead and fixed it and descaled the issue. I am also so happy that I got a warm transfer. The call center I worked for used cold transfers and it was awful. But you did a great job. Thank you for hearing me and fixing the issue. Love Hannah!!

I have shoped Krogers for 40+ years. For 7 years at Brownsboro. I HAVE SPENT a avarage of 195.00 a week. One return attempt in 40 years. This is the only Krogers I get a in your face attitude from some newer younger employees of yours. Whats up with this? It's to bad because you have some outstanding personable employees at Brownsboro, Louisville.

This visit was an i instacart shop and deliver. It was quite the experience in 2 years at instacart. It wasn't the store, it wasn't the customer, I don't think it was me, it was that all or most of the items or unusual grocery items and believe it or not 10 of them or unavailable. That is an unusual number especially on items that aren't on your usual shopping grocery list. Things like goat's milk, MUSH - ready to eat oats, cheese covered pretzels of some type I've never heard of, and I can't remember the others but they were just as unusual and if you say they were usual you are unusual. And you wouldn't be unusual if you said that they were unusual you'd just be usually unusual LOL it took me two and a half hours to pick 33 items for One customer and my other customer had three items and they canceled 5 minutes before I finished. That cost me about 15 bucks. Was I mad? Nope, I was too exhausted and discombobulated to be mad I was giddy LOL such as I am probably right now and we shouldn't be driving because I'm laughing so hard I can't even think, and I think a lot. I also talk a lot, like I am right now but all the help that the associates extended to me this day was exceptionally unusual. That's my word for today "unusual". The entire day was unusual from the time I got up I felt it, I didn't really think about it though and it's still ended up being unusual. But Kroger received five stars and, annnnd, an unusual grade A 100%, all the cross the board up the alley and down the road commendation for the super helpful attitude of most, I say most because there was one that was not although helpful was a little perturbed that one was, press because I asked two questions in our part LOL but perhaps due to the overwhelming job that he was doing efficiently probably feeling like me wishing the debacle was over. Great job to everyone, including the customer for their communication, for my car performing up to par, and to me for refraining from acting like Yosemite Sam and jumping up and down screaming "WHYYYY YOOUUUU risafrackin everlovinsmackin rootin tootin varmint!" and shooting my pistols off at the ground so I can fly up into the air repeating the expletives LOL

Today I had a negative experience while using a self-checkout system at this store. I was yelled at by an angry store assistant for using a hand scanner during the checkout process. The assistant claimed that using the hand scanner would lead to mixed-up prices. However, I finds this claim puzzling because, based on my experience as a software professional, both scanning items at the self-checkout machine and using a hand scanner should ideally produce the same results and there were no notices about Kroger policies about uses of hand scanner.I am thus compelled to pose the following question to Kroger: why is the hand scanner tool provided if its utilization may ostensibly lead to complications? In my personal experience, using the hand scanner has proven to be a more convenient and efficient means of self-checkout compared to manually scanning each item at the machine.I firmly believe that interactions with store assistants should be characterized by professionalism and courtesy. Regrettably, I must express my dissatisfaction with the store assistant's demeanor during this encounter, as it left me feeling disrespected and, to a certain extent, subjected to perceived bias. I trust that Kroger places a premium on fostering an inclusive and respectful shopping environment for all patrons and looks forward to a response that addresses these concerns.

I have been buying 4-5 birthday cakes here for over 20 years. Today when I picked up a cake I was so disappointed I bought another cake that wasn't what my son had asked for to use instead because I thought this cake might break my son's heart. First, I buy cakes because if I decorate a cake, it looks terrible. Well, this cake looks like I decorated it. Since the cake was the chocolate with chocolate icing my son wanted and I had already bought it, later in the evening after our party, my son had a small piece. Well, when we cut it, we found someone had obviously grabbed a cake already iced with white icing, threw some chocolate on top and passed it off for what I had ordered (with a 5 day notice) at full price. The cake was dry, way over-iced, tastes old, and looks terrible. We looked closer & in some places you can even see the white icing showing through. My son is a senior in high school and today is his 18th birthday. This cake was another disappointment in an already disappointing year. I understand that the pandemic has probably caused a shortage in baking supplies and someone was probably just doing the best that he/she could, but come on. If I had been TOLD about the situation, it wouldn't have been the issue it turned out to be. With notice, I could have looked elsewhere in advance, or even today i would have been prepared and not so unpleasantly surprised. What's more, my son actually works at this Kroger. Those blue things are supposed to be balloons. Clearly chocolate over white icing. I won't be buying cakes here anymore.

Terrible customer service. I was supposed to have a pick up order ready at 8PM. My Kroger app was not allowing me to check in, so I called the number to check in. As they were looking for my order, I see on the app my order is cancelled. The pick up department employee tells me the system went down and must have cancelled my order. I was never notified of this cancellation. She tell me I can have $5 off my next order. (I don’t see $5 coupon anywhere?!?). I talk to “management”, employee didn't say her name, so I cant relay this to corporate. She tells me the system went down and that’s all. I still ask why I was not called or texted about my order being cancelled. No answer on that either. Sounds like laziness, lack of communication and customer care. Can’t wait for Publix to open soon!Also to add to my review after reading a few of the others. Kroger doesn’t respond to the reviews. Look at the newest reviews too… a lot are 1 stars.

We brought some items for return - clearly within the 30 day window stated on the Kroger website, with a clear, clean receipt. The woman behind the counter gave us an extremely hard time, about how the store would not get “credit.” Very unpleasant experience with an unpleasant woman. The return total was approximately $38. July 30 at 4pm. No one should come to this store.

Many locations makes it easy to find one. A good selection of products but sometimes the produce is not as fresh as it could be. Some products are difficult to find and not organized well in some departments.

I stood at the deli where you can buy the $7 chicken meals for about 15-20 minutes. Someone finally came over to ask if I needed help AFTER what I'm guessing was a manager walked by me, looked at me, and kept going. I said I would like 2 chicken tender meals please. The worker told me "The steamer tables are closed". I said "Oh, it's 6:00. What are the hours for your steamer tables to get meals"? She literally walked off. Terrible customer service! I just wanted the hours to know when I could come get the meals next time. Maybe there should be training on both the managerial and customer service level. It's been a while since I've seen that bad of customer service. Very disappointing!

One of the best Kroger’s in the area for selection and store layout/newness. Prices are kind of high though, they know they’re close to Norton Commons and definitely take advantage of it.

I had a pickup order scheduled for 8pm-9pm. I leave my home at 830pm to pick up my order. I go on the Kroger app and click on my way. As I’m pulling in the parking lot at 843pm they call me from the store to tell me that my order will not be ready tonight and I will have to pick it up the next day. I was so mad that they hadn’t contacted me prior that I went in to talk to the manager. He tells me my order was cancelled at 130 that day while being shopped. Well it couldn’t have been shipped or cancelled at 130 because the order wasn’t created until 147. Also I received an email at 844 that my order had been cancelled, which was 1 minute after they called me to tell me the order wasn’t ready. The manager also told me I was more than welcome to shop the isles for my own groceries but I just wasn’t getting my order. I tried to call customer service to speak with them and it took 5 phone calls before not getting hung up on to get someone to even listen. Horrible customer service all the way from local to corporate when it comes to Kroger.

This Krogers is always clean. The staff is always always always friendly. The store is clean and neat. It has been remodeled lately and the wine shop has been expanded. The folks in the deli and floral departments are very knowledgeable and ready to assists customers. I go probably 3 times a week. I have come to expect a great experience every time I walk in the door. THEY DELIVER!

We come here because my little one LOVES the race cars! What I especially appreciate is the staff will always go look for one when they aren’t at the front of store with a smile. The seafood department also season the fish perfectly. I drive out of my way to this location bc the staff is always so friendly and pleasant a rare quality today! Keep up the good work!

I’ve absolutely had it with Kroger. Let’s start with the rude and underpaid employees. To make matters worse closing most stores at 10pm on a Friday night is absurd. It was 10 minutes until closing when I walked in and the store associate almost didn’t let me in. He was trying to close early. The obnoxious “store closing soon” PAs every 5 minutes or so after 9:30pm are ridiculous. It’s also very distracting when I’m rushing to get through my grocery list.I can’t wait for the new Publix stores to open in Louisville. They might be more expensive, but the employees are always super friendly because they’re paid well and treated well by the company. Kroger just treats their store associates like a number. Publix also doesn’t make obnoxious store closing PAs either. If you need a few extra minutes they don’t threaten to kick you out like Kroger does.I’ll be taking my business to the new Publix stores when they open. Oh yeah, when you go to Publix don’t forget to stop by their amazing deli and order a delish Boars Head sub!! They’re incredible!! Publix….where shopping is a pleasure. Kroger…where shopping is hell. 💁🏻♂️

Good selections, great prices and easy checkout. BUT, Their emoyees never offer to help plus they are rude when you ask them where something is and don't care what you need,, they just want you to get out. They just don't stay open late enough either for their customers who work until 9:00 pm. Covid is over so they should at least stay open until 11:00 pm like Walmart or midnight like meijer. After closing at 10:00 pm their employees are out front sitting on the outdoor furniture they sell (smoking and vaping where a customer might buy it but be allergic or not want second hand smoke on new furniture in their home) or standing and looking at their phones at all hours of the night. Supposed to be stocking but they do that in the daytime too. It would be more accommodating for their customers if they were open later than 10:00 pm since their employees are getting paid to stand outside and do nothing.

grocery store under construction. it very hard to find the food in the aisles that usually make sense for them to be in.as I found myself lost, a member of management asked me if I needed assistance. He kindly walked me directly to the aisle. The cashier was nice too. she was telling me that the snow pea chips were really good.

Absolutely the worst Kroger I have ever had to shop! The only reason I go is because it is super close to where I live! This store is very large and updated so I cannot understand why they are constantly out of staple type items.....especially produce or the quality isn't good. I have shopped other Kroger stores for years and was always satisfied. Not only is it hard to find everything I need on most trips, but items are not arranged with logic or reason. Why can't someone get this one organized?
