My fur baby and I have had an excellent experience with our groomer at Hush Puppies. Reasonable prices and he is always done in two hours or less, as promised. We also love the holiday photos they post on line of all their fur clients.

Normally it's a pleasant experience, not that her cuts are perfect but the people are nice. Today was just a disappointment. Not only was her cut uneven as usual, today she had nicks in her fur. Didn't realize it until after I walked out. I just wish someone would have said something so I could be aware. Not a surprise. Just shocked! I have not heard the best about this business, but I wanted to have my own experience. Accidents happen, just let the customer know.

They are wonderful and very patient! They took extra special care with my elderly Shih-Tzu that was missing an eye and very squirmy. They always went out of their way to get her in and out very fast because of her age and took extra precautions because of her fragility. They were also so very kind to her.

They are great with my Husky. She was always a nightmare for me just to brush her hair. But after a few baths with them, she no longer fights me. She always comes back looking great. I can not thank them enough. Amazing people!

The ladies at Hushpuppies are angels. We are adopting a shy, insecure "mill mama" who was in desperate need of a bath and grooming. They opened up an appointment the same week we rescued her and were very gentle and mindful of her fears. They called/texted us every step of the way and did a great job without taking her out of her comfort zone. We would give 10 stars if possible. Thank you Hushpuppies!!!

I am devastated at my poor dogs haircut. He is uneven Everywhere! On top of it I asked for a trim not a summer cut. He already had his summer cut and it was growing back beautifully. It just needed to be touched up. I sent him to a groomer to get a touch up thinking they knew how to cut/trim for his breed. Here I am with an uneven, incorrect, unprofessional cut.He is clean, they trim his front nails. They were really nice. I hope the expressing and other things were done. I’m new to the city and had hoped I had found a place for my dog. I guess I gotta keep looking.

Attempted to call to get information for grooming my rescue and was belittled for my dog “never being groomed”. I take my dog every 2-3 weeks to feeders by myself to bathe, I cut his nails by myself, and I brush him by myself. All I wanted was to try to find some assistance as this is harder to do now pregnant. The lady that answered the phone was knowledgeable with services offered but not helpful for a first timer starting out with wanting to help her dog. There are breeds out there that have to be groomed and as a groomer you should understand and be a little more respectful to babies that didn’t choose to be a rescue. Even a trial run or a meet and greet. Sad excuse for a business.

I recently relocated to Louisville, KY and have had the toughest time finding a dog groomer for my senior Silky Terrier. Not only did they accept him as a new client, they were fast and reasonably priced. I dropped him off at 1030 and his services were completed by noon. The entire staff was friendly and knew exactly what I wanted, although I couldn't frame the description accurately and did not show them pictures. Ziggy is 13 years old and is no stranger to the grooming process, however, he isn't the most "beloved client". I was pleasantly surprised when they said he was well behaved and is welcomed back!! Just WOW!! They notified me that they would contact me via text to confirm his next appointment, and I assumed they would forget and I would have to call back; however, by the time I returned home, Ziggy's appointment was booked and I was notified via text. I recommend this Pet Salon for anyone looking for consistent, fast and reliable services who knows how to speak the language of their beloved furbaby. Ziggy is home, being cranky as usual, but is looking like a distinguished gentledog.

This salon came highly recommended by my best friend and they did not disappoint! I was told that the first few groomings they would not use clippers on my puppy since he was just getting use to the groomers. Well I was pleasantly surprised when I picked him up and they had shaved his face and feet just like the breeder had done before I picked him up! Highly recommend Hushpuppys!

Took my baby there today (chihuahua mix). Had a great experience, very friendly. My dog was well taken care of and came back fresh & clean. The lady up front even gave us a Christmas ornament with my dogs paw print just in case we didn’t see them before Christmas. Very kind and thoughtful! Only thing, they take cash only!

I never share this sorta thing nor am I a gossip, this time I will make an exception. I took my beautiful girl up to get the full package. What I got was a very tense girl back. Been few days now and still not back to her self. Her haircut looks very Terrible. I understand they ran a special, but that doesn't excuse doing a good job. I expressed she needed her toy while in a unfamiliar place while waiting to find out they never gave it to her. Will never repeat hush puppies name again after this. Being busy is absolutely no excuse!!

I called this morning to try to get an appointment tomorrow. Not only did they get me in today, my baby was only there for a few hours, getting a whole grooming and he looks so amazingly handsome. And he smells great! So very pleased with the services. We'll be back again!

I came across this groomer by accident when I saw their sign next to double dragon on Dixie highway. Thank goodness I remembered the name, because they have now moved back in the corner next to the subway and I might never have seen them.I have two dogs who must be groomed every 2 to 3 months. Every groomer I’ve used in the past has kept my dogs the entire day. I dropped my dogs off at 9:30 AM on Saturday morning and they were calling me at 11 AM to tell me my dogs were ready to be picked up.They looked great! I paid extra for whitening shampoo on my white dog and had their teeth brushed. I will definitely be using them again.

My first time at this groomers today. I had an appointment and they took my 1 year old Westie (Derby) right away. The amazing thing was it took 45 minutes to have my dog perfectly groomed at a great price. At other grooming places my dog was kept for 3-5 hours at more expensive prices. My dog was very happy and less stressful for the short visit. I will go back there again.

Trista is the best. I had an elderly furbaby that my last groomer of 7 years wouldn't groom anymore because of his age. So I had to find someone else.Trista was so kind,patient and gentle with my sweet Pepper. She never hesitated to take him on as a new client.I wouldn't take my furbabies to anyone else.

I LOVE them. They take such good care of Roscoe! He's not there all day either.... he's always so happy when I pick him up.. and he's always gorgeous! I wouldn't take him anywhere else. I'm there monthly... Roscoe matts easily.. they keep him beautiful. Excellent value also.

Not going here again, never recommending this place to anyone. I don't know how this place was well reviewed on I am Dixie HWY but it was a colossal mistake.My dogs fur was uneven all over, her fur was cut in a ridiculous way. She looks just awful. I now have to make another appointment, WITH A MUCH MORE REPUTABLE BUSINESSS, to fix this mistake and the travesty of her looks.Thanks hushpuppies for wasting my time and my money. I now see why you are cash only, I would definitely dispute this payment with my bank if I had the option. Never. Again.

My fur baby is very anxious and can't be dropped off somewhere. I was able to take him and they came to the lobby and trimmed his nails right there. The staff was really nice.

Trista donated her grooming time to help an LMAS shelter cat. I'm fostering a nursing mother with 6 day old kittens that had severely matted fur around her nipples. Trista was very gentle and took her time with the scared mama cat. Mama and babies are so much happier now! Thank you!
