Best ice cream around! Service is always fast and friendly -- they typically employ local high school and college students. Ice cream is great -- we're yet to find better tasting ice cream. Parking can be difficult depending on what day/time you're there, but there's typically a lot with space out back. We paid $13 for two double scoop cups.

This is easily my favorite ice cream place of all time. The birthday cake ice cream is so amazing with tremendous flavor; I’ve never had anything like it. The place is always booming, and I can certainly see why. The store is laid out nicely and there is a lot to choose from on the menu. They also sell to-go pints and other merchandise. I can’t wait to come back!

I have never been to an ice cream shop in which an expensive "one scoop" waffle cone meant the ice cream stopped at the very edge of the cone and not a single scoop of ice cream above the cone itself. Every other ice cream shop has a nice big scoop that goes above the waffle cone as well. Then on top of that issue, they tried to charge double for a waffle cone, which although, they refunded the incorrect amount, it wouldn't be an issue if the cashier asked or repeated the order to confirm what was being paid for instead of adding someone else's order (that was already paid for) to this, imagine if you happened to be speaking with a stranger and suddenly you get stuck with their ice cream bill due to cashier assumptions.

My review is mainly for whomever is in charge of getting repairs fixed in a timely manner... I've always liked Grater's Ice Cream. The Dark Chocolate Raspberry is a winner for sure! The employees working the evening shift the weekend before halloween displayed excellent customer service skills, despite their AC having as quoted "not been working for quite sometime". Makes me wonder how many days they've had to suffer at the price of what? Saving money, couldn't find a repairmen or were you on vacation & unaware or just didn't care? Most of the customers discussed how hot it was inside upon entry; I noticed but didn't say anything as they clearly were already aware at the time. Customers have the luxury of walking outside whereas your employees don't, except for break(s) & time off. How hot was it you ask? All of their chocolate candy sitting out on the counters in boxes were melted & the employees seemed zapped of energy... That brings employees moral down, not to mention a lot of wasted product when it could have been prevented... I hope the business owner values their employees enough to have the issue corrected by now.

Arrived at 930pm, 12/9/2023. They were in the process of preclosing their shop and put chairs up on tables to clean. Elderly couple arrived at 935pm. His wife went up front to order but elderly man went to tables to sit down. He removed a chair from the top of the table so he could have a place to sit. The store manager, Braylee (a person with a nose ring) started to publicly berate the elderly man for removing a chair so he could sit down. She screamed at him across the restaurant that those chairs were not able for him to use and they were 30 minutes from closing. The man stated that his wife was ordering and they wanted to eat inside. (Outside air temperature was 50 degrees). Manager said they could go outside to eat their ice cream but they could NOT eat inside. This entire event took place in front of many other customers and she was screaming at them across the restaurant.The elderly couple and their friends finally left without ordering.We sat there in amazement at the TERRIBLE customer service and horrific treatment to these elderly people.WHOEVER the owner is should really get involved in this. I went up front to confirm the managers name and her name tag even said, “team lead manager”.This is beyond belief that Graeter’s would employ someone like this.

Wow!! Such an incredible, unique ice cream place!! Friendly, helpful stuff, amazing ice-cream, huge scoop size! The Salted Caramel with chocolate chips had huge pieces of chocolate inside, the dark chocolate brownie one had real brownie pieces inside! Loved it, though I couldn’t finish my 2 scoops in a cup ice cream! Way too big ☺️

The ice cream is great but the attitude of the manager will make me choose a different location. I asked for recommendations, and she failed to offer me any suggestions. After my order of 2 milkshakes, I politely asked if she knew which flavor was which, where she proceed to yell "No" and began slamming down the ice cream containers and walked away. It's unfortunate that a great ice cream is ruined by those who manage the employees there. If I was the owner, I'd suggest finding a manager who actually enjoys her job and doesn't treat their customer like a pile of trash.

Good premium ice cream. I enjoy coming here because not only is their ice cream superb but their customer service is excellent as well. Also don't be shy if you're uncertain about a particular flavor, they'll gladly offer you a sample to test so you can make the right purchase for yourself. Even DQ doesn't do that.

The ice cream is as good as any other Graeter’s. However, promptly at 10:00 pm an employee came out into the the seating area and yelled out to everyone that we had to leave because they were closed. The store was full of patrons and had to go out side and try to find a place to eat their ice cream. Simply locking the doors and allowing the customers to finish their ice cream while they cleaned the store would have been a much kinder way to handle the situation. When everyone didn’t jump up and run out immediately another employee made another announcement. Very rude.

Wow the Chip Mint ice cream was fabulous along with the butter pecan. So good! Excellent service and greetings from the time we walked in to the time we walked out!

Normally I love Graeters, but I was super disappointed in this location. I’ve had fantastic Graeters in different areas of Ohio, so I very well know what Black Raspberry tastes like. When I ordered it here, I immediately knew something was off - it was way too dark in color and resembled something like red wine… the flavor was entirely off, it tasted like sweetened milk and nothing at all like the raspberry flavor it should have. There was also like 1 chunk of chocolate instead of the usual 8-9 I normally expect here. I didn’t even finish it and threw Hal do my dish out, that’s how disappointed I was. Don’t know if they made it wrong or what but I would not return to this particular location. Waste of $5, sadly.

I've never seen anyone serve ice cream better than Spencer and I've eaten a lot of ice cream in my life. This kid greeted us by asking if I had tried their black raspberry. He then proceeded to offer me five more tastings before I could even pick one. It was amazing. 5 stars for service and hospitality. Spencer is going far in life.

Great location on Bardstown Rd to get ice cream while walking or hanging out. Lots of different types and flavors to choose. You can get whatever you want. But when you order don't ask for a cone of phosphorus injected Pokemon swamp candy with real gorilla toenails. They will look at you weird. And no one needs that. Especially my pet gorilla Marshmallow who was hatched without toenails. Don't worry Mr Mallow, will find you toenails! I don't care if we have to go to every sweet shop in town!Anyways, Nick Sea gives 5 Butterfingers up!

Who doesn’t love ice cream?! Great flavors and selection but some of the ice cream can be really runny and wet. Was dripping and leaking before I got to pay :( runny ice cream two visits in a row. The first time one of associates got pretty upset she had to toss my ice cream/cone away when I asked her for a different flavor when it was clearly puddling in the cone before she handed it to me….😅oh well! After that one particular visit the rest of my trips to this location have been nothing short of amazing! Smiles all around:)))

I loved my time in this store earlier today. The staff is very friendly and they have a plethora of flavors. Was visiting from outta state so it was nice trying the bourbon flavored ice cream (cuz why not?). Tried many other flavors and they were all creamy and delicious. Will highly recommend!!!

I really only have good things to say, specifically about this particular Graeters. The ice cream is really top notch as you would expect, and the outdoor seating area is a nice touch when things are too hot. I see some people complaining about management on their reviews, but coming from someone who has eaten here semi-frequently, I’ve never had such an issue.

The ice cream is amazing. My wallet was stolen right before my most recent visit and they would not accept my discover card, which was the only form of payment that I hadn't lost in my wallet earlier that day. I didn't see any signs posted stating that they don't accept discover cards. Luckily I was with someone who was able to foot my bill.

This is one of my favorite ice cream purveyors in the US. For years my family has regularly had Graeter's shipped to our home far from any stores. Their ice creams are just so rich and delicious what else can I say. It is just a great place.

This small chain in the tri-state area never disappoints. Black raspberry, Mocha chip and the bucket are all favorites of my family. The chucks of chocolate they leave in the ice cream are soo good. Great ice cream and good service always. The restroom and dining areas were clean and well kept. I would come back to this location again.
