I am so disappointed in what Gailor Animal has become. First and foremost Dr Lackey and Dr Gailor I love. I think it's probably new staffers that seem to be the problem. Numerous times over the past couple of years I have needed to have my pet cared for ASAP . I was told Numerous times it would be 2 weeks before I can get in. Keep in mind I've taken my pets there for years. I've had cats at deaths door...yep 2 weeks. So extra money was spent to go to Jefferson Animal because my own vet can't get me in. Today broke my heart. My cat Dexter has went there since 6 weeks old. He had been treated the last one in a half years for intestinal cancer. He has had a really rough couple of nights with his pain. I called Gailor about 50 times this morning starting at 9am. As of 10am I had to end up going to Jefferson Animal Again to have my cat put down. It would have been nice to have the dr who was treating him to assist us and she would have if we could have gotten in over there. I am now done with this place and will be looking for another vet. Just thinking of the thousands of dollars we have spent there. HATS OF TO JEFFERSON ANIMAL FOR BEING THERE FOR US!!!

My experience at Gailor has always been a positive one. My sweet girl is an American pit Bull terrier and you never know what type of reaction you’ll get. Gailor has always treated Luna and my family with respect and love her as the sweet girl she is! They are knowledgeable and have always answered my many questions. My spay experience recently was very good and they did an excellent job.

This is a nice practice with several vets. Most of the staff are friendly and good with our 3 fur babies that are patients and we have spent a lot of money for their care and treatment. We also just added a new fur baby that would have been another patient until today.The problem is when you need an appointment due to illness or injury you can not get an appointment same day or next unless you agree to pay an extremely expensive fee then you'll not exactly receive an appointment time but come in and plan to wait possibly quite awhile until there's a free moment available.This is the second time in a year this has happened and I have to go to the Animal ER for an issue that needed antibiotics.

This place really is a joke my dog went for a checkup and to get his anal glands work on play try to overcharge me by saying he was too aggressive well he comes out with a muzzle on and his anal glands wasn't even pressed all the way. I could go on and on your crooks Gaylor and they never even reached out again after they took our money I've been going there for 40 years.

Had a great first experience at Gailor Animal Hospital.First, the place is laid out in a great design, ensuring that YOUR furkid won't have to share close quarters with others; lots of space.Secondly, they have wonderful ceramic tile floors for your baby to lay on while waiting, as well as benches with ample hiding room, for those who really aren't too keen on seeing the Dr.While waiting, (maybe 10 min, but we were 15 min early) we enjoyed the fact that animals aren't cramped up.We saw Dr Adam Herre, D.V.M. today. He was very relaxed and calming, recommending several different options.The Vet techs were awesome; I couldn't believe how quickly they got her nails trimmed!!They also came in to help hold Denim during her shots. Great!!!We had been looking for a Vet, and came here after reading the great Google reviews, then having a groomer say that was who they recommended also.This is now our Vet, & I hope that other people looking for a great Vet come here also.You will LOVE how they treat you and your baby.

My fur babies go no where else! I made the switch about a year ago and I am very happy with my decision. Every person from the Doctors, vet techs and the front desk are absolutely amazing! They always take time to make you feel as comfortable as possible.

Misdiagnosed. They refuse to help any further unless I pay them, even though they've been paid to not help already. In my line of work, I have to fix my errors, if any, on my dime. Gailor doesn't operate that way. What a shame!I understand no person or thing is perfect. However, the lack of desire to correct ones own errors is unacceptable, especially when it comes to the wellbeing of a person or animal.

My cat was doing fine had to.go to a vet or i will get a citation claiming he was sick he died in 2 days there was nothing wrong with him they said it was not my cat he has not been fixed and he was fixed my cat did not deserve that avoid them they want money

I found a stray cat in the parking lot at work, and took her into Gailor per the recommendation of a co-worker. The staff were amazing! They went over her with a fine toothed comb! She needed shots, to be spayed, and have her top canines removed because they were broken. They were great with Zelda, and since she required an uncommon surgery, the owner preformed her surgery. I thought all of this would add up to an astronomical sum, but I was surprised by how inexpensive it actually was. So, if I could give them more then 5 stars I would! She is now a healthy and happy house cat!

I stopped goin to gailor. Hard to get your animal in..No one seems overly friendly there..there is a few...But I never feel a personal touch....started goin to Dixie Animal and they are so nice and get you in pretty fast..im way happier

We love our vet! We have been bringing our puppy here for about 8 months now and we always have a great experience. Our dog is usually a bit anxious and vocal once he is inside and surrounded by other pets, but the employees have never seemed bothered by this, but instead come up and talk to him and pet him. They have always treated our dog with care and have explained any procedure to us in detail and answered all questions we have ever had thoroughly. We use their app to message with any questions and appointment requests we need, which is very handy. We also are able to get in the very next day to get his glands expressed when the need arises. We are very thankful for Gailor!

If you enjoy the process involved in purchasing a used car then you will love Gailor. Dr comes in and discusses your pets issue. Then someone different comes in with an estemate of charges. Actually the estemate appears more like a menu than recommendations for treatment. Been taking my dog there for three years. Each visit is more expensive than the previous visit. This time we're up to $370.00 to address allergies. The dog has had problems with allergies since the first visit but each visit brings a new drug or procedure. It's pretty obvious these people are all about the money and less about an effective treatment. Hell my neighbor had a guess and I don't have to pay him a dime.

After being given the $300 run around at a different animal hospital that couldn’t help, we called Dr. Gailor’s office and told them what was going on and that our dog needed emergency surgery or she was going to die and they said to bring her in immediately and we did. Dr Brewer saved our little girl and was able to get x-rays and bloodwork from the other place so I didn’t have to come out of pocket again. We are so appreciative. Dr Gailor saved the life of our old man pug after a different hospital wanted to put him down. I will never go to another veterinarian again. It’s a little bit of a drive but these folks have earned my loyalty.

I loved this vet. I went there for years, with multiple pets and always had a great experience. Unfortunately, though, when I made a call to their (no longer available) emergency service for help with my dog that was having repeated seizures, the employee that was on call at the time blocked our number. I have not been able to get calls through to the office since. It doesnt even ring. I have sent multiple emails about the issue since then but have never received a response or a resolution and have had to find a new vet because of it.

All of the providers that I have seen at Gailor have been wonderful. The staff is always welcoming and very friendly. I am very glad I switched my dogs care to Gailor. There has been multiple times my dog has needed a same day appointment and they always accommodate. Very affordable and care about your pets routine/wellness care as well as emergency care. Gailor Vet is absolutely top notch!! Staff is efficient and caring and remember us. We feel very welcomed when we visit. And Dr. Gailor is the very BEST! His knowledge and care for my babies is unmatched. I recently had to send my Nacho to join Jesus and the way he talked to us and love he showed made things much easier. He’s patient and very caring. I trust him implicitly. And Kristin came in to hug me and pray with me which meant the world! Thanks for always being there for us!

Gailor has been the best vet experience I've ever had in all of my years of utilizing vet services. They communicate clearly, concisely, and go above and beyond with care of their patients and their humans. I just recently switched to this location after some not so great experiences at a different company closer to my home. It was THE BEST decision I ever made. Everyone is friendly and knowledgeable, you don't wait in the waiting room for a very long and I was able to get a next day appointment when one of my babies wasn't feeling well. Dr Kyele Roberts was excellent. Our dog was diagnosed with diabetes and she called and gave me a full explanation of diabetes and what our dog’s care would involve. She was very caring but deliberate in her delivery of the information. I felt very informed and comfortable with the decisions I was making involving my dog’s health. I cannot say enough about how kind each and every person was in the office.

We got a puppy from a girl and she didn’t take care of her. She was 20 pounds under weight and was sick.. Doctor Gailor got her in right away ,It took some effort because she was pretty sickly. But she’s up 5.5 lbs now and healthy! Doctor Gailor saved her little life. We are so appreciative to him and his staff for the care and love that they showed our little Mika . I can't say enough good things about the doctors and staff at Gailor Animal Hospital. Dr. Gailor, Dr. Lackey, and Dr. Renck are all very kind, attentive, informative, and compassionate. Dr. Gailor worked with a specialist at Metropolitan Veterinary Specialists (who I would also recommend) and together they saved my dogs life after he was misdiagnosed at his original vet. They also worked towards providing the best care while giving me financial choices that I could afford without compromising his care. The front desk staff and nurses there are just as great, they are always nice and greet me AND my dog when we come in. Since we started going there in 2013, I have consistently been impressed with the care he receives and recommend Gailor Animal Hospital to anyone looking for a new vet.

We have been going here for years and I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my babies. Gailor Animal Hospital always provides the best care. All of the staff is so nice and very professional. We see Dr. Kylye Roberts and she is the most caring, compassionate, and honest vet I have ever met. You can tell she really loves animals and always makes me feel comfortable even if one of my babies has to have a scary procedure. She cares for my dogs like she would her own. I am a crazy dog mom and I am a nervous wreck when it comes to anything being wrong with my dogs. She always comforts me and is honest when there are risks involved, but she makes me feel comfortable and confident that everything is going to be ok. I live close by but I would drive hours if I didn’t. If you are looking for a new place to take your animals-go to Gailor Animal Hospital .
