I have always enjoyed coming to this store, especially to see the animals up for adoption. Unfortunately, they no longer have the Humane Society as part of their adoption program. I found out the other day that the humane society left around 3 years ago. However, from time to time they do somehow host pet adoption days. I also really like coming to Feeder Supply because the staff know what they're talking about. They are learned in their skill and they are very helpful and nice, and patient. The store is always very clean and organized. You can find anything from gravel and food for fish and fish tanks to dog and cat apparel, to dog houses/kennels, etc. They have fair prices on grooming. They even have it set up so you can groom your own pet for a price. They provide the shampoo, conditioner and what not for you.

Great staff. Buy food and use the dog wash mostly. Recently left a bag purchased canned dog food there and they still had it put aside when we returned to ask about it. Very thoughtful.

Abby at front register has great customer service! She was super friendly with my dog Riley!!!! She recommended good products for grooming, he’s a hairy boy! She made my experience so wonderful! The place was super clean and I was thrilled.

ETHAN in the fish department is an amazing fella! Very helpful, friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable, considerate, and full of fun fish facts. Was very patient with us and gave us his undivided attention. I will be back to purchase because of him.

This sign not only cracked me up, but is indicative of this locations employees and their great outlook. Store and shelves always look good, and the employees are happy and helpful. This is all high praise from me, as I spent decades in retail, much of it in management. Oh, and the sweet little conure behind the sign absolutely melted my heart! <3 <3 <3

Stopped in to get crickets for my beardie. As always we walked around and looked at the fish, ferrets, and as we were checking out the cats- a black cat named "Amber" whose sign reads "loves to be pet" mauled my kids hand when she reached in to touch her. Several employees saw and my daughter was screaming and crying and bleeding from a few scratches on her wrist. None of the employees even asked if she was okay while I was consoling her. I didn't make a big deal, but why have a sign describing a cat as loving to be pet? I wouldn't have let her try and touch the cat but the sign says "LOVES TO BE PET" and my daughter, she was gentle and I was standing right there. They could have at least said oh no I'm sorry at the very least. I think false advertising to re-home or get cats adopted isn't right either.

DO NOT BRING YOUR PET HERE FOR GROOMING!!!!! This was my puppy’s first ever grooming. I was told that they could not finish because they were too busy and running behind AND then had the audacity to tell I owed $35 for this......... Unbelievable that they would allow work like this to leave their facility! I am beyond livid!!!! This should never have been allowed to happen, NEVER!! See pics below, a before and after

I want to say a big thank you to Stephanie with KY Humane Society, who helped us adopt our dog, Riley. Stephanie was very courteous, professional, and made the adoption process fun! We were treated to a valuable coupon book after the adoption, which helped us purchase the necessities from Feeder's before we left. I cannot be more pleased with the experience, and am thrilled to have Riley as part of the family!

Plenty of selection for all of your animal needs. They also have a place to wash your dog and adoption services for the Humane Society. The people there are very friendly. They also have a good selection of fish aquarium etc. are the prices are a little higher than online but not always and they have a good selection of quality dog food and cat food. Usually one day of the week they also have a veterinary in there for vaccinations and simple check ups which is a really nice benefit I have used for many years.

Good little pet store for pets and needs, however there were a LOT of dead fish in the tanks, one tank had at least 4 dead fish in it with one still alive, but was nasty and empty. Hope they improve of their quality of fish care.

Everyone is nice here but the way the animals look here are all super sad. The cages are nasty, the reptiles are not taken care of properly. Some of the birds are picking out feathers. You would think with the area they would take better care of the animals..

I went there wanting to buy Koi (fish) food. They were out of stock on the $3.99/per pound bulk food. But they did have plenty of bags of Koi food for $26/1.4 lbs. This is very poor business. I'll be buying Koi food online.

Staff was very helpful and considerate of pets as long as you clean up after them. They have cleaner on standby to give to you. Just go to one of the registers and ask for it. Only down side it was a little dark inside.

First time visiting this location today and I had a great experience. Everything is nicely organized, super clean store. Employees were readily available to help and answer questions. The live animals at this store looked healthy compared to big chain stores like Petsmart and Petco.They don’t carry the senior version of Purina Pro Plan for my senior pup but that won’t deter me from returning as I have additional animals.Great store!

visted this store today with the intention of buying a small animal. The manager at this location (white male with facial hair) refused to let me see it after I asked politely. We drove all the way in with the intention of buying the animal but left due to his unprofessional behavior and refusal. His attitude was nasty and rude. Was in earlier to give my dog a bath and he was very rude to a elderly couple trying to buy cat food. Will not return.

I love this place! They have a wide variety of pet foods and treats for all types of diets. The people are so great as well because they all seem friendly and are always looking to assist me. I am disabled with a service dog and it's always nice to have someone to help getting items off the upper shelves since I am vertically challenged! I love the senior discount as well as the Rewards Program will helped me keep my dog in great food and treats at reasonable prices since I live on a fixed budget!!
