Didn't feel like going to Walmart for just bread. Figured I would see if the family Dollar had some. To my surprise they did and it was name brand, butternut the same that I get at Wally. Wasn't expecting to see eggo waffles or Mrs Butterworth syrup! Grabbed those items and no long wait in line to pay.

I don't drive so I have to walk every where and I needed to grab some things so I walked 10 mins to this store to only find out that at 9:12 am the doors were locked ok cool so i walked over to McDonald's to grab something to drink cam3 back at 930 STILL LOCKED!!!!

Store number says they open at 8am. Im here at 9am and the doors are locked. Theres no hour sign on the door. And i can clearly see people 2-3 people standing inthe aisle talking. When i tried to call to see what time they opened no one answered. As i was calling i saw a man walk to the front register and look out at me and walk to the back of the store.

This store is never open at 9 am. I’ve been here more than twice at 9 am and they don’t open the doors. I can see staff walking inside the store. Also today in the morning there was a worker from frito lay’s and he had to wait outside until 9:08 for them to let him in. And the lady looked at me, went back inside and locked the doors. Also at night they always close way early than 10 pm. Usually around 9 pm they are already closed. This is just stressful because people go there because according to google maps their hours are from 9am-10pm. And when you get there they are just closed because they want to. I’ve lived in the area for 7 years and this store has always been like this. So, I don’t really know how it’s still happening and nothing gets done about this.

In truth, the service is terrible, the store manager, well, according to the cashier who served me, she is the manager who treated me super hostile, apart from the fact that the merchandise had a price and she wanted to charge me more, which I told her that she couldn't do that. He said that was an old price to which I told him that I didn't work there and that wasn't my problem I told him ok I'm going to leave it and he got upset after that he yelled at me when I went to pay I asked him the total he told me 15 dollars I said that it was not correct, it was 30 dollars, that's why she was also upset, she yelled at me, she treated me like garbage, that's why she didn't put several things in the packaging, and after that she voted me out of the store without any kind of courtesy, she was very rude and behind It seems like there was an acquaintance of mine who was going to pay for a water and I had two transfers and she was upset because it is serious that I would rather lose two transfers of 30 each by charging a friend for 1 dollar for a water, they are very spoiled and very despotic with the client so I really don't go or fly to go

I just tried buying a Kit Kat here and handed the cashier a $20 bill. She said that I had to come up with more than that and spend at least $10. I thought she was just playing with me initially, its the family dollar store. She said to buy one of the big boxes of donuts on the shelf next to us. I had just gone to the atm and I needed change, I was only buying the kit Kat because they didn't offer cash back. She says I bet you do. We need change too. I said does the lady next to you by change have change? She said nope. She wouldn't even let me buy it. I was so shocked I've never been anywhere that less than $20 in thier drawer for change. I'm just like wow lol

No complaints about customer service or shelves being empty. My complaint is they either need to change the store hours on the web and the door or they need to actually stay open til those hours posted. They seem to close at a different time every night and it's frustrating because I have no car and I live right n3xt door to it!!

I visited this establishment today to purchase laundry detergent and bleach. The Regular price for the purex laundry detergent was advertised as $3.75 on the shelf and the bleach was $3 something as the regular price as well. However when I got to the counter, the items scanned as $4.25 and $4.35, respectively. I indicated to the sales associate that that was not the price advertised and she stated she could not change it only take it off. I let her know that that was not the price that was stated in the back and I should not have to pay the incorrect amount. She indicated that their new skus had not come in... This is not my problem nor should it be any customer's problem. However to make it even worse, the other sales associate said "where's my marker" and proceeded to the back to mark through the prices and write in a new price on the shelf. I'm appalled at the fact that the staff expended more energy to go hand write-in a price instead of providing good customer service and selling an item as it was advertised originally in print. Needless to say that in the future, I will visit Walgreens or Kroger or anywhere else before I return to any Family Dollar. I'd rather pay more money and be treated well than to deal with poor customer service.

DONT EVER SHOP HERE.....I shopped here yesterday (Thursday May 2nd, 2019) with my family. We got our stuff or so we thought and drove home 24 miles away. I started going through my bags and didn’t find an item that my husband had bought me so I looked everywhere at home thinking maybe it dropped out of the bag or fell somewhere and never found it. I called the store and it was left on the counter at the store. I knew it was the same item cause I throughly described the item to the person on the phone and in my opinion that’s no different than robbing someone...needless to say I won’t shop at this family dollar location anymore.(people should know how to do their job they was hired for)

Are there negative stars I can give? I go in this store frequently to shop. Today I went to purchase items and reload a prepaid card, as I have done many times at this store and other Family dollars. I ham a waitress and work very hard for the money I earn in tips. I had to reload my prepaid card and was pulling the money out of my purse. I had stacks of fives and one dollar bills in rubber band bundles. NOW mind you I was not going to give her all of these. I was only going to load 200.00 on the card. 150.00 in five and 50 .00 in ones. Before I could explain this the cashier who's name was Pam nastily cleared her throat. She then said" Are you reloading that card with all one dollar bills"? I said" No, not all of it." I never got to state an amount or the denominations I was going to use. She immediately informed me she was not taking all those ones and I had to go somewhere else! I told her I came in there all the time with the ones and fives and the other ladies and managers were glad to get them. I then tapped the sign taped to the register. It said in a rather rude way that they did not except big bills unless you purchased large quantities of items. This is because they are forever running out of money to make change. The soul reason that they like my ones and fives, it prevents someone from having to make a bank run for change. Anyways she refused to take my money for anything very, hatefully. I did call her a b**** to be honest that is what she was acting like. I never felt so demeaned by using the money I work so hard for as I did today. I never had a problem with anybody in this store until today. I honestly do not see it a problem to count to 50.00 by ones and to 150.00 by fives. I mean if you know how to count it takes all of 2 minutes! I have received the corporate office number and will be calling repeatedly until Pam is retrained in how to treat hard working customers. Sad to say to the ladies that loved my small bill , another location will be getting them, they seemed quite happy and respectful on W. Broadway to take them. They also are this ones that gave me the cooperate contact info, being familiar with this employee named Pam. This is not her first complaint, as they tell me and I am sure it will not be her last. Shame on Pam for snubbing hard working, law bidding customers. I pray you are never treated so unjustly and harshly Pam!!!

This is the worst store ever. You could barely walk through the aisles because of the boxes everywhere but nothing in stock on shelfs. The line to check out took 20 minutes.

They lock the doors like 45 mins before they close and they still require you to wear a mask even if your vaccinated, even though it’s not mandated anymore.

This place is horrible, you can never get cash back, which the store offers cash back, the manager is very rude, no customer service training, the very wordt they close 10 to 15 min early every night and dont even explain, the employee just look at you through the door... sad sad
