Whoever the lady was working tonight is probably the rudest lady I've ever encountered. She was pushing people out the door and telling them they had to leave because they were closed... At 7:40 p.m.. I was at the ecophone trying to get rid of an old phone (I was almost done) She told me that I couldn't finish it because they were closed. When I told her I just got out of work and the hours are 8-8, she said "no, we need to count down the drawer and stuff so we're closed". That's cute, I've never had a job where I can just change operation hours because I want to go home 🤣

Are they even open anymore?? Everytime I go, closed... Call... No answer. Am I just supposed to waste my time and drive there?? Guy employees always rude and threw my purchases in the bags like it didn't matter. Female manager is very nice tho and always treated me good. The only reason they are getting 3 Star is bc of that lady. I hope they aren't closed for good.

This store has had many turnovers of employees and management. I am truly glad to say since the last switch up was over a year ago we finally have an excellent manager and she handles the store and customers with respect. The place is more organized and not so much product of unnecessary or not selling items and more of what really sells. I am proud to say this is my local Dollar General store.

I love this Dollar General the people that work here are so nice and helpful. They will stop doing what there is doing to help you find something. One day that works here she been here a while she is the sweetest she always have a smile on her face always willing to help. This Dollar General is clean always have what you need and it seems like the prices are very low. One thing I dislike is you have to get the soap power from behind the counter because of the theft. People that steal from these stores don't understand how it hurts our community we are blessed to have the store in the community but how can they survive if you keep stealing from them.

I will never go to another Dollar general store a employee came up to me and said there security system said they saw me put something in my purse,so I opened my purse and only thing the employee had to say was Ooh it must have been someone else!!!Are you serious!!! That really made me mad I should have made her call the police just so she could see how this really made a loyal customer feel. As of now I have told my family stay out of Dollar general stores everybody don't steal.

Staff was friendly and the prices are great they are actually cheaper than my dollar General which is weird because I don't live to far from this one and they are always stocked with everything!!!!! The ones that's closest to me stay running out of stuff and I found some glade spray that I didn't even know glade made who would've knew!! This dollar General rocks

I got up there at 8:30 p.m. A female came to the door to unlock it saying we are closed, I said it's not 9 yet. She said yes I know but we are closing early tonight we have a situation, the cashier has to leave early. That's not my problem. Why can't a so called manager do her job and take over. It's not right when you have employees making and changing your opening and closing hours just because they want to. Give someone else a job who wants to work their hours they were hired for. How can you make your own closing hours, turning me and two others that pulled in after me away, not sure how many more after that. Wasting people's time, money and gas money to now drive somewhere else. Wrong, wrong, wrong. All should be fired !!! There were 3 employees there, not short on help. 2 behind the register while another one is turning customers away.

I use to Love the neighborhood store, BUT as of today went in and felt closet fobeia😳you couldn't get through half of the aisle, matter of fact needed a picture frame and i promise to you i could not get through the dango aisle😔THEN.. checking out, they had NO BAGS🙊😫😤we ask ms. how we suppose to carry this stuff out?!? she had no choice but to put it in a box! dollar general get it together because after all that imma shop at the one on Wilson st.

this is a very good Dollar General to get a drink and to use the restroom you do have to ask for the key overall it's easy to get into the parking lot at the got a decent size parking lot there might be a hobo begging for stuff outside. but most of the time that clerks tell them to leave.

Who Says A Dollar Won't Buy Much Anymore? Everyday Is a Dollar Day at The Dollar General Store. I remember that Jingle from the Dollar Generals commercials from when i was a kid. So, If you haven't shopped at Dollar General store before i think you will be pleasantly surprised at the diverse products that are offered. And the savings will be worth your time. Check Dollar General out if you haven't done so yet. The service is also exceptional. Very courteous and friendly employees.

I was looking for a particular item for my wife a young lady took me back to the clothing department which we could not find an anything then on the way out the door there was a 50% off rack that was full of different items I pick one of the items and went to purchase it at the register when the cashier said that this item what's not 50% off and I stated that there's a sign on this rack saying that it is 50% the conversation went on and I never received 50% off I registered a complaint and then I believe it was the district manager called me back and told me if I went back to the store that he will guarantee that I will get the item for what it was supposed to been thank you James

My favorite neighborhood quick shop store. Find myself heloing customers out sometimes lol. Feel comfortable sending my kids on their own as the employees and management know I'm their Mom. Never have any issues and love chatting with them.

Great experience, welcomed me to the store as soon as I entered the door. Sale items marked clearly, staff helpful. Good variety of items. Will definitely be going on a more regular basis .

Shelves not stocked, but Customer service was the best I've had since I started shopping there. Friendly faces, & was very pleasant when asked for help. Will continue to shop there maybe more now!!!!!!

I left this store not too long ago. Felt a bit discriminated against. Felt odd leaving. I’m just now learning about coupons, joined a group on fb and they were posting about some dollar general coupons and what not, so I went and tried it out. I was a bit confused so I was kinda just standing around trying to figure out how I can use the coupon and how they were doing it in the group, on my phone . Then I heard the security message play, I’m thinking oh, somebody is be stealing cause they play that when somebody suspicious is. Then I find out which deal I want to try first, then I grab the dryer sheets head to the front, I get in line, I see the lady with the dreads in the front, and some other dude standing there. And I glance over, she’s talking to him, and I hear her talking about me, say her pocket isn’t as full as before, I’m thinking why is she talking about me and my pockets? And I’m thinking, do they think I was stealing? And I notice that she was opening the door manually but when I walked in it opened automatically. Then I get to the cashier , use my coupon got my discount, paid and left. All the while feeling extremely odd, I felt like I was definitely being discriminated against and by a person of color too. I’m in there every week and they think I’m stealing. I’m at a loss for words. Felt stereotyped and discriminated against. I would like them to roll back the cameras to see what they think they saw... 9-23-2019 between 1&2 of what they thought I was doing. I was looking at my phone tryna figure out how to do these transactions, tryna figure if I was getting detergent, dishwashing liquid, or the dryer sheets. I’m appalled at how it just hit me how they stereotyped me out of nowhere like that.

Store is in utter and complete disarray. The shelves are not stocked at all. Literally everything is in boxez on the floor as if it were going out of business, which it isnt. The disscounted table of things when you first walk in is a joke. Nothing is as it says it costs according to the signs in a significant amount more. And the service is absolutely disturbing. They cashiers are very rude, messy, out spoken, and down right un professional. There is absolutely nothing about this place that would make me ever come back. But Family Dollar just a block down is the complete opposite. I love the store, its organized, clean and the service is excellent. But the prices are just a tad bit more.

I like dollar general,I shop there at least three,four times a day month I like the fact that there is a variety of items,that I need. I get all my paper items there and various other items,and when I need money I love the fact that I can get cash back , plus I use the digital coupons and that helps my budget.so kudos to dollar 🤗

This store at 13th Broadway has some nasty unprofessional workers that have no problem taking your money for a product but if u r dissatisfied with the product, u r told 2 take it 2 another store. They tried 2 tell.me the product was used and it wasn'tTheir policy is take your money but don't give out any. Don't seem n any way 2 b upset that they refuse 2 give u your money back. Then they quickly tell u u have 2 leave their store bc now they refuse 2 wait on u. They also take your money at the other stores but wen u want 2 take something back they tell u the machine is broke and so they can't do returns. U r also told u can't get any money back from their machines. Only n the black neighborhoods. That's y we have so .any. Have tried 2 call and complain. I love the dollar general they are fair with the price I try to go every day to get something bread milk and the sales.but they need to get secured in the store people still and I hate it for the employees the care about there store please be fair to the employees and get some security in the store.

My mom rent cars from Budget all the time we've never had a problem with the cars or employees their good ppl and the take care of their customers.
