The staff here are very slow at doing things. I have been trying to call them for 2 days now about a shoplifter to give them info and they will not answer the phone. We was their last night and the 2 women were outside talking to a guy in his truck. They should have been inside the store. Staff like this doesn't need to work their.

On 09/29/18 at 9:55 I needed Laundry soap and bleach which would have taken me 1 minute to grab and get to the check out before the computer shut down for the night, and this lady would not even let me in the store at all. Even though I told her I needed just two things and it would only take me a couple minutes, knowing very well of the computers turning off at 10 pm. I am very well aware of my time limit . I have been a customer there for as long as I can remember. And have shown up close to closing time before for a quick last minute buy and have never been turned away till tonight. This employee was very rude, and disrespectful. Dollar General has lost a long time customer tonight thanks to this employee.

Being forced to do the u scan is lazy! What happen to guest service and the friendly way of greeting your customers and having a pleasant interaction with them. Now I feel segregated from cash paying customers cause their machine is half broke and doesn't take money! This place is pathetic and seems lazy with the employees attitudes when they direct you to self check our if you are paying with a card!

I’m giving 5 stars to the ladies working in there today for the type of people they have to put up with that come in there. My god. I’ve seen the one lady that works in there get attacked on more than one occasion. They need some sort of security in there to protect their workers.

Great store selection. Found exactly what I was looking for. No problem. Excellent price. Also found other items I needed but wasn't looking for. All in all I found lots of items and paid a lot less than going to a crowded retail store. It's great to buy a bunch and spend very little. 👍👍

This DG was in one of the worst conditions I have ever seen. Not just messy and big racks blocking every single aisle but also was just nasty dirty. I would not recommend if you were actually looking for something. I couldn't find anything in that store. Employees were also just yelling.

I just loved being able to go into one of these store and it was clean, organized and the employees were courteous and helpful. I live in Shively there's two stores within reach of me and they're both very disorganized unclean and noxious employees so good job Dollar Store on 3rd Street I will drive to come back to your store thank you for making my experience pleasurable

Don't bother. Closed more days than open -- and unexpectedly. No reason to bother pulling in the parking lot, they're probably closed. Can't get their act together for more than a day.

Its just your normal and typical dollar general...Wild and crazy kiddos running around playing with toys. While in the meantime, their mother is over in another isle pulling her hair out like a mad scientist, just because of her children thinking their mother is playing games and not being serious about taking the Xbox or Playstion away for a week whenever they get home...All in all Dollar General is not a bad little all around basic needs store from items ranging to everyday necessities, over the counter drugs, clothes and even foodNote: I most definitely go back from time to time, just because they are conveniently located for my daily commute.Hope this review helps

I've been in wholesale and retail all my life and when you cut back on the help it shows and its not the employees fault but thats the way walmart and everyone else does so if Dollar General does don't look for good surveys, simple as that!!

Too bad there isnt a zero star rating -__- Everytime I go in there, there's only one person working, and they're on the register! Dollar general is meant to be in and out. So much for purchasing just ice if it take 10 minutes alone in the cashier line. The other day I walked in looking for bubbles only to find a mile long line and no one to help on the floor. But days like today, I go in only to be in line for a lifetime. Get greeted by an unhappy employer and find the store manager standing outside smoking a cigarette. Honeslty, I'm better off going an extra 2 miles to walmart and getting what I need.

Store is great place to purchase merchandise if you're in a hurry most items are well priced sometimes the store is out of certain items but what do you expect the area is well populated things go fast but you always can locate another store close by and find it at that location

Store is dirty and usually under staffed. Frequently overhear employees cursing like sailors when talk I ng to each other although customers are shopping in the next aisle. I only go when kroger isn't an option.

If you're in any kind of hurry DO NOT GO HERE. The employees are under paid so they are in no hurry. The store is way too cluttered to get through with a cart at any given time.

I stopped at Dollar General on old 3rd Street Road looking for a snowman tree. The lady working said if they had any they would be out. I saw boxes that needed to be unloaded and no one checked.

This is my favorite store to stop and shop at when I am in a hurry. Cant beat their prices on everything from chips to dog food. Clean neat store.

Baskets were in such bad shape , that my mom had to come outside and get me to push her basket up to counter cause it wouldnt roll..what up with all dollar general stores?all of them close early, and stock in isles so cant even shop...

Like every other DG, little of everything, low prices, wouldn't buy EVERYTHING there but most. Not cheap quality in most products. Walmart still has the most and cheaper
