The door was closed right at 9:30pm when clearly it says that it closes at 10pm then when I knocked the lady was really rude and said to me we close at 9:30pm not 10pm. I told her well your sign clearly says 10pm and google too. This is not right

This place was very dirty, unorganized.. And boxes just setting around on the floor that needed to be opened and put on shelves. The workers were nice but needed help. To much to do with 2 women.. The store was a big mess stuff was thrown everywhere. This place should not look like this.. But it's not only this store that looks like this it's just about every one local in Louisville.. If you go to other Dollar General stores like in Radcliffe or Indiana they look very organized and clean.. You might see some boxes getting unpacked and being stocked on the shelves. Gm's check your stores and clean them up. Ty

I was disappointed to learn that when I went to check out the advertisement on the racks was buy one get one free didn't really apply to anything on the rack. The cashier said it had to have a red triangle on it however none of the apparel on the six racks had a red triangle on it. The sign doesn't say anything about red triangles.

Overall it was clean and product on shelves. Many items are in the wrong place and when you check-out the price varies. With a line behind you because there is only one cashier and manager there, you don't want to hold up the 5 people behind you by getting price check and showing them what price they should honor. Just watch your barcodes.

This was my first visit to this location. Store was well lit and was pretty organized. Went in for trash bags and they had some clearance for a buck. I had a 1$ bill and a 5$ bill with no change. The young cashier who was extremely nice and warm (I want to say his was Austin but can't remember for sure), took my dollar while saying he had the rest. I'm guessing he saw my frustration when I had to break my larger bill. He took a dime out of his pocket and gave me the extra 4 cents. This may not be a huge deal, but it was to me. It showed he was attentive and went the extra mile for the customers. I thanked this young man to the high heavens and walked out with a huge smile. Will definitely be back.

If delivering, be prepared. Many new drivers decide its not for them. Load empty roll containers and unload freight. Loaded tightly side by side 3/4 across constantly having to pry containers away from one another. Containers filled with many products Bottled Water, Charcoal and Dogfood some of the heavier items. You will feel it, gets better with time, easily lose weight.Have fun.

This place is never real busy so you can get in and out quickly. They usually have good nice people working. It is one of the older Dollar stores though. Not very big either.It is very convenient if you only need a couple of quick things.

It recently go renovated they got more stuff on shelves and it looks much better I’ve lived right behind this place most my life and it’s not the best there is but anything small you need I’m sure they have it and the manager there is a nice guy any problems I’m sure they can be solved

I like the dollar store. I go to 2 different ones on Dixie highway ( south end ). They are extremely busy , great locations. You really need to get more help for both of them, they are dirty and carts of stock is always on the aisle. Help them we need these dollar. Stores

The prolly that work there are phenomenal and will help whenever they can. They usually have a decent selection of items. It just sucks it goes through corporate what they have instead of them being able to order things. All in all, an awesome store with awesome employees.

I was able to find everything I wemt to Dollar General to get. Employees are very helpful to get items that I was unable to reach. Cashier fixed my bags to be light enough for me to carry. They know me by name and very friendly. They carry my bags to my SUV and put them in. They make sure I get in o.k. due to a car accident I was in.

The cashier was super polite etc. I dont understand why Corp ofc doesn't add payroll dollars to CLEAN UP THEIR STORES AND KEEP THEM ORGANIZED! They would save on the pilferage. It would be a life changing decidion for their stores.

Customer service primarily with the store manager is quite frustrating. you asked for merchandise says they refuse to bring you to the merchandise they tell you that you're back loads on trucks for 2 and 1/2 weeks so if you want something they don't have it tough luck.

I don't dislike this place except that they don't have enough help and that last time I was in there they didn't have anything that I needed period shelves were wiped out and there were I don't know how many things to be unloaded and put on the shelf but they didn't have enough people to do that and so the things that I needed I couldn't get because he didn't have period but sometimes I go in there and they have what I need and I do buy stuff there and they're friendly and nice but they just have a hard time keeping help to stop their shelves period people just don't want to work and that's just the way it is and this day and time we're living in I have no complaints about the few workers they do have there they're very courteous and nice they help me out to my car when I need help and they're very friendly and I appreciate having them close to where I live

NOT happy. Will not shop here again. Came here with my grandma and my small kids. My grandma and i each had a kids hand plus a hand basket of groceries.The cashier. Her name was Antarctica or something close and wouldnt take our basket. She got rude and told us to take the stuff out and when i asked where to put the basket she just pointed by the door. This was after she got an attitude and snapped at the woman infront of us.Please stop hiring out of desperation and hire people who will keep customers coming back..not run them off.

Needs help forsure. There's no organization carts are in all walkways with products on them and they don't have anything on shelves if it is on shelves its not much or in the wrong place. Workers are very rude and don't care about what is going on in the store.

Caitlyn at this store is very very rude. She yelled at me in front of 8 customers. She left the cashier and screamed at her co worker that she was "done" and needed her 30 minute break. She refused to take an item off the bill as she did not have the power. She said to me "Your Face is annoying me". Her co worker said she is very rude and nasty to customers and advised I should call corporate. Do not shop at this location. There are a few other stores close in the area that provide much better service. I have filed a complaint with corporate. They will have a district manager call me back in 24-48 hours. Hopefully someone can change this employees attitude. Its terrible to see rude people like this have a job when so many nice people are looking for work. I will never go back to this store again.

I give 4 stars for the employees. But zero for store appearance. Its like shopping in a hoarders shopU cant maneuver thru aisles. Inventory, and boxes piled to ceiling with no visible places to unload. Complete chaos. Business owner should be fired and ashamed. Items are cheap or I would never b in this environment

I went in for one thing and saw some sweatpants on sale. Buy one get one 50% off. They didnt ring up that way. The associate said she would get the manager to fix it. The manager came out a short fat fake blonde old lady. She said she had worked there 15 years and the university attire is never part of that sale. I said well the rack says it is. She was so rude yelling at me. She said pretty much called me stupid. Not to mention the way she belittled the woman working the cash register was appalling. I left with out buying anything and I will never shop at dollar general again. They do not deserve anyone's business while employing such horrific people.

Terrible customer service. Did not use digital coupons because the moron at the cash register started ringing me up too soon and then tried to tell me I did not sign up right. She plainly did not care that it was her mistake! I won't go there again. Not even 1 star The store was a complete mess and shelves were mostly picked over and empty!

Lots of empty pegs. Not much to choose from. Looked for body spray for men. They had a total of 2 fragrances. 1 bottle of each one. Looked for my favorite candy. They didn't have any kind I like. Seens to be going downhill. The dog treats I have purchased in the past, none. Very disappointed. Will not be back. Waste of my time.

Horrible store. Filthy dirty and very messy. I took my purchases to the register and no one was there. I walked back and forth across the front of the store looking for someone and never saw anyone. I stood at the register for awhile and no one came to check me out so I left my stuff on the register and walked out. What is worse is I had went to the store on west pages and Terry and the doors were locked but the lights were on and cars were in the parking lot. That's crazy at noon to be closed.

Store has been through many management changes. Do yourself a favor and go to the South 3rd street store near Windsor Forest. It's better stocked, better organized and a heck of a lot cleaner!

Your phone will lose reception. Clothes are ALWAYS a mess and the apartments next store attract a bad crowd in the parking lot. Great staff working here!
