Always friendly helpful and convenientUpdate: 2/20/2024 they are remodeling the store . It looks wonderful !! More fresh food items. Better organized. I'm happy to see dollar general stores expanding. They are a blessing in many neighborhoods that are considered food deserts. I really appreciate the investment.

Got here before 7:30 and they already had the doors locked. Sign says they close at 8. Customer and employee still inside but employee said “we’re closed” and wouldn’t open the doors.

When to buy some groceries I'm truck driver and they treat me like trash is not baskets and put my groceries in a bag when to pay and they got upset whit me .how I supposed to carrier my groceries when they dont have basket or shopping carts.

I would give 5 star because workers are very nice and almost always have what I want. But it's a hit or miss when they open. Don't know til you get there

This is the worst store I have ever been in with the worst employees I have ever encountered. They falsely advertise that they participate in the order online and pick up at store program that Dollar general offers, which was not only confirmed through the online app, but there's also a banner hung on the building itself that says "Order online and pick up at the store", which suggests this location participates. The employees were very rude when I arrived to pick up my order that I placed and paid for online the day before. A man, portraying himself as a very unfit manager, was rude and extremely unhelpful. Not only did they not fulfill my online order, when asked how this would be rectified, since my credit card had been charged already, the unfit manager said I don't know maybe call somebody, which was followed by a story of how he had the same experience at walmart. I decided to ahead and get a couple of the items I really needed and was on sale. The staff was not at all helpful at finding anything when asked. The store was in such disarray, shelves were scarce, the isles were an accident waiting to happen, either blocked completely or had product on the floor. During checkout I entered my telephone number so my digital coupons would be applied to my purchase and when the total amount due did not add up correctly, both the acting manager and the cashier insisted the coupons had been applied/deducted, even after I verbally added up the 5 items at full price. I showed the receipt to the man acting as a manager, his response when I asked for a credit was, "I'm not going to open the cash register to give you any money back, it's not my fault the coupons didn't work". At the very least he could have refunded, re-rung the purchase and applied the coupons. Which he adamantly refused to do. I would not recommend to my worst enemy to shop at this location. It doesn't take much to offer the customer service that you are there (and paid) to provide. I would suggest to the regional or district manager to register the employees for either online or in person customer service skill training course, or replace them. Also, the only reason I gave them one star is because you can't leave a review without giving it something.

Dollar General is a good store I can't say to much more. I never have a situation when I come in the store. They always seem to have what I want just always clean cashiers always pretty nice. I'm not saying this is a perfect store I can give them 4 stars ✴️🌟✴️🌟 I think I like them better then Family Dollar they seem to be cheaper than Family Dollar and that's a good thing

Store was cluttered with so many display items and random stuff in the aisles that it was almost impossible to get a cart through. Yet, despite the store's sloppy appearance we were able to locate the items we came for, at a fair price. The manager was considerate and helpful to customers, even as closing time approached.

Little clutter but for the most part it was stocked and neat. My main issues were with the cashier. She did not get me and complained from the time I walked up until she finished. Cheap bags. Took too many. Glad I am getting off soon. Now it is going to make noise with the fan. I don't want to hear all that! She did tell me to have a nice rest of the day.

The staff are fine. However the parking lot is a health hazard! It's disgusting how someone can discard used syringes in a place that numerous people, kids & animals walk through daily. If someone becomes a felon for selling dope, why shouldn't people endangering lives in another way?!

Cashier was very polite and helpful. Made sure to tell us to keep hydrated. And made a connection with us by saying he would keep our family member in their prayers. Loved it glad people like this are still working with the public.

This store was the first clean and organized Dollar General Store I've ever shipped in. I was really overwhelmed. The manager was VERY courteous. I was greeted as I entered. I told her that this will be my store of choice. I also told her that this particular store should be used as model for other store....(Field Trip).

No baskets to shop! This is sad and not customer service friendly at all😡. They never have legitimate answer when I asked them the question...why are there no baskets to shop? Shelfs are well stocked but if there are no baskets it defeats the purpose ya think 🤔.

There's a big parking lot so there's plenty of parking good they have lots of different items to choose from grocery items, clothes and shoes, hats, baby items and supplies I shop here a couple times a month it's close to my house so it's convenient and the prices on their items are decent the only issue I experienced almost every single time I go in there there's always await at the cash register there's always a long line for such a small store

It had everything we needed and it was easy to find and we didn't have to wait a long time to check out and the employee was nice and greeted us when we walked in and told us to be safe and have a great day when we left, which was nice because not everyone does that.

The gm here is the best her customer service skills are wonderful by far the best in Louisville Every time I go I. There they greet me and are super friendly. And it's actually stocked and clean.

the morning cashier is pretty and polite....This is my favorite Dollar General even though it's in the hood!!! To top it all off The mens restroom didnt smell of urine ..and there was reading material 😎😁😎😁🤗

They have a young trouble maker working there I have PTSD she caused me a problem I tried to get corporates number from the store on 17th and Market they gave me some off the chain number and then I went back to ask for the number and they told me they don't have it so what do they do when their checks don't come upon leaving the store I was so upset I couldn't drive my car home so if there's anyone out there that has the corporate number please send it to me thank you have a blessed and wonderful day imma pray for the young lady her name was Brianna or Breanne did I mention her boyfriend and two other guys where loitering in front of the store and she called him in to disrespect me and she was behind the counter wow what a trip I was only going out for ginger ale and turned into a nightmare going home

This Dollar General is fast, covenient, and very friendly customer service by the manager to the associates! I love this location it is very neat and organized the shelves are always fully stocked.
