Store is cluttered. Staff stands around complaining and cussing about their job or customers. The cashier was slow, and rude. She was complaining about an elderly lady that went ahead of me. I requested cash back and she told me I needed to learn to read. She did give me my cash back, after making a scene and embarrassing me at the register. I'll go out of my way to go somewhere else

The staff seems unbelievably hostile. The cashiers assume people are stealing and cuss out guests with no discernable reason to believe they're up to no good. Find somewhere else to shop, plenty of places to go where you won't be automatically treated like scum just for walking in the door.

I'm always giving Dollar General age 10 star review because they always have what I want the store's clean most of the time. The cashiers be pretty nice this cashier this location at this particular time I went was wonderful she a very good personality very good customer service skills so that makes my visit there a very good visit. People like to be treated nice when they're spending that money and somebody's establishments.

I went to 2 different stores today. The first one had one employee stocking and checking people out. Very haphazard and out of stock. The second store was much better stocked, but an employee started bad talking me to her other workers. I needed something to drink something fast due to an upper re3spiratory infection. She was very derogatory. I still spent 30 something dollars. A bad experience indeed.

This store was crowded with merch; I couldnt get around with my rollator.. Yet the things I really needed, was not in stock.. You have complaining stock men saying they are not going to put in the extra effort to help get things done, but isnt this apart of the assesment questions before getting hired?? He was less than friendly and helpful nor was he dressed appropriately for a rainy day at work.. He clearly did not want to be there.. The supervisor lady was friendly and helpful, ringing up my purchases.. Overall experience, I would rather had shopped at another Dollar General..

It was very bad. I was approached by a employee and accused of stealing. Because another customer informed them that I was stealing. Then I was rudely cursed out by employee. Told that she wouldn't check me out nor would the gentleman on the register at the time be checking me out. Then the assistant in manager come in as I was leaving and he done nothing. He told me that if the employee chose to not to check me out it was fine. Because she didn't have too. When I was so rudely accuse I gave the employee permission to look in my purse and nothing was found. Because I was not stealing. I was very upsetting and I felt that I was done wrong. I will not be shopping at that Dollar General or any other one ever again.

My experience at this store was aggravating. Customer service was rude, busy talking to each other mostly. Long lines like family dollar up the street. When I was managing in retail, I told my crew speed of service is #1, these people here are not friendly

I sat in the car waiting for someone to come out suddenly they locked the doors. I didn't know what was going on then I was told someone was stealing. Someone got off the bus and walked away because he couldn't get in. I couldn't imagine having no choice but to go to stores like this. It's sad how you get better service depending on the area of town you live in. I would hate to have to patronize a businesses that make me feel like Im gonna steal something. If I had to drive to another part of town once a week to do all my shopping I would, but I know some people don't have that option very unfortunate.

Generally speaking, all locations need a revamp.This time the cashiers were Great.Just surpised the 22nd & Broadway locale was Actually open for a change.Pre Pandemic...this place is notorious for Early closing. Plus usually a Mess in the whole store, yet today was cool.

This location is never full stocked and they don't upgrade there price tags but do not honor the prices that area on display.... Definitely reccomend going to a different location

Store is big, nice and clean. Unfortunately employees aren't friendly at all and dude at the register had a half smoked blunt behind his ear. The whole store smelled like bud.

They don't have a very big selection and it seems to me that they rarely stock their shelves cause the aisles are usually full of carts with merchandise on the waiting to be stocked on the shelves also it could use some TLC and cleaning on a scle of 1-10 1 being the dirtiest and 10 being the cleaneat I would give it a 2 and last but nowhere near done with the list of problems with this place but I dont have all day to write it on here their employees never seem to know where anything is or if they even carry it or if it's in stock smh

I was in the store a few days ago and was accused of stealing twice in an hours time. If you go to this store you should not take your time and search for coupons or discounts. Even though they have cameras they will assume you have magically taken things. I was only trying to see how much I could actually save by using coupons and store discounts, which ended up being $9.90 off my $25 total. I would have rather paid $20 more than my original total instead of being accused of stealing twice.

Had to get some food items, soups, puddings and jelly-o, and tomato juice, plus a few non food items, got 2 pj night wear sets, after being at the Dentist down the street having a tooth pulled. I love this Dollar General Store on 24th and Broadway Street in the West End.

I look online to see when the store closes and it says 10pm I walk up there at 7:30pm and the.store is closed i walk back and check again and call no answer store closed thats really inconvenient in my opinion and un welcoming
