If you're a penny pincher/saver like myself, I advise you to shop around before stopping here. EXTREMELY PRICEY! 3 STARS because I scheduled the very first appt. of the day for 9am, and I was out of there by 9:17am. The ladies were very pleasant with friendly smiles, and the inside was clean, but I was flabbergasted when I received the bill. See the photos I attached with the invoice.

Dr Bockman was amazing! The kindness and compassion was so wonderful. The staff was so helpful and I will be using them from now on. I am so thankful for them ! They treated my chihuahua Fae like the princess she is .

Wow, you talk about some nice people! Very sincere, like they genuinely cared (my friend's cat is terminal), very nice, warm surroundings, so you feel comfortable. I was having an 'off' day, and I don't think the Dr took to me very well, but It's fine. I do recommend this place. Nice atmosphere. Etc. Very nice.

Fast and friendly service. Didn't have to wait long and they checked our dog in and we didn't have to wait on the vet. Weighed her, got her medications and left.

I've been taking Bella here for 5 years. Staff and docs are super nice and they are so caring about my little girl. They always love on her greet us with a smile. She is diabetic and because of that they always work me in. I highly recommend them.

I strongly suggest you look elsewhere if you’re not wanting to get charged for ridiculous things. I called a week ago before setting up the appointment because I like to budget for these things. My pup needed to get yearly shots and I was quoted $120 over the phone which I was ok with. When I went to pay they charged me over $150. I was shocked and didn’t say anything to them about it until I got home and looked over the receipt… turns out they charged me $24.25 on top of the vaccines. I called them to see what it was for and they informed me that if you take your pet and do more than one thing (in my case my dog got 4 shots) they charge a “vet tech fee”. The entire appointment took less than 15 mins from the moment we checked in to when we paid. The staff is also not friendly, over the phone they tried to guilt trip me about not adding a fecal test to the list of things I wanted to do, which is absolutely ridiculous considering the fact that they’re already pretty pricey. Absolutely ridiculous, needless to say I will not be back.

This was my first time going to them this month and they have been so kind and informative about all of my dogs needs. They are very transparent on what to expect to pay before you get there. Their prices honestly shocked me! Extremely affordable. And they allowed me to schedule my appointments that worked with my budget, preliminary check up, updated shots next, and next month is the dental surgery. They were very understanding and will work with you. Their customer service is unmatched! They are very quick as well. You don’t have to wait too long to be seen, they accept appointments and abide by those. Nice staff, very Clean, smells fresh, No complaints.

I love these guys. We’ve been using them for the past 20 years or so. They saw us through two great dogs, Tucker and Lady and when the time came to let them go, the staff at Dixie were just more than caring, they were so loving and sensitive. Now, we have Pepper, a rescue Pit mix and she’s getting the same wonderful care we’ve come to expect. I know vet care can be pricey but if anything happens to Pepper, I’m running up to Dixie Animal Hospital!

Started going here in 2020 during the height of the pandemic. I've got 2 dogs and 3 cats, all rescues and have been to many vets and animal hospitals in Louisville.Out of every animal hospital I've been to they are consistently the most affordable.This was honestly my main decision when I was looking for the basic shots when I got my husky in 2020. Until this week, June 2022, I'd never been able to go with my pet inside the clinic because of covid. The staff facilitated a very organized parking lot/car type of service during 2020 and it went smoothly. When I brought my husky in for a sick visit and finally went inside I was really surprised at how friendly the staff was. All the employees down to the woman cleaning up to the vet (Dr. L?) treated us very well. Thanks for taking care of my baby 💕

I recently switched this to this vet from Preston Animal and all I can say is within the 1st month we've been here, the staff has been AMAZING. Worked us in when our corgi needed medical attention for Bladder stones and we got surgery scheduled very quickly. The entire surgical process was so easy and although we were so nervous experiencing something like for the first time, the staff and veterinarians have been patient, easy to work with and went above and beyond to take care of our baby. I highly recommend them. Affordable prices and in and out with normal check ups. Prior to coming here, I always heard good things about them from other friends

Very clean, plenty of parking. Staff were friendly. Took my cat because she wasn't eating. Got a nausea shot, blood work, and flea/earmite/heartworm medicine and cleaned out her ears. She's is barely eating. Don't know what's up.
