This is the worst pharmacy I’ve ever used. Fill times are always hours so I never get a same day refill. Pick up times can be OK if the pharmacy is open inside. The drive thru is always garbage.That said, it’s clear the pharmacists are completely overwhelmed. The only explanation has to be poor management at this location. Avoid at all costs if you can.

I wish I could give this pharmacy 0 stars. My son was in the ER with an open fracture where his bone was sticking out of his skin. He was given IV antibiotics in the hospital because of the severe risk of infection open fractures pose. The ER doc said it’s extremely important he take another dose of antibiotics no later than 4am so I needed to drive 40 minutes to the 24 hour pharmacy. I arrived at the “24 hour” pharmacy in the middle of the night to find they were closed and would reopen at 8am. I drove back (another 40 mins each way) at 8am and was greeted by the rude staff who said it would be 40 minutes until they could get to it. I sat and watched as others who were told it would be a 40 minute wait only waited like 2 minutes, meanwhile it took over an hour for them to get my son’s prescription ready. It was 11 by the time I got home with his antibiotic….7 hours after he needed to have it. I would have been better off having it sent to my close to home pharmacy that opens at 9. Praying my child doesn’t end up with an infection due to the incompetence of this pharmacy. Their sense of urgency and care is literally at a IDGAF level. Incredibly frustrating and upsetting.

Pharmacy staff prefer to spread COVID inside their store than walk across the aisle— ordered COVID 19 tests for pickup and for extra precautions and safety, tried to pick them up in the drive thru pharmacy window. Two pharmacy staff were not helpful and insisted I have to go to the front to check out. No option for curbside or any other COVID conscious pickup. In the end, I had to step inside the store and the front counter pickup was as simple as stating my name.. no ringing up. Safer alternatives could have been: keep COVID tests as pharmacy items available for drive thru, walk to the front and bring the order for COVID tests to the drive thru window, or offer curbside pickup for immune compromised and COVID positive customers trying to access resources and care.

This is no longer a 24 hour pharmacy. It's not even a 12 hour pharmacy. And if you don't have your prescription sent in electronically, good luck getting it filled before you go insane from the wait time. Also, don't use the drive thru, you'll run out of gas before you get to the window.All that said, it still gets 2 stars because I've never had any of the staff be rude. Slow, and usually overwhelmed, but not rude.

Please note that the pharmacy will be closed at the lunch times included in photo but open 24 hours when the stores closed but doesn't say this online therefore, myself, as well as two or three people show up. 2-3 others show or pass by in autos while I'm sitting here taking pictures having arrived thinking it's open inside. It is not. It closes at an unknown time probably 10:00 p.m. tonight before it opens at 6:00 a.m. the next morning for the inside store. The pharmacy drive thru is open.

Had an immediate care visit yesterday for an illness that I need an antibiotic for. The appointment was over around 3 so instead of having them send the prescription to the Kroger I usually use, because they closed at 6, I sent it to this “24 hour” pharmacy thinking I’d still be able to get it yesterday. By 9:30 last night it wasn’t ready but I drive by, thinking they’d get it ready. Well the drive thru was around the building and not moving. So I gave up and now at 36 hours after I needed this antibiotic to feel better, it’s still not ready and nobody answer the phone. Oh and they close at 10pm, not 24 hours. So frustrating. I’m sick and need this medicine!! I guess I’ll see if my pharmacy can transfer it tomorrow! Avoid this place, don’t fall for the 24 hour lie too!! There’s no excuse!!

I was intentionally disconnected FOUR times tonight. I was spoken to so rudely that I cannot imagine the employee cares to keep her job. I do NOT recommend this CVS location, which is supposedly a 24H pharmacy and closed at 10pm.

The pharmacy is a mess. I was using them for my prescriptions before I moved away last year. Then this summer in 2023 I moved back and it had become a disgrace. I can never ever ever get through over the phone, they are always backed up, they put one of my prescriptions for my son "on hold" but I cannot find out why. I used to use them because they were 24 hours but it has become a liability at this point. I'm so disappointed and am finding another pharmacy.

This is the nastiest most disgusting CVS pharmacy I have ever dealt with. I literally just got done recording a conversation with a very nasty female pharmacist. The other Cvs told me to transfer a prescription, but she couldn’t even manage to do that. She outright refused for no reason other than just for the sake of being nasty. That’s what the Cvs does. It’s their MO. Just cancel any prescriptions you have here and go somewhere- ANYWHERE else. I’ll be filing complaints. Something needs to change here they all need to be fired. They are all rotten.

Very rude employees how going to be a 24hr pharmacy Not have a pharmacist on duty or update online. Let alone start 2 children meds then close have way through transactions kept my kids meds froze from being able to be sent to another pharmacy. They all stood around saying nothing they could do no stars rude from time we walked in . Pharmacist who started and stopped and closed half way with out finish order is very inconsiderate

Tonight, as my husband waited in the pharmacy line with our very sick baby, Christie at the window mentioned a twenty-minute wait. However, Christie's extraordinary kindness shone through when our baby's cries intensified. Without hesitation, she expedited our baby's medication, demonstrating a level of compassion that deeply touched us. This act of genuine care reminded us that there are truly wonderful people out there who willingly go above and beyond. A heartfelt appreciation goes out to the entire CVS pharmacy staff for their exceptional dedication and kindness.

This CVS is a disaster. They screwed up several of my prescriptions giving me the wrong amount of medication. I transferred a prescription from them to Kroger and CVS screwed it up. I filed a complaint with CVS corporate. This CVS does not answer the phone, so don't try to call them. There are many, many complaints about this CVS on NextDoor.

Some of the rudest staff I've experienced in a CVS or pharmacy before. They little concern for the patient and their need for medicine. I tried calling and was on hold for an hour before I visited. When I asked if they answer phone calls the responded "we try to answer the phone when we can. I'll take the next person in line". No apology at all. I will be moving my business as this is not nearly the first experience like this.

Worst pharmacy ever. Always a ridiculously long wait. Worst procedures ever. They closed the in store pharmacy so you can’t ask questions, make you wait in a giant line for drive thru, then when you finally get up to the window they just tell you that nothing is ready and they are hours behind. Total cluster. Go somewhere else if you want any decent service.

This is a terrible pharmacy, they are consistently extremely slow. Today I had a doctor's appointment at 11:45am, waited until 8pm to pick up the prescription so that they would have plenty of time to get it ready then sat in the drive through pick up line for 40 minutes only to be told that my prescription wasn't ready and to come back in an hour. This is only one of many similar experiences. Also, if you try to call the pharmacy number, it will just ring and ring without anyone ever picking up. So you can't even check to see if your prescription is ready beforehand, you have to drive there, wait in line to ask about it, be told it's not ready and come back later, then come back and wait in line again and hope that it's ready. Clearly needs some serious changes in management or staffing.

The worst place to go! I called yesterday and made a complaint only for them to say I can no longer get my medication filled there no more after I pick my meds up ! I get there today any they still wasn’t filled! This is the 4th time I done came down here in two days

Make sure you have a full tank of gas and are prayed up and ready to extend grace before going to the drive thru! Two different times, both of them resulted in lengthy waits. 11/23 is the longest!

Arrived at 8:30 pm with my wife to pick up her prescription. The pharmacist told us it would be 30 minutes. We left at 10:45. We would have been fine returning the next day if they had said it would be over 2 hours. Safe to say we will not be coming back to the pharmacy.Unfortunately, the worst part of the visit was the, who we believe to be the store manager or shift lead, cashing out the pharmacy cash drawers. Walked by my wife and I, along with several other customers with his fly open and something sticking out. Incredibly inappropriate and made my wife and the women sitting next to us incredibly uncomfortable.

A great location for prescriptions. They fill and refill quickly, they are actually accessible via telephone as well. They also have a drive through and the wait, if their is one, is not too bad at all. HOWEVER, I would not get a vaccine here ever again. Notice how unsanitary this location is, absolutely disgusting. Also, the person administrating the vaccine was literally holding 3 different needles, was confused who was first in line. When I got my shot, he took the single solitary needle off the table, (remember he was just holding 3 needles and was confused if I or another person was next, and thus was unsure what vaccine). So while I was given a shot, I have doubts if I even got the correct vaccine. Honestly, he was just too overwhelmed with appointments.

Listed as 24 hours online with a giant "24 hours" sign on the outside of the store, but when you drive up there will be a little note taped to the window saying they are closed. My wife needs her medication.

Don’t even bother trying to call them, you won’t get through. The one time I got through (after being on hold for over an hour, they picked up and hung up immediately before I could even say a word.On more than one occasion the 1st /2nd shift staff told me a medication I needed wasn’t in stock and they had no clue when it would be. When I spoke with Nathan (on 3rd shift) later that night he informed me that medication was in stock and had been all day. The people on 1st and 2nd shift just didn’t bother to look.Look, I get that they’re very busy but it’s your job that you’re getting paid to do…so maybe do that job? I do not understand how they can be THAT bad. Terrible customer service.Worst pharmacy ever. I’m only giving it 1 star for the 1 employee, Nathan, who seems to care about the customer and who actually answers the phone.

Please hire more pharmacy staff and treat them well so they aren’t stressed all the time. The wait time is ridiculous and the customer service terrible. You can’t get through on the phone to save your life. Literally. But I don’t think it is the personnel’s fault. They are doing the best they can with their given circumstances.

The 24 HR store art 2222 Bardstown road is not a 24 hour store anymore. Leastwise not the Pharmacy. There was a major shake up and all the pharmacy staff have had to be replaced. But The people there are trying to make sure that you leave with everything you came to get.They'll answer any questions you have. No, they don't always answer the phone because they are busy helping the person standing in front of them.

My medicine was called in on Tuesday, I went to pick it up on Saturday. Waited in a long line only to be told to go to another counter. Waited in that line, to be told it was not ready. The Tech was very rude and complaining to other workers. Waited the 20 minutes she said for my medicine to be ready. Nearly 2 hours later it’s still not ready. I will be looking for a new pharmacy.

Horrible experience. Kim was very rude. She went out of her way from across the room yelling at me so that she could explain to me how things worked and why my medicine was not ready when in fact, my medicine was ready and they had made a mistake. No apologies from Kim.

Came to pharmacy an hour after prescription was sent. Was told it wasn’t ready and there was people in front of me even though I was at the drive through window. I offered to go to the back of the line and they wouldn’t accommodate. Terrible customer service and ignorant to logic.

I ordered pickup through their website late at night and figured I'd go on and pick it up that night (1:30am). Turns out that they don't do pickup on 3rd shift. A bit annoying but no big deal, the employees were understanding and still tried to help. However, when I went to get my items the next day, the customer service was fantastic! I got my items quickly and they even gave me an extra $5 on my CVS card for taking two trips. Even though it was more on corporate for listing the store as pickup available, they still went an extra step and helped me out! Only complaint is that when I tried to call, no one answered.
