These guys are so amazing. Every single time I've gone in there for ANYTHING they've gone way above and beyond. Full disclosure, I know jack about home repairs or handiwork and they always patiently walk me through the steps and get me whatever parts I need, and will take back Ant parts I didn't need without any hesitation. You simply cannot do better with any other hardware store in Louisville.

I right my review and I gave negative feedback because the cashier lady was very rude and unprofessional and un respect she treat people ver rude and she is not professional I hope they just move her from the store because the other people in the store all friendly and helpful .

I called and had an item held so I could pick it up. I confirmed they’re open until 6:30 and assured the employee I’d be coming. I arrived at 6:27 and the store was completely closed. Awesome customer service.

Very convenient for hardware supply in the neighborhood when u don’t want to have to go to Lowe’s or Home Depot. Went for some gas line for a concrete saw. They sell it by the foot which is a better deal than the big box stores. Staff is always very helpful and knowledgeable.

I love this store! Not only is it a good store but the personnel are always great as well. They're knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful. They are there to help you with whatever you need. They offer good, sound, constructive advice on whatever project you are working on. And they have no problem helping you save money when possible - even if they don't make a big sell. They are actually there for the customer's needs. Thank you Ace Hardware! You are appreciated!

Didn't have the varnish/ shellac I needed. Needs a dvi to HDMI cord. Gwith help got just the converter piece was happy, totally wrong. Am sad.. Screws were pricy but at least they had what I needed

Nice old school hardware store. I ordered some items that the Ace website showed in stock. Ended up they needed to be sent to the store. The manager kindly refunded one item I need right away, and had to find elsewhere. When I went back to pick up the specific hose I ordered, it was not to be found. But they respectfully fulfilled the order with a different (better) item of the same dimensions at no added cost to me.The politeness and the ability to curb side pickup at this store is great. It's always a preference to do business with local small businesses. They seem to manage to keep up with the big box stores pretty well.

Everybody there is nice and helpful. Definitely recommend if u need to go and aren't sure what u need. I only go for air conditioner filters but I know if I need anything else they'll take care of me.

Its convenient because it's in the neighborhood. But their price are 25% higher, do not stock a lot of common things, and the store can look unkept at times. However, the workers are the friendliest people you will ever meet and they will do their absolute best to help you.

Didn't know the store was closing and came in to get a few item, clerk had know idea about the item I was looking for and then proceeded to show me items that had the highest mark up. I As I went to check out out I informed the cashier that I was basically ask to get out although I had more shopping to do the person that was helping me walked by and began shaking his head as if I was lieing. I then informed the clerk to cancel my purchase. I 'll never shop at that location again..

I was at this location Sunday November 21 2020. Bought some plumbing material. Wrong size came back to return or exchange also needing other material for the job. Had my receipt but not the package. Manager, was extremely rude and decided not to allow me to return the items. I still bought the other items I needed and returned once more time that day. I felt degraded as I'm sure the cashier did too, after the manager said she didn't matter because he was the manager.... Yes I could have went somewhere else. This was a rentle house and time was important. I have some fault too. But his manners were not manager material. Good day to all.

I went into this location today, there were two employees outside smoking. Upon entering the store I saw two guys that were talking. I guess their conversation was more important than greeting the customer. I waited ten minutes to be assisted with getting a key made, the older Lady outside saw me waiting because the door was openShe kept smoking as if she didn't see me, I left! She had the nerve to say" have a good day" really? Needless to say I won't be back!!! I've also noticed how the owner response to the positive reviews vs the negatives. Silence is golden!!!

The staff at this store always help so much! Unlike the big box stores, they are eager and knowledgable and more than willing to help you figure out just about anything. I'd much rather go here than Lowe's or home Depot because I get in and out faster and with more accuracy.

I am so happy that you guys have opened in our neighborhood! The staff, all that I've dealt with, are extremely helpful and very knowledgeable! They never make me feel "stupid" when I ask a question any first grader would probably know! All the employs ROCK!

These guys have been there for my dad and I since 2016 through all of our home remodeling projects. They have always gone above and beyond to make sure we had what we needed. When a post hole digger broke, they fixed it. When we opened a shark bite fitting, but had to take it back, they swapped it out. The big bearded guy especially has even taken the time to get to know us on more than just a first name basis (says the guy who is drawing a blank on his name) long story short, this Ace location is the bees knee .

Good variety of stuff and helpful customer service, but some of staff will give you incorrect answers if you ask advice on projects/materials. Stick to googling what you need to get and picking it up here.
