The staff are unprofessional they called my dog a crack head. As someone who has worked previously in this field for 10 years I do know that is not something you tell a customer. I was a regular and scheduled every 2 weeks to maintain her coat. She came home matted tail, nails not clipped, dirty ears and her hair had baby powder textured. She also has long hair left all over her body and curly coat as you can see in pictures. This is the day she came home and what she looked like. I do not recommend.

Very friendly. It's hard sometimes to get an appointment as they're always overbooked. They have the ability to do well with animals. The bay is open show that you can see your Being taken care of

Dapper Doodle is an awesome place with awesome people working there! Its a huge place not just for grooming but for running and playing with their doggie day care. This company has it all and the love of animals to go along with it! I love it and feel very secure in leaving my babies with them. Try Dapper Doodle! You won't be disappointed!!!!!!

I love Dapper Doodle! I drive from Kenova to Louisa to get my pets groomed there. They're always kind, quick, professional, and their prices are the best that I've seen in the tristate area. I also like the online scheduling feature. They groom my Doodle and my CAT! Grateful for their work!

If only 0 stars was a thing! I do not recommend Dapper Doodle. One of the dogs in my family was taken up there for a simple nail trim to be muzzled for no reason. When my sister asked why she was being muzzled or if she was acting aggressive/biting (which she has no history of) the groomer replied with "Not yet girl". Let me add, this dog is a pit bull. A two year old spayed, non aggressive pit bull with no history of such. She was a repeat client and for whatever reason they chose to muzzle her. We in my family feel that our dog has been mistreated and judged because of her breed and NOT because of her actual temperament. I called Dapper Doodle today to ask what happened or what the typical process was and the girl that originally answered the phone, Breanna told me that dogs typically are not muzzled and are only muzzled when they have to be. So I asked, why was our dog muzzled then? She didn't have an answer for that one. She offered to transfer me to the owner which I agreed, but then he did not pick up for 5+ minutes after being transferred so I had to call back and met the voicemail a few times before finally I was connected. The owner claims that they sometimes put muzzles on dogs that they do not know very well or for safety around bigger dogs. I repeated that she had been there before and was a repeat client for a simple nail trim. He considers anything larger than 40 pounds to be a big dog btw. I'm curious, do all 40+ pound dogs get muzzled or just the pit bulls? He did say that he typically is more worrisome of Labs and German Shepherds. Do they muzzle those dogs when they show no sign of aggression? The owner also expressed that they reserve the right to do so when they feel the dog is nervous, but couldn't tell me a for sure reason as to why Dixie was muzzled. Hint: There was no reason and they did it because she is a pit bull. Seems like their groomers may need a little bit more training on handling larger dogs. Dixie did not deserve to be muzzled. She did not fight having the muzzle put on or having her nails clipped. She was a repeat client but will never be back. Shame on you, Dapper Doodle for bullying our breed.

The girls were awesome! Sugarcookie is very anxious and they worked with her so well. She looked so cute when they got through with her! We will be using them again.
