I’d like to say I really really appreciate the help from Byron Woods in my recent purchases of a commode and plumbing items. He appeared very busy when I asked for assistance as he was pulling a load of various items. However he took time to load the heavy commode for me and even helped me to the car after I paid. This young man is a big asset to the Lowe’s of London. It’s people like him that keep customers returning. Thanks young man for your courteous service.

Went in to purchase a new electric stove , only store near Somerset that had one in stock, associate was very helpful and purchase was made.The disappointment that I have is finding out that Lowe's will no longer stock appliances Only display items will be in the store and they via a third party will deliver to your home or place of business, if there are damages you may have to take the damaged product and fight with Lowe's to get it fixed or replaced taking even more time.In my opinion this is a bad practice for the consumer.

Sold me a defective refrigerator. Would do absolutely nothing to help since it had been over 48 hours. If i would have known I only had 48 hours to return, I would have never bought it. Very disappointed in Lowe's.

Update (11/23/2023): Had to pay someone privately to pick up wood that the delivery team failed to pick up on 11/14/2023, 11/21/2023, and 11/22/2023. I was refunded $21 for the initial delivery fee for my order but that doesn't cover the $40 it cost me to hire someone.Three stars for the sweet older lady cashier that works up front and has been so sweet to me the past few times I have come through for smaller purchases.-5 Stars for the Head Cashier that acts like she's allergic to your service dog. That is harassment she shouldn't be working somewhere that triggers her allergies so bad. She is really opening up Lowe's to liability there. Her managers say she's allergic to everything as if that excuses her bad behavior. (Do you guys even have an EpiPen ready if she's really that bad?)To the other departments: Grow some professionality and stop dropping sales and wasting people's time or playing favorites with regulars that are simpler to help. If there's an issue document it and go up your chain of command to solve the issue even anonymously. Don't give a customer an excuse and then just drop them like they are trash. You are wasting people's time when our options are limited to stores like yours. This is rural Eastern Kentucky so value everyone that's in your store and follow up please.

Ok so me and my fiance wanted a set of patio chairs they had on the floor they told us that they was not getting anymore in stock and no other lowes around had them in stock so we ask to buy the display models the department manager which was about 12 told us he was not allowed to sell them to us so then he told us they was in stock at LaFollette lowes so we drove a hour to get them to find out they was not in stock at lafollette lowes so we told them what the douchebag in London said so they called the store assistant manager at the London Lowe’s and ask if they could sell us the display models and what do u know they did so we drove a hour back to London and bought the displays the douchebag kid could of ask his store manager like we wanted and would saved me and my pregnant fiance over 2 hours of drive time and gas id love to see that kid fired !!!!!! Totally unprofessional in every way

After ordering over a $300 order online and then going into the store and spending over $100 more dollars with this store in London I am highly disappointed with the way my husband and I were treated! We waited for almost an hour for someone to finally assist us! A man named Baptist finally helped us after first telling us he'd would get the women who worked in the tool section. We waited and waited as she just walked around the store on her phone not even acknowledging ANY of the customers in the store! Another women finally asked if we needed help ONLY to tell us she would again get the same woman who worked the tool department where we needed help. Still the woman continued to walk around on her phone. The man finally came back and asked if we had ever been helped which we had not so he went to the womam whos department we were in amd finally told her directly that we needed her help. She got off of her phone annoyed and was very rude. Cut my husband off from asking any questions and just asked what register we wanted to check out at and proceed to just be very short. Definitely not customer service friendly!!!! After spending that much money you'd think we would at least been told thank you for shopping or to have a good day smh. The cashier Rose wasv however very helpful, informative ands sweet and helpful! Do better Lowe's on keavy road!!!! This was unacceptable!

Took 3 days to deliver a one day delivery, sent me the wrong wire panels that were covered in rust,and did not answer the phone when I tried to call. Terrible service, would not recommend using them for delivery of goods.

I give the garden center 2 stars the rest of the store 5 stars. They are pretty helpful in trying to help you find something. There were to many root routes plants for my taste. Some plants don't want that much water. Or to set in it for that long. Some love water some love the proper drainage.

Went for a certain tool box. I am handicap so I called to make sure they had them well I get there after being told they have them only to find out they are out. So I called Corning and Corbin tells me that they haven’t even been released in their store or the London store.

Most of the wood stacks aren't priced. It's a guess on how much you are going to pay at the register. I compare this Lowe's to a bad dollar general. I only go when absolutely have to. Pay more at local lumber yard but it's worth it compared to here.

I just missed the old days when people were working there. The hassle to find a person who can make a key is about a 45-minute wait. PEOPLE DON'T CARE ANYMORE. It is fastly becoming a Walmart.

Went to pick up building materials that should have been delivered but were rescheduled 4 times. Communication was almost non-existent. I waited at home all day and evening (8-8 is delivery time) and called to check on my order which had been rescheduled for the 3rd time. I was promised delivery the next day and then rescheduled again without any communication from the store.

I worked there for 7 months. I gave in my 2 weeks notice and that same day I did I got fired. Advise for those wanting to work there: if they aren't going to give you a 2 weeks notice to be fired, don't give a 2 weeks notice to quit. They also paid the new employees more than the ones that have been there for a while. Very uncool. I loved working there and I loved the environment but I hated the management ( they were a pain in the a** to work with). Honestly I feel they should put a home depot near by to add more competition and better the management.

If you want hard to find hardware this is the place to go all the little hardware stores can't have everything. Lowe's can. Also you can order a head and get curb side pickup because Laurel county is in red zone, delivery to you car with mask on, they will load car, and on your way less than 5 minutes. You will need mobile phone # on curbside pick sign. HOWEVER , even though they treated me good and was helpful you can have bad experience. Long story short water heater, went bad and went there for new one 2 water heater, later and 6 days and $ 1500.00 later have hot water.

Friendly and helpful employees with the exception of a woman/man look alike that wants to argue with the customers, while she spits her tobacco on the floor! However, I can't let her ruin the reviews I give this business! Pickup took over 20 minutes after I checked in! The order was ready last night according to the email! That was not true because employees had to go get it off the shelves after acknowledging that I was there! I could have walked in there and got what I needed, loaded up and gone within 10 minutes but Pickup was supposed to be quicker! Fix the employee and customer service relations and improve the pickup time performance from employees is my only suggestion! I'll update this review once I see the improvement!

We built a new house and the builder picked up a gas fireplace for our living room. This was in Oct 2020 by Jan it wasn’t working. The manufacturer replaced the receiver but still didn’t work. Because it was still under warranty Lowes replaced it. It still doesn’t work. Again receiver was replaced as well as the remote. Doesn’t work. The model was discontinued so Lowes won’t repair or replace it.

People here are very friendly, not hard to find someone to help load a heavy item in a truck (even other shoppers in the parking lot often offer to help). I think this place has a moral aversion to gathering shopping carts from the parking lot…come anywhere near the end of the day and you can expect to have to turn around and walk right back out to the parking lot to get a cart in lumber if you forgot to grab one. Also be prepared to move about 10 sheets of bad drywall to get to good stuff…I’m not sure why they keep a pile of bad drywall on top and not just get rid of it, no one is going to buy sheets that look like they have been gouged by a forklift. Overall good place, good people, just a bit lax on running a tight ship.

Some older dude in plumbing was the rudest guy ever. Another employee got him for me when I needed help finding parts. The employee said “let me get ________ for you, he knows all about plumbing fittings.” I had some pictures from the website of stuff that I needed. He was the most rude ever. He was aggravated that I needed help. He was aggravated and showed me the parts after he found them and explained in a rude way what they were like I should have already known what they were. He asked me for part number on one. I read a number on the website pic of the part. He pointed on my phone at the right number and was very rude and tried to make me feel bad cause I didn’t know where the part number was.I work customer service my whole life and still do. I don’t know what was wrong with him cause even on my worst day, I still treat customers with respect.Since then, I go to tractor supply if they offer it before Lowe’s. Everyone at tractor supply have been helpful and nice. It’s like I understand people have bad days and can be a little aggravated or stand-offish but this was unreal service. The worst I’ve ever been treated and I’m in my forties. We are building a house so Lowe’s can thank that employee for losing quite a bit of business.

Been doing a lot of home improvement lately. If you need it lowes probably has what you looking for. I recently remodeled kitchen countertops refinishing cabinets and this fall Im finishing off upper and lower back deck. But her lately I've been buying All of my treated lumber at 84 lumber . Have saved alot of money. There selection of building material is cheeper. They may not have what you need. But if they do it will usually be cheeper. Call ahead for a quote. If you need a tractor, sink, plumbing, ect. ect. Go to lowes.

Worst place ever!! My grandmother ordered an oven from here and when it was delivered and taken out of the box the back was dented and the glass in the front was shattered. This is the 2nd oven she has had to replace from Lowe’s after the first one lasted a week and blew up

Lowe's has a poor website design that often pulls up items with a bin location when available at my Lowe's is checked. Often times they really don't have said item. At the bottom of the webpage it did say on the last such item not available for pickup. I took this to mean cannot order online then go pickup. I tried to tell customer service rep website was confusing and should be changed. She kept cutting me off and pointed at my phone "It says right here not available for pickup" "We don't stock it" Etc etc, Constantly repeating what I already know. The point was it should not have pulled item up as available in the first place.I will drive 10 miles out of my way to go to the one in Corbin from now on. It's also too bad Lowe's has a monopoly on home improvement in this region.
