Horribly overpriced and disgusting how they can charge almost $6.00 or more on many items than a typical grocery store. They should be ashamed for their poor customer service and meanness towards senior citizens on a fixed budget or the lower income of Liberty. They have prices that are far higher than what the should be and they do it because they know many can’t drive to cheaper options. They post a sale paper weekly but, almost every resident knows that when you leave they have almost always charged you the regular price not the sale price and when you question them they have some smart mouthed teenager say “we are short handed we can’t always change the system and prices to match” that is just a poor excuse from poor management. If Liberty would move from the old school thinking and start caring for their residents then competition could be brought in and give a fair chance to everyone. Those local officials who will keep getting voted in partly due to corruption can afford to pay the high prices but the average resident can’t and how this has been allowed to happen is sad and a total injustice.

Extremely overpriced. Before anyone says anything I e shopped at every IGA in the surrounding area and not seen such ridiculous pricing. I will say that it is always clean, well stocked and attentive to customers eeds other than PRICE. Some things are double what they are elsewhere. Other than that they have a friendly staff and good selection.

IGA has a good selection for a quick pick up. It's not good for stocking the pantry because their prices are so high. For more than a few items, it would be less expensive to drive to Danville or Somerset.

A scathing review…Overpriced is an understatement, deli fresh is an overstatement… If you like stale bakery goods and you’re a millionaire well you know where to go. The pros are very clean store and good selection for a small town, but at the end of the day I personally feel that they are capitalizing on being one of the only grocery stores in a very small town. Which is no good for anyone.. except for them. Also, You can google IGA and see that it is one of the MOST EXPENSIVE grocery stores to shop at. It’s not worth folks. Get more bang for your buck up the road at save a lot.IGA….It’s God Awful!!!!

First time I've ever been in this store at this location he was very clean, a lot of products to offer.. a little pricey but okay considering. People very friendly here at the store especially the checkout clerk.

The employees were not friendly at all, and offered no help. I had to chase them down and then they acted aggravated that they had to answer a question for me. The grocery prices were SKY HIGH! I will NEVER go back! I don't have a single good experience from either side of this establishment. Sad.

Nice selection of grocery items but some items are very expensive. It's nice to have Ace Hardware built in. Here's my gripe, it says on Google that you are open till 10 but you actually close at 9. That may not be your fault totally but please look into changing it. And my biggest problem is one of the managers is rude and cocky acting. That drives people away from your store when they have to deal with someone like that.

Advertised price on propane tank trade in was a dollar less than what I was charged. Requested the clerk advise mgmt to change signage. 3 days later it hadn't been. I should've demanded a sale at listed price!

We just moved to Kentucky, and loving it by the way. But we had checked meat prices in Danville, and they were rather high, we got a flier from IGA in Liberty and tried it yesterday. Wow, were w amazed. They had boneless ribeye roast for $4.99 lb. We got a large one, and Billy, the super butcher, cut it into steaks for us. We got home, had 16 ribeye steaks, very nice size, for less than $55.00. We could not be happier, and Billy was such a nice guy and we really enjoyed meeting him. We will be back, and it is also closer to us than Danville, winner all the way around! Thank you Billy for the great service and info.

IGA in Liberty is a nice store. Friendly staff, low prices and they offer more than most of the traditional IGA stores. ACE hardware is integrated into the store so not only can you buy groceries there but your hardware needs as well. The deli is worth a look too, lots of variety when it comes to cold cuts, cheese and goodies from the bakery. Very clean store and convenient location right off of highway 27 in Liberty Kentucky.They also offer gas at reasonable prices.
