Every time I shop here, the staff are so friendly. Today they helped me get a new ID tag for my dog and I found some great treats for my dog at a reasonable price. My dog loved his treats (duck neck and Himalayan cheese that comes in popcorn looking bag)! Definitely come here if you are looking for a friendly, clean place to shop!

They have such cute and different dog treats and items! We love their dog cookies and cakes. Oakley loved her cake for her 5th birthday, and all her doggie friends loved their birthday pawty treats too!

I absolutely love this store!!!! It's not very big but they have a large variety of unique items that you won't find at other pet stores. I love finding cute unique collars for my goldendoodle and this place has possibly the best selection of collars I've found! I will be coming back soon and often :)

We Love Southern Barker! Not only is it precious with the cutest of everything pet related, the staff is always so friendly, kind and attentive. We love the dog daycare and our Barley loves all of his friends there too. He received his first big boy cut this week, and Raven did an AMAZING job. I can’t say enough great things about Southern Barker. We love to support locally owned businesses too, added bonus!

Friendly staff, a variety of treats, toys, clothing, leashes, collars, and harnesses. They have a decent selection of chews and a biscuit bar. This is the smaller of two locations. They have a loyalty program for kibble. Once in a blue moon they are out of something, but this is still my go to for Fromm and fancy dog treats. Parking is the only issue because of the UPS next door.

I reached out to the Southern Barker to see what clothing they had in stock to fit our new pup. They were incredibly helpful and responsive. When they learned we were shopping because our dog needs to wear clothes due to scars from past abuse, they even put together a huge gift bag for her. Not only is the store adorable with tons of cute items and treats, but it’s clear to me the owner truly cares about animals and has heart for what she does. We will absolutely be back to support this local business. ❤️

This place is amazing! The staff is so friendly and takes the time to listen to your concerns and answer any questions. Most importantly…my boy Goldendoodle has been loved on! He is happy when he leaves and excited to go back! Day play at Barker University left him worn out. 😊

I have a bag of Southern Barker healthy treats for our grand puppy at her parent’s home our ours. I’m a grandparent and it is hard not to give treats! I feel so much better giving the healthy treats and she LOVES them!

Leslie, Sarah and Savannah are the best in making sure my Yorkie gets the right nutrition. Savannah was super helpful and knowledgeable tonight to help me pick the right bone broth. A new treat I picked up for my Sparky is frozen chicken feet. Next will be the cats turn for better nutrition since their cat selection is growing. She too already loves the treats we buy her from Southern Barker and Sparky is spoiled with the barker bar treats, made it in time for the happy hour discount.

Southern Barker is by far the best place to get anything cute for your pampered pup! They always have a smiling face to greet you and help with anything you may need. They are the only place I shop for my dog!

Was there for the open house on Sat with my wife and our pup. Got pics with Santa and purchased a few items. I went back on Sunday to grab a few things for Christmas that my wife had liked but the store never opened. The hours on the window and website stated that they open at 1. I sat there till 1:10 and nobody ever showed up to open the place. Not great business, especially for Day 3 of being open. With traffic this time of year and all the other Lex madness, who knows if I'll get over there again.

Love everything about this store with one exception. The posted hours are 11-7 Monday-Friday. This is the third time I have come by between 630-640 in the past 6 weeks to pick something up and it’s closed. It’s extremely frustrating.
