The store's name is misleading; nothing in this place is cheap. HOWEVER, that's because all of their products are high quality, and worth the money if you can afford it. Their dog wash is very convenient, and is always kept clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful.Giving 4 stars, since I really wish they had a better selection of cat products (especially cat toys). This place definitely caters to dogs first. (so if you only own dogs, bump this rating up to 5/5 )

We walked in this store this morning while waiting for our table and Wild Eggs. My son has been begging for a cat forever and we have just decided recently that we would let him get one. He saw an older kitty from the window and wanted to go in and hold it. When we walked in, I asked the girl that was standing there if he could hold the cat. Mind you, this is a 7year old cat...probably not the kind of cat a lot of people would even consider adopting. She was clearly irritated I even asked. She says," Are you serious about adopting? If not, you aren't allowed to hold her." I told her yes I am absolutely serious about adopting but that we would NOT consider adopting from a place that acts this way to potential customers. Clearly they care nothing about customer service or finding good homes for these animals. Wish I had gotten this girls name because she was so rude. She said it is "company policy" to not allow people to hold pets if they aren't ready to adopt. Not sure how anyone would know which cat they would want to adopt without at minimum holding the cat first. Pet Valu- you need to step up your customer service training for your employees and teach them how to talk to people and be respectful rather than rude.

Fantastic pet store. They only carry the best stuff! Tons and tons of high quality cat food and litter. I don't have a dog but I can assume all the dog products are just as good as the cat ones!

I love the self serve pet bath. They supply shampoo and towels. Nice not to clog my drain up and scrape dog hair off my walls! Very friendly staff.

I'm from out of town and wanted to give my dog a bath. The hours say 9-9, I was here at 9. Now 40 mins later they still aren't open ! Thought the bathing area was a great idea. Not anymore. You need to be on time for job. So sorry but I left. What a waste off my time. Not impressed!!!

Very knowledgeable staff and an unbelievable assortment of food, toys and accessories. They also have a self-serve bath with various sizes of tiled bathtubs they also Supply towels and shampoo or you can bring your own pretty awesome if you ask me.

HORRIBLE I was going to get this adorable kitten named Julian and the morning I saw him they weren't open so I called as soon as they opened and they said the would put my kitten on hold till I could get there. Then I make one more phone to find out when they close and the best time to come pick him up and when I call oh we are sorry but a family came in and wanted him so they adopted him. LIKE ARE YOU KIDDING ME. JUST DONT GO HERE THE PEOPLE WHO WORK HERE ARE UNTRUSTWORTHY update : we actually ended up getting a cat named kate and we love her and they were much better the 2nd time around and also the store is very high quality.
