Pet market is the best place in Lexington I have ever been I take my baby Rosalie there and she is treated like a queen but everybody in the store. Bryan helps me find things that she will eat and helps me find her toys and all of her needs as far as Even installing her car seat I could not have a better recommendation for anybody than to go see the folks at pet market,

I bought a parakeet from them on January 21st. He passed away the night before last, just barely past their 15 day health guarantee. I didn't even bother calling to see if they could do anything because the employee made it clear to me when I bought him that if he died I would have to return him, and I could not have the body back. I told her that was so messed up. They may not see it this way or understand, but he was a living intelligent and loving creature and when I get an animal, they are FAMILY. Now I'm out $240 between the cost of him and his cremation (not gonna even count the things I bought for him), and I'm devastated from the loss of him. I loved him so much and got him to help me grieve. He helped for a while until he passed away and now everything is just so much worse. Rest in Peace my sweet baby. The staff was so sweet to us. allowed me and my friends to hold some bunnies and just relax for a while. as a college student I really appreciate that. The owner has so many pictures that he will share. I highly recommend coming here for a great experience. provided our friend with a service dog in training a bag of fresh treats. absolutely amazing

I had just gotten a puppy corgi Friday before walking in and needing help with getting her supplies. Natalie was very helpful and saw I clearly needed help with knowing what to get. She helped me with deciding my corgi peed and the other lady working there grabbed a mop and cleaned it right away. She even made me feel better when my dog got loose while my daughter was walking her and let me know it happens all the time. Natalie signed me up for the rewards program. If I'm in the area again I will come back here.

Whole staff is extremely helpful, especially those in the fish department. Just spoke to Bryan today who was a wealth of knowledge, and definitely made my time there worth it. Will continue to get all my fish supplies and fish from here!

I went here to find my regular cat food which is Purina instinct and the gentleman asked me to try Origen cat food it's locally made and my cats love it and they are much more active and eat less.

I was back in this store yesterday and it was a refreshing site. In the past, this store was cluttered and not so clean but today it was very clean and organized. I was able to meet the manager Byran and that was a great experience as well. I will be back.

Super nice people, you will get all the help you need and what I like the most is that if you ask for their opinion in a project that you can be doing, they will give you different options before they even try to sell you anything.Personally, that is what makes me wanted to come back to that store and buy anything I need from them.

Aquariums did not look well maintained with several dead fish and cloudy water. The worker told me they recently treated for Ich, which I appreciated. I also tried to buy a specimen container, but it was $28, which I passed on to buy much cheaper at Feeders or on Amazon.

This place was great! The animals seemed to have comfortable room to live in. I was able to buy the aquatic plants I wanted and ended up buying some snails as well that were very affordable. And the aquariums seem reasonably priced as well. I bought a 5 gallon today. The store associate answered all our questions and helped us get exactly what we needed. Very helpful.

I am a new fish owner who is trying to set up a new tank. So I have no knowledge about fish or their habitats or really anything I’m supposed to do lol I’ve had a bad experience with two other pet stores with fish dying and the ammonia level in my tank, being too high until I walked into the supermarket pet store today I was greeted, and I brought my water in for testing an the gentleman that helped me was very sweet and very kind and knew his knowledge about the aquariums. He tested my water for me and made sure that the chlorine levels and everything looked good but I still had a high ammonia level and recommended for me to get a live plant in my tank to help balance it as well as help give the fish hiding places to reduce stress I cannot tell you how thankful I am for how kind and considerate he was. I wish I would’ve gotten his name but he had long hair so if you go and look for him It’s very nice to know I can go to a pet store that’s very knowledgeable about aquatic life to help a new beginner try to set up a new tank would totally recommend if you were a person trying to start up an aquarium but don’t know how to go to this pet store!

Walked around the store to check it out and maybe purchase supplies and/or pets. Never spoke to anyone. Tried looking at the fish, but halfway down the aisle was a a bald man with a beard and glasses just staring at an aquarium. I assume he was doing inventory. He had a ladder in the way and as I worked my way he down he made no attempt to excuse himself or move out of the way so I just left….

Went in there a couple days ago with my pup and Brian (I assume management) helped me out with a new dry kibble and treats for my fur baby! I pay very close attention to my dog's diet and mostly cook his food to make sure he isn't eating icky stuff and allergens (chicken). Came in looking for a specific brand but after talking with Brian he recommended Orijen. He was so knowledgeable about the company, practices and ingredients that I felt really good about purchasing. When I gave some to my dog, he actually ASKED me for more... this is weird for my Walker. He is a food snob and isn't really food motivated by dry kibble, but this stuff? Wow. My dog actually knows the difference between organic and non-organic food, better cuts, less processed, ect (yes, I've done many side-by-sides for him and he ALWAYS prefers the good stuff, so if Walker approves, it's high quality!) Brian also gave my dog a sample of a savory beef liver snack my dog went as crazy for as he usually does toys! They will price match anything, so if you find a better price, just show them and you can still get your points! I will absolutely come back here! Thank you, Brian, for you fantastic customer service and knowledge! I always appreciate having an expert to go to and at this point, I have no doubt. Walker backed up every word of what you said!

My family went to Pet Supermarket to add some fish to the family. The store does an outstanding job for cleanliness. Many pet stores have an odor to them but this store stand above the rest in being very clean. The staff was also very helpful in helping us find the fish and tank that would best suit our needs. They were able to instruct us about the fishes care and helped us make a choice that was sensible for our family. We will definitely shop here again.

Best customer service I have had in a long time. I didn't get her name, it is July 5th 2:15, I bet I called her 4 different times for her help. She was wonderful! I will be shopping at Pet Supermarket from now on. I gave my pekingese a bath, got water in one of his ears, and my vet is closed today. I couldn't thank her enough. Pet Supermarket you have one happy customer!!!

What an absolutely amazing pet supply store! My daughter introduced me to it because she gets all the food and treats for her service dog here and now I am sold on the place too. The manager was super friendly and very helpful. My miniature dachshund is soooooo picky when it comes to treats but they helped me find the perfect ones with very specific ingredients. And the prices are very reasonable for the high quality products they carry!

Bryan is AMAZING!! I brought my nanny baby in to watch the fish (he loves fish) and Bryan gave us an absolutely amazing experience! We got to pet a ferret, watch him feed the lizards and frogs, pet bunnies, etc. my nanny baby talked about it all day, we didn’t even have to ask! He was phenomenal.

I just started my first fish tank so I've been to every store in town. This one has the best selection and actually gives knowledgeable advice. Petsmart told me all I needed was quick start to make a tank safe.. glad I didn't listen and came here instead.

Every time I go here for pet supplies, the staff greets me. They are helpful when I need to find something - I started fostering kittens 2 years ago and needed a crash course in kitten supplies! Their prices are equal to other area stores, and they have a great array of pet food. Excellent place to get food, toys, and other supplies to make our pets happy and healthy!

This store is wonderful. They support local rescues and they have been so compassionate about my elderly sick dog. I cried on the manager when I needed help finding what I needed for her. He took me in stride and found exactly what I needed. Now when I go in, I'm recognized and asked about my old girl. This is definitely my pet store.
