We got our Australian Shepard/Great Pyrenees groomed at this location. The drop off was quick and easy and the staff was friendly and professional. They work on multiple dogs at a time so we didn’t receive a time window for pick up. Overall, he was there 2.5 hours which is better than some other competitors we have used in the past. They did a great job on the cut. We will use their services in the future.

We were fortunate enough to meet Holly, the owner back in 2021 right before our wedding when I realized I had forgotten one of the most important tasks. Getting our dogs (that were in the wedding) groomed with only days to go. I reached out to every single business in Lexington and surrounding counties. Holly was the only person who was kind enough to help fix my mistake. She came in on her only day off and groomed all 3 of my dogs (1 medium mixed breed and 2 large German shepherds). Without her, my wedding day wouldn’t have been complete and I can’t thank her enough for that. Her and her staff always do a great job during our regular groomings as well. There’s never an issue with drop off or pick up. The facility is very clean. Our shepherds both have extremely different personalities. One is very laid back and the other is very anxious/nervous. It says a lot that our anxious shepherd is comfortable with Holly and her staff. We’ve been with them for 3 years now and don’t plan on using anyone else. It’s always so good to see the owner’s little dogs in the shop as well. The owner is genuinely passionate about caring for dogs and it shows through her work.

This is the first time I've ever taken Smudge to get groomed. He was so scared to walk in because of the blow dryers but the owner literally came to the door gave him treats and back rubs and before I knew it he was inside forgetting all about what was going on in the background. They were so great to my Smudgie and he looks soo good! So thank you so much for treating him like he was yours! If you're looking for a place to pamper your dog this is it!!! My girl Gracie, a Great Pyrenees, was so much more comfortable in last summer’s heat and humidity thanks to Mutt Cutt’s groomers. They knew just was to do with her breed. We are going to do that same thing this year. Even though I live nearly an hour away, I wouldn’t take Gracie anywhere else.

I’ve been trying to find a good groomer in lexington for months and Mutt Cutts is amazing! Moose absolutely loved his spa day and the staff were amazing!! I am always fearful of what he will look like when I pick him up from a new place but his haircut is exactly what I asked for! I was even able to schedule his next appointment before I left!!

It's been a while since I took my Saint Bernard here. I'm looking for a groomer and this one popped up. I started reading some of the bad reviews and it seems like this is a trend here at Mutt Cutts. I took my Saint to mutt Cutts about 18 months ago. Dropped her off at 2 and at 8 hadn't heard a thing, I call give us til 9, we aren't done. At 930 I called and said I'm on my way. I pull up and park. I watch through the window at two of the women working there talking to a customer. My 140lb Saint and another dog were standing on a table alone. I ended up having to take my dog to have emergency surgery for bloat that night. I belive with all my heart she got so upset and jumping to get away from them or she fell of the table and it caused her stomach to flip. She almost died.

It was Oskar’s first time at Mutt Cutts and he looks so good. Oskar sheds a lot and after his appointment, he was so fluffy, soft and barely any hair came off of him. The staff there was so nice and treated Oskar very well. I really loved the aesthetics and atmosphere of the salon. 10/10 would recommend

My daughter has been taking her Bernedoodle to holly for 2 years! The first time he went was because another groomer had cancelled on us. She was super accommodating and got him in quickly! My daughter will not take Kylo anywhere else due to the love he receives with Holly and her team! He loves his spa days! Holly is so hands on with her clients and shows them so much love! He gets so excited to go and knows when we are getting close to the shop!

Holly has taken care of my babies ever since they’ve been old enough to come and see her! She takes her time to make sure they have a great experience and nothing to traumatize their idea of a groomer. If one of my dogs is having a bad day, she will make sure they are comfortable and relaxed before she proceeds. Mutts Cutts makes sure that my doggos are well taken care of and looking FRESH.

I did not use their grooming services. Their company driver/owner/ whoever it was driving the company vehicle a white dodge suv was tailgating me and driving very erratically. Not sure if they were distracted or drunk but it was very dangerous

Holly and Mandy took care of Gus so well. He is older now and does not like water, baths, clippers, etc. But with Mutt Cutts he is fine during the entire grooming process and I can tell he feels like a new man strutting around the house with his new bandana.

I’ve been bringing my pup to mutt cutts for a long time. My dog always is happy to walk through the door and leaves looking like a show dog. Holly is by far the best! Elli has been going there for a little over a year, ever since she was a small pup, and always gets so excited when we drop her off! We LOVE!!!! Mutts Cutts. Holly and her whole team are so great and take care of our fur baby so well. He doesn't like getting in the car and will try to hide in his crate - until I say "We're going to Mutts Cutts" - then he runs out and is ready for the ride. They also do such a great job and have really reasonable prices. Can't say enough good things about this place.

Perhaps the nicest grooming shop in Lexington! The team is SO nice and accommodating and do an excellent job! Holly (the owner) even gave me some tips on how to take better care of Bella's nails. Really a great experience and everyone there is so happy and fun!

I haven’t been this happy with my 11 year old labradoodles cut in a very long time! I’m so glad a friend told me about Mutt Cutts! Holly was his groomer today and she did an absolute beautiful job! Even better, he didn’t have to spend an entire day locked in a kennel. His appointment was at 2pm and 3.5 hours later I was picking him up. I booked online from their website and it was super easy and efficient. After many failed attempts with groomers in Lexington I’ve finally found THE one. Thanks Mutt Cutts!

I’ve always been leery of taking my dogs to groomers, but Holly put my mind at ease and I am so glad I found a dog groomer that I trust and know will take good care of my fur babies and make them look beautiful! IT IS HORRIBLE AND THEY CANT UNDO IT. They completely shaved my Tibetan Mastiff. He has always had a lion cut with mane. My dog is also old and has a giant tumor that is un operable on his chest and side. Tumor is big and sore. His leg is sore. I told them he was sore today and to clip him and stop around that tumor at his front legs to leave mane over his shoulders and back of neck. I said cut short everywhere but Leave his mane. Clip his chest and throat but leave mane. I said how upsetting it has been but my dog was hanging in there with his health. I drop him off at 9am. Go to shop at 3 and God I should of taken him then. They said they weren't done. When I go back at 5:30 the owner is gone and she totally had him shaved. This was to be his feel good treat for my dog. Special times before letting him go this winter.Now his full tumors are shaved and you can't unsee them. very difficult to look at when I'm loosing my pet. I took him to get pampered which he has liked at this salon in the past. Now he is whining and sore from the hours of torture. She even said she had him crying for hours.The worst experience Now I'm crying. I hope he feels better and can stand up well tomorrow. Plus then they charged $150 for a Chop Shop Job. I could give anyone Clippers to clip my dog and he couldnt look any worse. I WILL NEVER LOOK AT MY BEAUTIFUL TIBETAN MASTIFF MIX AGAIN. HE LOOKS LIKE HE'S SHAVED AND PREPARED FOR HIS EXECUTION. HORRIBLE GIRL.
