My husband and I have been visiting/shopping this pet store for a couple of years now, and it recently has changed ownership. We've since met the new owner, and we were impressed with how friendly they were. We continue to shop here regularly, for our water for our fish aquariums, and all of our other pet needs. Plus, they have a 50% off rack when you walk in!!!

Went to this pet store and saw they had a Skinny Pig or a hairless guinea pig. The skinny pig was a young one and was all black, however the guinea pig was so dry that he looked gray and his skin was flaking off. if you are going to sell or buy hairless animals you should ensure the proper precautions to make sure the animal is healthy and safe. hairless animals need coconut baths to ensure their skins moisture and a bedding that is soft. pet stores should be ethical, get their pets from an ethical source and take care of their animals until they get good homes

We recently got a Bichon/Poodle mix and a few days after we got home, she got very sick. The owner could not have been more kind and understanding. She took care of the situation and our baby girl is all better and doing great!!

Went to Most Valuable Pets today was thinking about picking up some feeder bugs and was appalled at what I saw.These bearded dragons are being housed together without proper UVB and as you can see some of them are losing limbs and are developing metabolic bone disease at JUVENILE AGES. And not even to mention the prices. They were asking $200 for a bearded dragon that is going to need vet care for the rest of its life due to MBD. Why do people still buy from this place? Like honestly…… Why support people who do not even know how to properly take care of animals? And I won’t even show you the picture of the dead toad we saw in their trash can. The place is an absolute mess…. STOP SHOPPING HERE !!!

I love that they have a variety of fish, birds, hamsters, reptiles, dogs, cats, mice and more! However, on some items it was difficult to find prices on their animals and products. I have to admit this is an awesome opportunity for their associates to answer questions and inform you on their inventory and knowledge.We will back to shop because we are a animal loving 👪

I bought my dog from MVP in June of last year. I went in just wanting to look at the black German Shepherd they had on their website but was not expecting to buy. I ended up falling in love with one of the other, sable colored German Shepherd's they had. They were super nice throughout the entire process and gave me the few days I needed to get my home ready for a puppy. Now, he is almost 1 year old and is the sweetest boy ever. He was easy to train, very calm from the day I brought him home, and truly just a very lovable pup. Cannot thank MVP enough for giving me my baby! Here's pics of the day I got him vs. today!

It saddens me to see when a pet store does not properly care for the animals that they have for adoption. Especially with creatures as delicate as rabbits. Rabbits need an unlimited supply of hay for constant GI movement. Pellets do not suffice. There was hay in one enclosure, but not the other. Please improve your care of these animals and educate employees on how to care for them.

We made an appointment for our puppy to have her 1st grooming here. The appointment was for 1 pm; we were told it would probably be 1 to 1 1/2 hour. After 2 hours we checked in. They hadn't even gotten to her. Won't be back.

This was just sad they had dogs in very small cages and the smaller rodents could barely walk around in their cages. definitely not going back. There makes me sick. Just walking in.

I visited this place several times over the last few years when I lived nearby. I went mostly for fish supplies, but I really tried to go elsewhere when I could. No fish I purchased from them lasted very long, despite me previously being able to keep fish for years. It seems they were prone to getting very sick very fast. The conditions of the other animals in the store were usually poor—overcrowded, small cages. The puppies’ conditions are very sad. I have no doubt some animals were sick. The staff were sometimes okay, but sometimes rude and immature. They were not gentle with the fish I bought. I won’t ever be back.

Staff was friendly even though not very knowledgeable about the pets. They offered everything possible to help make sure our pet (a dwarf hamster)would have what's needed for comfort upon it's arrival at its new home and even gave us free treats to try for the dog we have at home. My grandbaby was allowed to hold a bird. The cage we purchased had a broken door and the guy working made sure he replaced it for us. I will definitely go back.

This place will break your heart. The overcrowding of birds, reptiles and small animals is overwhelming. Keeping large fish in a tank too small. Puppies crammed into display cases that look filthy.

My husband and I purchased a Shichon from MVP on Jan 22nd of this year. Her name is Madee Skye! She was born Nov 8th, 2021. The best move we've ever made. Madee was just a little over 2 months when we got her. And look at her now. Would I purchase another pup from MVP? I most certainly would. The smell of the store wasn't pleasant, but we never expected it to smell like a bed of roses. It was a great experience! Thanks MVP!

Bought a cleaner shrimp for my salt water aquarium and they would not return it due to bad salt water but the water they tested was the water that was in the bag when it died wow lawsuit happening

I came in earlier this week and checked out a puppy since I have been in search of one. From the moment I entered the store a million red flags popped up, from the disorganized clutter wall to wall to the staff of 12 year olds I was very concerned about the quality of the store. Not to mention the puppies were extremely dehydrated and way to young to be sold, their gums were white and their puppy teeth weren’t even grown in yet. Not even talking about the EVEN YOUNGER puppies (picture below) they kept in cages behind the front cages. This place is a mess and the only reason I would buy a dog from here would be to save it from these horrible conditions.

We visited MVP while on vacation. I took my kids in to see the pets, and we were so impressed at how clean and well cared for the pets were. Jameson was really great with the kids and educated them on the care of the different animals in the store. 5 stars!! I would definitely recommend them if you want a well cared for pet to add to your family.

Great customer service very friendly pets! This is our Darwin we purchased from MVP in 2018! She is perfect and never had any health problems. We also purchased our bearded dragon ninja this past year who is also in perfect health.

EDIT to reply to owner: I gave you a horrible review because you did nothing about his eye. No one should have been able to go in the next day and see his eye just as horrible as the day before. On top of that your salesperson picked him up by his loin and carried him like that until she put him in a box... which is again horrible. Yes I did tell your salesperson that I was going to put him with my others because he would do just fine but his eye would need taken care of FIRST. I did also refuse to buy the food you supply because the rabbit food you have in the cages is not healthy for them even if you mix it with guinea pig food. Rabbits shound not have dried chunks of fruits or veggies in their food and he was getting put on something that is much better then Oxbow. I love how you assume that people dont actually know what they are doing and dont already have all the supplies. As a business that says their animals get vet checkups you should have known what todo about his eye and that he probably has numerous tumors.DO NOT BUY FROM THIS ESTABLISHMENT!! I went in the other day and saw this poor "rescue" rabbit which the workers claimed was healthy. I went back the next day to buy the poor thing because as a formal reputable rabbit breeder I could not leave a rabbit that needed treatment in the hands of this businesses. When I went back the eye they claimed was gone was still oozing was not cleaned up and looked worst. Along further examination I found not 1, but at least 3 lumps underneath the skin. His eye was cleaned up and given antibiotics. His eye was worst then this picture.

Filthy and over cramped for these poor animals. Do better. Especially at the price you are charging. To edit and add since I’m apparently so VAGUE. your cages are filthy. Your dogs are piled in and cramped. Your store STINKS. And you have multiple complaints of the same thing. Don’t try and act like you don’t know what I am talking about.

It seems they drug their puppies. I go in one day to see happy, energized puppies running around everywhere, then come back the next day to find most puppies dead asleep.. saw a girl holding one, who wasn't able to hold its head up AT ALL. Also, came back to get a dog that was clearly malnourished (extremely white gums, with barely any puppy teeth) that had died within the 24 hours of coming back.If you want your day ruined, this is a great place to stop!
