I loved our doctor who saw Dottie. She was so sweet. I appreciate that the vet AND the techs loved on her and made her feel comfortable. She’s such a scared dog. She’s always very nervous. Yesterday I found your animal clinic. I called and told the office what was going on with June. They said they had a full day but all hands were on deck and to bring her in. I had already tried 4 other Vets!! I was relieved. You took us right in, June was evaluated quickly with bloodwork and X-rays. Then she was hooked up to get fluid because she was dehydrated. You brought in a special ultrasound tech that is in the area to make sure we got the right diagnosis! She found that June had a blockage. You rushed her into surgery! Everyone was so nice. I felt like my baby was in good hands! I can’t thank you all enough! We really appreciate all your hard work! June is home resting!♥️

Dr. Eric Headley far exceeded our expectations of what we were looking for in a veterinarian. We took our 12yo fur baby in to establish new care. My sister is a veterinarian and just recently closed her practice. We were left to start over and was feeling very dreadful to do so. Dr. Headley took our baby’s very extensive history and gave us a plan that exceeded many specialists that we’ve seen along the way. My puppy and I went in for our first visit this week and we like this place. Our vet, Dr. Cooper, was very friendly and provided well-explained, honest information about my doggie's health condition. The staff was also helpful during our visit and took good care of my doggie; he wasn't scare or stressed at all!

I can’t express enough gratitude to the Chevy Chase Animal Clinic for their incredible help when my dog went missing during my vacation. A Good Samaritan found my furry friend near a Speedway gas station and brought him to this amazing clinic.Maggie & Leslie (along with the rest of their staff) went above and beyond to care for my dog during the five days I was away. Their dedication and professionalism were evident from the moment I walked through their doors. They provided a safe and comfortable environment for my dog, ensuring he received the attention, love, and medical care he needed.What impressed me most was their genuine concern for my pet’s well-being. They kept me updated regularly on his condition, which put my mind at ease while I was far from home. Went in for our first visit today and already feel so good about this place. Loki had an emergency visit this weekend and I just moved so needed to find a new vet pretty quickly and was sent this way. We came in for x-rays and blood work. We worked with Dr Cooper who is so incredibly friendly and even let us see the x-rays. Lots of great communication and very honest. Loki doesn't have a fear of vet offices like most dogs and immediately settled, wagging his tail and Happy to see everyone! Was able to pick up our new dog food and excited to be a new client of this wonderful practice.

Cooper is a great listener and knew immediately what was wrong with Bethany. His treatment got her back to her active and playful self within a day! I trust him with all of my cats needs! The new receptionist knew I had just gotten out of hospital after two surgeries. She carried Bethany to my car! Wonderful staff and vet!

We love Chevy Chase animalClinic doctors and vet techs. The only reason I can’t give 5 stars is because the front desk staff has been less than stellar the last few times we have come in. While I know things get very hectic at the front, I am often ignored when I come in or treated like a burden when I can’t get my dog to stand on the scale. The checkout process has been chaotic the past few times I have been in as I’m often left standing in the lobby as the front desk staff chats amongst themselves. While we love our vet and our incredible techs, the check in and out process leaves something to be desired.

Dr. Cooper Headley took amazing care of my dog when he had cancer. I got several great months with him after he was diagnosed thanks to Chevy Chase. When the time came to say goodbye to him. the entire staff was very kind and compassionate. They're also great with my older cats, balancing treating their chronic health issues with being mindful of my financial constraints.

I had to look for a veterinarian to put down my boyfriends and I, sweet cat . He has had her for 10 years now . She unfortunately had a terrible case of what we think was Jaundice. it overtook her body very quickly . We were non clients and Chevy chase were 100% there for us and squeezed us in the next day to allow us to let her go. They treated us with so much compassion as it was the toughest day for us. Dr. Lauren Cuffe first seen my Blue Persian in 2021 at VCA after leaving another clinic because we were in A dark place with the cats health. Dr.Cuffe saved his life. Then we we learned she was no longer @VCA . Thisis when we started reliving the nightmare all over again, until a few weeks ago learned she was at CHevy CHase Animal Clinic. We were contemplating on putting him down if He wouldn't get the right care again. DR.CUFFE saved his life without experimenting a bunch of steroids on him, which was making him sick anyways. Me,my husband and our friend which we rescued ,is once again seeing daylight at a once very dark tunnel.Thank you Dr. CuffeYou will never know how much we appreciate your love for animals, your help ♥️ .allowing our little guy to enjoy life with us a little longer. 💙 I believe she's at Chevy Chase Animal clinic because their standards are higher in treating there clients pets as if they were there own. .

Chevy Chase Vet has taken great care of our 2 dogs and cat for years. Dr. Headley is wonderful with our animals and always takes time to explain things and makes sure he and his staff are providing top of the line care. The entire staff is wonderful, compassionate, and helpful. The prices are quite affordable and they’re usually able to fit you in to the schedule when you need them!

I have used this practice for several years. All the vets that work there are wonderful, but especially Dr Headley and his son , Cooper. They cater to my elderly dogs with true compassion. I can usually get an emergency appointment if needed They are also excellent with cats, Molly’s grooming service is great too! I love that our dogs can visit the vet and the groomer with just one trip.
