We recently moved from Etown. What a difference between the staff and the shoppers. So much manners and politeness that we never experienced in Elizabethtown. Originally from the Chicago area and Elizabethtown was a terrible first impression of Kentucky.

We did shop at Walmart however we noticed there seems to be a problem with cell phone service not only that when you walked into door and made a call there's a screen that comes up on your phone and ask you to put in your email so they can track you I don't think anyone's willing to do that I'm not sure who put that up but I would advise anyone and everyone to never use it always click it off I learned that from my credit card company as I got a few scam notices but everything seem to be okay be very careful at Walmart in this town especially I'm not noticed this that other Walmarts

Honestly if I could give zero stars with my experience today in this Walmart I would. There was apparently a Internet outage that effected the registers. You could only use cash. Not many carry cash around these days, but that wasn’t all. The lady over the uscans had us use our card three times and two of those times was stated the card didn’t go through, however it charged my card twice. Go to customer service and I was in a riding cart due to a sprain in my ankle and four people were behind the desk, not one of them acknowledged me. One of the customer service reps came out to wait on the people behind me, but I continued sitting there, finally I just said…. Can I be waited on. She said our registers are down. You will need to wait until they come back up. I said I’m aware, but you can at least acknowledge me and my issue and then she walked off to leave me with someone else, who had to get the manager. Manager said it could be later today or even tomorrow. He said it was a state wide issue. Well I called two other local Walmarts and they are having no issues. I noticed this happened to them once before on Aug 9th. Lots of people walked out and left carts of cold food etc. I’m not upset the fact the registers/cards having issues, it was the lack of customer service with all the workers standing around laughing and it being funny! Really need to take a look at the customer service area for sure. Maybe a secret shopper. If only I had been one.

They are redoing floors so everything is moved around but man are there ever some good clearance prices on some goodies right now!!! Fun to search them out! Winter smelling candles for $1 and some where almost $20!! Also a purse that was $20 for $5!!

If you're white good place to go, management seems to discrimate based on color and gender. If you're not white be careful about walking around the store for more then a few minutes. White ladies like to complain to management if you look at them funny and then they call the cops and you get kicked off the property.Other then that clean store and usually well stocked.

Love my Walmart!!! It was very well stocked and not too much remodeling done, which causes my trips to the grocery store to take longer and be far more confusing!

6-20-23 Looks like the oven is fixed. Baked breads back in stock.6-12-2023 If you are looking for a fresh bread option this week, shop else where. Oven not working so not making bread. Of course, they make you track down an employee, that is oblivious, to find out why they don't have any fresh baked bread. Really, how hard is it to post a note telling customers what the problem is?This poor store-more stock than they can get on the shelf. Major pallet dodging when shopping, not only in merchandise but the grocery ailes, too.

This walmart currently has construction and it is a total nightmare. You actually get trapped in the parking lot with only one exit, which is shared with a small strip mall which has a dollar tree. Total traffic mess right now. I will avoid until the construction is complete

Tire center is a joke. Took my tire to get a piece of metal out & they said they couldn't do it. I took it to leitchfield tire & they fixed me right up

One of the best Walmarts around here plus free entertainment with almost every visit. Having a bad day or night...just stop by Walmart for a good time and you will leave feeling better and with a smile almost every time!

It's a Walmart not much more to say though small town Walmarts like this one are usually friendlier and cleaner I do hate self check out it equates to free labor Walmart would otherwise have to pay for and Walmart will prosecute you for a honest mistake doing a job you are neither trained for or paid to do

Hannah, in the self-checkout area, helped tremendously (and patiently) when our particular register/scanner continued to not scan. She continually had a smile on her face and was pleasant to work with, a bright shining star!!

1 star based on the grocery pickup service. It’s a total circus back here, and unacceptable the amount of wait time and back log of customers who wait for their orders. I’ve been in retail. I understand I do. Things happen. But waiting almost 2 HOURS, for something to be brought out to me is where the issue is. Do better, be better. Have more support in the department so things like this do not happen anymore. The point of this being convenient is to get it from point A to B effortless and flawless- which you’ve all managed to fail. PSA if you do a pickup, try to pick an early time, Especially if you’ve got to be up for work at 4am.

Although I have to admit I truly dont like shopping at Walmart. I think it is ridiculous that there are no cashiers anymore that us the customers are expected to do everything for ourselves yet we dont get paid to do so. Then if we make a mistake, we get ridiculed or harassed for it. Not to mention how there is always someone looming over you trying to watch your every move but when they have to check on someone else & miss you scanning something then they scold you like Barney Fife & make you out to look like a thief in front of everyone. It is absolutely embarrassing to say the very least!!!
