Had dinner last night and I would give them 5 stars. Food was reasonably priced and delicious . I even bought a bag of homemade sweets. Very Good dessert. Staff was very nice and respectful……So this morning I ordered breakfast and the breakfast was delicious and reasonably priced as well. The staff this morning were confrontational over butter. I hope their day improves! People love Butter!

I just absolutely love Southern hospitality. Everybody's smiling. My waitress Brook was full of smiles and delightful, fast and efficient. The food was great. Really quick in and out. I got the special the chicken livers with the homemade mashed potatoes and the cinnamon apples and I even had a cornbread/pancake was delicious. Another great experience 🙌🏽🙏🏽❤️ and very reasonable priced. Also, I'd like to mention extremely busy. Excellent sign. Keep up the great work and quality of your food

Nice little place! It was super busy when we arrived, definitely a local favorite. We tried several things on the menu like the catfish platter, the vegetable plate, and the Manhattan. The broccoli salad was fantastic. The “baby bakers,” small roasted potatoes, were delicious. The white roll was pretty good too. One of the best things we tried was the coonhunter’s cake. It was this pineapple and cream cheese concoction with nuts. Yum. The staff was super friendly and got our whole order correct and in a timely fashion. I would recommend checking this place out!

It wasn't really busy here. It took them a while to deliver the meal. Their green bean and coleslaw are pretty good. French fries, it tastes plain. Need to add season salt to French fries. Chicken tender tastes good. Overall, the food quality was good.

Throw back to a simpler time. Walking in here is like walking back in time. The booth I sat in was "well loved." I enjoyed the meatloaf, the portion was small for my liking, but it was very yummy. I also had the green beans and the cucumber and onion salad. The green beans were very flavorful and the salad had just the right amount of dressing to make it tasty but not too much that it was soggy. Well done! I did not have any dessert, but boy did they look tasty!

This is a casual country restaurant with a down home feeling. It has a simple menu, plus daily specials are posted on a blackboard. Traditional southern comfort food such as meatloaf, bbq ribs, chicken and catfish are popular favorites. Weekends offer an all you can eat catfish special. For special days the menu will include rabbit, quail and frog legs, so call ahead to see if those are offered if they interest you. Parking is free but sometimes can be hard to find and you might park across the street. I recommend this as a casual dining experience, servers dress casual, seating is comfortable casual and food is great at a good price.03-30-2 24In town and decided to have dinner before leaving. Mixed review today. Food was good. This is a favorite of locals and they work towards a quality product.However, I noticed a tiny dark one on my plate and tried to convince myself it was a scratch in the plate. It wasn't, and it was a tiny hair. As I was finishing, I noticed near it was a longer dark hair (maybe 1-1/2 inches). Luckily, I was done at that point.During the meal, my BBQ sandwich had a large piece of gristle, I guess that's what it was.She had the beef tips and it was good. However, they don't come with sautéed oinions as she was expecting, our mistake, but take note if you are accustomed to such.Overall, the food was good. But the hairs really bothered me. I pointed out the hairs to the waitress as she collected the plates and suggested she should check the kitchen for hair nets. She asked if I wanted to see a Manger but I said no. I don't like making a scene.At the checkout, I was asked if everything was fine. I did tell her about the hair and that the server was informed. Also, the quality issue of the BBQ. I guess one of the ladies was a manager and she adjusted the bill (I didn't ask for a discount) and she apologized.We will be back as this might have been an employee problem. I will definitely be watching closer be I start eating next time. Since they apologized and discounted the meal, they seem sincere.

The local diner feel with friendly staff. The menu is southern country food at very reasonable pricing. I enjoyed The Manhattan which from where I'm from, was called an open faced sandwich. However, they added a twist with tomato slices. I would certainly return and order the same dish again if I ever visit Leitchfield in the future. Give them a try and support the local community.

Have been here many times always pretty good food. They have all you can eat catfish on Friday and Saturday. It is pretty good fish. If ya are looking for some home cook food try it out.

A great local restaurant in downtown Litchfield, KY with that down home feel. The food and desserts are homemade and you can taste it ... delicious! If it's country food you're looking for and you're in the area I recommend you give this place a try. It's sure to not disappoint and you won't leave hungry.

So goodMeatloaf is a 10 out of 10 it was the 2nd yummsit Meatloaf.Mashed potatoes are 9 out of 10 they were good and a bit dry.Green beans are 8 out of 10 good and all but they have to little flaver.Cornbread is a 2 out of 10 It didn't taste like Cornbread and it was hard as a rock.

I love this place! We’ve been here for lunch and for breakfast. The burgers are REAL BEEF and taste fresh, lean and tender. Breakfast is also like mom made.Service is friendly and makes you feel like you’re at home.I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for good food and a friendly country atmosphere.
