4/24/2024 Update: The cashier working this evening is definitely not cut out to be anywhere near customers. There was no greeting, no thank you, no interaction at all except to throw a heavy box on the floor when I approached the register. It seemed her intent was to let me know I inconvenienced her, but isn't this her job?Never does this place honor sales flyers or clearance events. You can choose an item clearly displayed with a sale/clearance sign right over it, and the manager will say the sale/clearance price doesn't apply because the item was "just moved today". Every time. Same excuse.

Don't waste your time going to this one they make up own rules for the store this is only one in town who will not accept all cash cause management is to lazy to go buy a pen to mark on bills with! And the management will also ignore you when you are ready to check out and continue talking to other workers even when they see you at register ready to check out.

Idk if the hiring manager (yes im talking to you.... and im glad you're reading this right now.) has a mental health problem that hasnt been diagnosed or what but her communication skill needs improving, (its not what you say, but how you say it.) She needs help hiring guys! But she'll talk to you like dirt under her shoe lol and youre wondering why youre still hiring.... Dollar General needs to update the management. 🤙 ill leave ya alone now ya peasant.

There is two women in there that so very hateful. I have never been in that store and been treated with respect. There is on lady named Holly that will treat you right. But the other 2 women are so very hateful. So I quit going in that store off Broadway. I don’t have to shop there.

The cashier was extremely rude when I was buying lysol disinfectant wipes. I was only getting two one for me and one for my mom. She snatched it and said you can only buy one thats the rules. For one there was no sign stating that. Its not like I was buying five or more. I will be avoiding this particular store in the future. Toxic staff will make anyone not want to shop there. On a positive they have clorox and lysol disinfectant wipes.

Place is always cluttered. 99% of the time you cant find what you need, or they dont have it or even carry it! The staff isnt very friendly,at all. Especially the managers. One mangers acts like she is SO burnt out on her job,she NEVER smiles. Seems to be "on something" every time I've been in there. And trust me, I know when someone is messed up...I'm a recovering addict(6 years clean. And I'm NOT ashamed to admit it.) You do not get greeted with a smile or "how are you," or if you need help with anything let me know." I've had one staff member tell me that she likes/tolerates her job because she has bills to pay and a child to take care of,so she keeps quiet and keeps to herself. But she told me the very rude manager I was talking about earlier pretty much judges everyone that walks thru the doors...as in for example; "they're scum," they're looking like a thief. I bet you they steal." This manager has accused MULTIPLE of my friends/family of stealing and made them empty their purses,empty their pockets etc BEFORE the police arrived and guess what....NOTHING. She accused them for NOTHING. This woman does NOT deserve her job! I am entitled to my opinion...and I'm voicing it. I've kept quiet over this woman for years. And I'm not any longer. I've already reached out to corporate...they were pretty furios and said the situation would definitely be handle.

It sucked as usual,place is full of items to stocked.Aisle ways always have equipment in the way.When I checked out there was a line of people to check out,w employees watched the one cashier check peopleshopping cart out.Why not open another register.Also at Dollar General on us127 Lawrenceburg the last time I was in there.A Muslim that own store near there had a whole shopping cart full of gallon jugs of milk,he cleaned out the cooler,to take to his store to sell at higher price. That Dollar General is nice location an a excellent place to stop but milk,beer on way home.If I go in there 1 more time see that again or there is no milk in cooler I will never go there again,I intend to tell all my friends about it an they don't need to stop if no milk .

Great Dollar General for truckers! Lots of room to park (don't know about overnight), and a great selection of food at the surrounding restaurants.The staff was very friendly, helpful, and courteous, unlike a lot of Dollar Generals.

Dollar General has quite a selection of products. Greeting cards, clothing , pet needs. Its like a mini Walmart. They have food, beverages, they also haveBeer and cigarettes.

Do not buy any type of space heater or small heaters from here they have a secret no return policy on them where customer is not notified of it luckily i dealt with nice managers and only had 24 hours that they returned for me

I love dollar general i go here atleast 2 times a week maybe more. Things are cheaper here then Walmart and its it's closer to my house and i just love going to dollar general.
