Let's set aside the fact that this store has problems staying stocked. They also can't seem to keep consistent store hours. One day they might be open until 11 p.m. the next day could be 10:30 p.m. or 10 p.m. and the sign posted outside clearly says "Open until 11 p.m. EVERY DAY". EVERY DAY people! Not "whenever it's convenient for the store". Now take these issues and couple them with the less than awesome store associate attitude/demeanor/general helpfulness and you've got our local DG store... Fantastic

What can I say. This location was clean, the shelves were stocked neatly, and the employees were friendly and knowledgeable about products. They really made my experience a delight. If you need to grab a few things quickly, this is a great place to stop. You can get in and out very quickly and find what you're looking for with ease. Great job.

Need to keep things stocked better. Maybe try letting your employees do the inventory mite get better results and sell more.

It is local and I go here a lot.. Coupons plus normal prices on laundry detergent and all paper products much lower than Walmart. This place has gone through many managers since opening. It was running great for awhile, then went 2 months with limited stock and a mess.. Looked better last visit.. When Colin works( Idk if he switched stores or new hours)_ but he is the best employee this store in all of it's year's ever had!!

Only name-brand items here- no generic brand bread, buns, soda, etc., so not very inexpensive. Also most of the cooler items never seem to be priced- you just get shocked at checkout. And last but not least, even though the employees are friendly, service sucks because there's usually only 1 register open & the other overworked employees are stocking shelves. Just cruise on past this one & continue to the Save-A-Lot about a mile down on the right! Just tryin to help y'all ✌💜😁

Since the Riff-Raff has been FIRED for calling police on innocent shoppers, it's a convenient and familiar place to shop. Competitive prices are usually at the lower end of your dollar, compared to the bigger shopping centers. Friendly and helpful staff...(NOW!)

Went on Thanksgiving after noticing they were open on way to dinner. Store had 10 people in line at register w/only 1 employee working almost in tears. She said an employee left & another one wasn't due in yet. We didn't buy as much as planned because of long line. Stupid to have 1 employee working-should have closed for holiday since did not have enough employees to work! Stupid management!

I love this store. I know where everything is located so if I need to just run in and grab a few things, I can. The employees are nice and the store is usually pretty clean and stocked

Great prices, lines can get pretty backed up though since there is usually always one cashier working. So probably not a good place for a quick stop of you're in a hurry.

Dollar General is one of the best places to go in Lancaster!! Myself and my boys love going all the time, and the employees that work there are the best there are!! Everyone is always super friendly!!

This is one of my favorite places to shop. It's quick and easy to find all the stuff I need because the food is in proper place and organized. The quality is great and prices are very very cheap.

I find it terrible that the employees in the store including the managers do not wear a mask but yet Dollar General website says that masks are required and talks about their cleanliness during this pandemic. But every time I go in there the customers and the employees do not have masks on and no one seems to care. I will not be returning to this store ever.

A lot of nice things with great prices but it’s always hard to find anything or even to look for anything due to all the boxes and carts filled with boxes blocking the shelves.

Very slow 1 register open. 2 closed with 2-3 working in the back. You need to hire more people. Atmosphere was terrible, lots of people waiting and frustrated.

This store thinks it's okay to ignore the mandate set in place by our governor and not one worker is wearing a mask one worker went to work sick and knew they were sick another said we dont have to wear them chuckled and said yeah a lot of people are going to die when I told her that's unsafe I have called Andy brasher office health dept and there corporate office to report them something needs to be done before they kill innocent people

Another good dollar store the lady's here are really nice but they seem to need more help you have to wait from time to time due to lack of help but most of the time they are quick to help.

ALWAYS A LINE. There are three registers but they only use one. Cashier are extremely slow. But you don't have alot of choices in Lancaster so you are stuck.Go in to get a loaf of bread be prepared to stand in line for atleast 15 minutes
