I am 100 percent over joyed and satisfied with this grooming service. My dogs are 2.5 yrs old have heen outside country living dogs since early spring,and had never seen a groomer. She took care of both of my babies from nose to tail and they look, smell and feel fabulous. As long as she is in business i will NEVER go anywhere else.

Amanda is the best! We have 3 dogs and 1 of them is a brat but we she knows exactly how to make them comfortable. She cut hair on our 2 German Shepherds and a Spitz and throughout the day took her time to make them not so anxious! They felt like silk when we got them. Amanda will ALWAYS be our groomer. You will never find anyone with patience for your fur babies!Call her she’s the best!

Beta dog grooming spot EVER. Not only do they do an amazing job, the dogs get to interact with other dogs and play. They are very friendly, and keep in contact with you the whole time with updates too! Definitely recommended!

Excellent! The only place I'll take my fur babies from now on!I just returned from another GREAT experience at Country Canine! I have three fur babies and they are like my children. There aren't many people I would trust them with. Amanda is actually the ONLY one that I would completely trust with them.I wish I could give 6 ⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐ stars. They deserve it

Just picked up my fur baby from getting a bath. Not only did he get a bath but she trimmed his nails, expressed his anal glands and cleaned out his ears. Amanda is very nice and Grim seemed to love her. I highly recommend her. Super pleased with the service she provided

Amanda does an amazing job! She takes great care of my miniature aussidoodle! Nattie is treated like a princess there. Amanda is very professional and responsive to questions. Her rates are great too! I recommend everyone to Country Canines.

I was so impressed with County Cani e Grooming, now called Sassy's Paint Lick Paw Spa! I have 2 German shepherds who have been farm dogs and can get quite filthy but are now indoor dogs. No matter how I attempt to groom my long haired German shepherd, he still has mats and tangles. He gets very dirty and stinky. Amanda did a PHENOMENAL job getting him all trimmed up and dematted and smelling wonderful. She was so great with them. They are 10 years old and needed lots of breaks and special care since they can't stand for too long. I just can't say enough good things about my dogs wonderful experience with Amanda's Sassy's Paint Lick Paw Spa

Amanda is the BEST!! My husband and I had to leave town on short notice due to a death in my family. She kept my dog, “Buddy”,for over a week on short notice. Now first I must say, a most unusual thing happened before this experience. I was calling all the Kennels in town only to find that the loss of my dear loved one coincided with EKU’s fall break, and every place was full. I left messages with every place in Richmond and surrounding towns, including Lexington. Every place was booked and overbooked. Out of all of the messages I left, and places that said they would “get right back to me and let me know if they could take Buddy or not, either way” I received only 1 call back. And it was from someone that I had not previously spoken with. It was from Amanda with Country Canine, with whom I had left a message on Voicemail. Amanda was so kind, helpful and didn’t seem to be straightaway concerned with the money. ALL of the others that I spoke with ran the gambit on cost up to, and over $1000. Which is a lot of money when you’ve also just paid for your child’s funeral. During the time that we were gone, 10 or 11 days, Amanda offered to FaceTime a visit with us and Buddy at anytime we requested, no matter when it was. She sent us pictures and texts the entire time we were gone. I didn’t worry once about how my Buddy was being treated, for I knew. While my Buddy was well loved, cared for and pampered. She also made me feel very cared for, and I believe that I have gained a friend, as well as a new groomer and pet sitter! She is truly that special, kind and loving. May God bless her for ALL that she does. People like Amanda are rare. And I was so lucky and blessed to have found her. Please take my advice and go with Amanda, every time……🙏🏼

I can’t thank Amanda and her husband enough for the beautiful job they did grooming my two Great Pyrenees. The amount of attention they gave to each dog was amazing and my dogs look absolutely beautiful. The picture of the hair is the undercoat of one dog. I’ve never been happier with a grooming for my pups as I am with Country Canine.

Mary White lied be it only takes 3 hours for Amanda to groom her dogs. She doesn't keep them in cages. Amanda does an amazing job. She treats all the fur babies. that come in her grooming shop like her own Our Bane loves going to the groomer. I wouldn't trust anyone else with our fur baby. One day my son went to pick up our Bane from the groomers he said Amanda was rubbing his belly and giving him dog treats. She spoils all he babies that come in to her grooming shop. I recommend Country Canine to all my family and friends and they all love Amanda and the work that she's does We love Country Canine and Amanda!!

I have used a lot of groomers but country canine did the best job on my D shed for my great Pyrenees. I won't go anywhere else besides country canine again. My great Pyrenees came out looking better than he has ever looked. She took her time and was very patient with him. you can really tell she takes pride in her work and her clients! Thank you Amanda Edington for taking such good care of my dog. Her prices are very reasonable as well. I don't understand any bad reviews this was the best experience I have ever had with a groomer!

I have been taking our fur baby to Country Canine for 2 years. I love Amanda and the way she treats her clients as her own. Our Bane has never smelled like cigarette smoke after his spa days. He always has a fresh clean smell. Bane is always so excited when we pull up to the groomers he runs to the door wanting to see Amanda. We wouldn't trust anyone else with our Bane. She always give her clients a break when they get stressed out about a bath. To Amanda and everyone at Country Canine we love you and appreciate everything you do!!❤️

LOVE this place! My puppy is my whole world, so I wanted to make sure she was well taken care of when she was being groomed. She got a deshedding, nails clipped, and a shampoo and cut for such a reasonable price. I love the owners of Country Canine and their staff. So personable and sweet and they really love their animals! I highly recommend for your next grooming appointment for your fur baby.

I travel all over the country with my dog Elliot, he was in desperate need of a cut and bath. I found Country Canine by chance and they made my baby look and smell great! I didn’t realize he had fleas but they gave him a flea bath and cut out the mats on his face. I can’t say enough good things about them, they took such good care of Elliot and usually he’s not too good with a groomer but he must have felt comfortable because he did really good. I will definitely be back! Thank you all so much!

I am a Deputy with the Madison County Jail and I brought Deputy Roman in for his first ever groom. Everyone was wonderful and professional and Deputy Roman has never looked better! He thoroughly enjoyed his time there with Amanda! I am unable to post a pic of Deputy Roman on this computer. Hopefully, Amanda can do that for me so everyone can see how beautiful he is? We wont be going back. They promised a "special" process for prevention of shedding which cost us $90. I dont see any difference between what they did and what any other bath did for our GSD. They didnt even trim his nails!! We told them NOT to use clippers on him, but when my husband picked him up they told him how he went crazy when they tried to use clippers on him. I mean REALLY!? $90 bucks and no nails trimmed!! Doing what we specifically told them NOT to do and just giving him an okay bath!? Nope. Dont take your fur baby to this shady place.

I called and tried to get my dog in for a grooming. I left a voicemail and I was sent a text saying they would get back with me. No one did. I called again the next day and same thing. She text to me not to give up on her... but I can't even get a call back. I would be happy to update my rating if they call me. I just don't see a point in calling a 3rd time.Edit: The business reached out to me. They are short staffed. Unfortunately I already had my dog groomed or I would of given them a shot. I will try again in the coming months. I appreciate them reaching out.

Me and my fur baby Bae LOVE Country Canine! All the people up there are so personable and talk to you like they've known you forever! They love on Little Bae and make me feel really comfortable about leaving her there. One lady even took the time to show me around and show me where they keep the dogs when they aren't being groomed yet or waiting for their owners to get back. They are kept in cute play areas. I've also been really happy with the quality of work these employees put in as well to make sure both me and Bae are happy! Overall this is a great company and I am very pleased with their services! We will keep coming back for sure!

Dropped off my 5 month old puppy at 2:00 as per my appt time. Was told I would be called when she was almost ready to go. AT NO TIME was I told that it would be 5-6 hours before my dog was done. I called at 6:00pm as I had heard NOTHING from them and was told that there was still another dog ahead of my dog. REALLY? I know of no other grooming facility where it takes 6-8 hours to groom a dog. I went in and picked up my dog which had been bathed but no cut. Amanda overbooks appointments and then can't do the job. Facility was crowded with dogs and not very clean. No professional dog groomer runs a business like that. If she really cared about her "fur babies" she wouldn't treat them to being hours in a cage waiting for a haircut. I would NEVER trust her with my dog again. Seems like it's all about the money and getting as many dogs in as she can.

Amanda was very personable. Called and got Jax's appt the next day which was awesome. Little pricey, from what I usually pay for the Bath & Grooming, but Jax looks handsome. I recommend Amanda!
