I had a great experience purchasing a Big Green Egg with Watts. The owner let me take a catalog, and I asked him for various price quotes which I received promptly. It was a significant order including a large custom table.The order was ready within a week of being placed. I discovered I needed to remove some items from the back of my truck to accommodate the table, so the owner sent an employee in a truck to follow me home from the store so I didn't have to make a second trip.In short, price and customer service were excellent. I stop by frequently for business purchases as well as buying charcoal, etc. for my smoker and have never been disappointed.

This place sells alot of items that are junk....I mean ALOT! Their hours are not ideal for residential. The design center next store has some issues also. The head contractor does not follow up with potential clients very well. When they 1st opened I was thrilled but as time went by their business is subpar. OC NEEDS A LOWES!

We reviewed a Napoleon Grill during the home show in LaGrange KY . The grill was a must have for our family, therefore The Watts Home Center team invited us to the store and we review many different models. A week later as promised, the Watts Home Center delivered a outstanding Prestige Napoleon to our home. They also help relocated the old grill. Great job!

At first I thought my experience was going to be top notch and I would write a glowing review for our local business Watts Home Center. After spending over $10k and enduring lost records, mixed up orders and delivery issues we returned because the ladies in the office are very responsive and helpful. Perhaps not always the most adept at keeping records of changes and updates to orders, but being able to deal with a professional rather than a robot or hourly helper makes it worth returning. Unfortunately, the final straw ultimately comes at the hands of the "owner". With one final light fixture to order and no idea what size we needed we sought out professional advice on the appropriate fixture for our room from Watts. We were directed to their "lighting expert" who was kind, knowledgeable and confident. We provided her the room measurements including visual details and she provided specific height, width and diameter based upon the specifications and directed us towards fixtures that met her very specific requirements. We narrowed down the options from her list, selected one we liked and placed the order. (Not a small item and not a small price mind you - $1500.) I've never spent this much on a light fixture in my life but found comfort in knowing I had a professional assuring me this was the appropriate size fixture for our space.Delivery day comes...and goes, a few times. No worries, we knew to order far in advance of the install date given the previous delivery issues (not supply/demand related), forgotten follow up, experienced before with Watts. However, when the fixture is finally delivered and unboxed, it is a gross understatement to describe it as GIGANTIC. I said to myself, the professional knows best, let's go ahead and try it. Long story short, the fixture was mounted almost flush with the ceiling and my husband, who is 6'1" could stand underneath it and touch the bottom with his hand. It was wider than the width of the fireplace and obscured the view of where the TV was to be mounted. We tried raising it even though there wasn’t much space to do so, anything to try and make it work but it appeared entirely too large for the space. Got a second opinion from an interior designer and he practically broke down in laughter as he entered the room with the fixture. So we did what any loyal customer would do and requested at the very least, accept it as a return with us offering to pay a restocking fee given this was purchased purely on the direction of their lighting expert. When I tell you it was the fastest Watts had ever responded to us over the past year of working with them that is not an exaggeration. The owner immediately rejected our request, said their professional with whom we were directed to work with merely made a suggestion and that ultimately, Watts was not responsible. No return, no restocking fee, no refund.So here we sit with a massive unusable light fixture that we were guided to purchase by Watts’ lighting professional with absolutely no recourse but to share our experience here with you. Disappointment is a profound understatement of what we feel…cheated, taken advantage of, disrespected and completely disregarded is more accurate. Clearly money is the priority here and happy, cared for, returning customers is not. We advocate for supporting local family owned businesses rather than big box stores but apparently, the family member running the show at Watts cares less about their patrons and more about their lining their pockets. BUYERS BEWARE...the "owner" never made the slightest effort speak with us directly, rather hid behind those sweet ladies in the office is clearly uninterested in being accountable for the operations and errors that sometimes occur in the ordinary course of business. Watts remains unaffected and unconcerned until enough of us are fleeced and respond accordingly by taking our money elsewhere.

Christina and Don were very helpful. She ordered my Louisville Ladder attic stairs and called me when they arrived. The price was much less than big box store. I will be spending more time and money here. Store is real nice!

Supported their business from day 1 on Button Lane. Spent hundreds of dollars on various supplies and tools. I am a huge advocate of supporting local businesses in Oldham Co. and La Grange. Many conversations with the owner and all were friendly and I would trust any opinion or advice he would offer. Went in this AM to ask advice or guidance from him on a product that was purchased off of Amazon (small sliding door kit) and was looking for a drywall anchor solution of one of the 4 holes. The kit came with plastic wall anchors and I lost one in the 1 hole where a stud did not match up. He looked at me and said that the the kit should have never provided that and I needed a stud and there is nothing I can do to help you. Then waived on another customer and proceeded to check him out. i was astonished at the attitude and tone in his voice, I tried to ask something again and got a similar statement in a colder tone and he continued about his business. I guess unless something is not purchased from Watt's now this is the way the business runs. i walked away in a little disbelief and remembered when he was a small struggling hardware store and now this. I went into their isle where various nuts, bolts, and other items were found and grabbed something that worked exactly as I expected to solve my problem. Congratulations Watt's.... you have received my final $1.37 that will be spent in your store. Business is so good now you can forget about your faithful customers from your grand opening days on Button. When people asked where they should go get hardware and lumber, I always said to go to Button Lane and they hesitated and doubted my recommendation. Back to the big box stores for me for hardware and lumber.

Watts Home Center has always been mine and my husbands go to choice for Home improvement needs and hardware. From recarpeting my office and two years later our home to our day to day home improvement needs (paint, nuts, bolts) Brian and his team have always gone above and beyond for us. We have worked with them and shopped at their store for sometime now and have always had a great experience. Being able to support a local business is always important to us as well! Thank you Brian and team for all you do for your customers and your community

I especially want to thank Adrienne with laying out my amazing cabinet, Susan laying out my floor covering and Don the master Farmer who put my lumber package together. I live local and needed some lumber. I love Lowes but decided to shop local. Got there and not one person in the store had on a mask. I should have turned and walked out but I really did not want to drive into Louisville. I asked the lady at the back desk did they not respect their customers enough to wear a mask at least if the customer did. She said, we don't were masks here. Not spending my money in a place with no more respect than that for the customer.

Brian and Candy are Fantastic! If they don't have exactly what you need, they won't hesitate to order it for you. Great local family owned hardware store! Excellent selection and much closer than Lowe's or Home Depot :)

Came in like 10 minutes before closing and was greeted by a friendly gentleman. Helped me find what I needed and I was in and out in 5 minutes. Never knew there was a hardware store so close by! Will definitely use them more often!

Needed materials for Oldham County Day signposts (volunteer project). Shopped the 'big box' stores for price estimates. Then, with my 'bill of materials', called Watts. Ethan checked every one of my items to ensure they had the quantity in stock. THEY DID. When I arrived to purchase, he recalled every item from memory! WOW.Icing on the cake: the total cost was CHEAPER than THD (which I try to avoid).. plus, only a few minutes away.KUDOS to Ethan and Watts Home Center. They are a JEWEL in the O.C.!

Great staff and material. Competitive pricing to big box stores and their lumber is of better quality. If you don't see what you need, ask. It's either in a back room, until they expand, or they can order it for you.

This is the worst experience I have ever had in finding what I needed and the prices are three times higher than home depot or Lowes and to top it off the owner tried to touch my girlfriend in an inappropriate manner, he was very aggressive on trying to towards her.

They have been indispensable to me on several project. They have a huge variety of good well maintained rental equipment. Additionally, they have an entire hardware store, lumber yard and paint store in house. Great service. Great people.
