Manager acted clueless on helping and was nonchalant about the problem. When I'm sure if she wanted to she could actually help. Prices were marked but not correct. Service was super slow to checkout due to said problems. Worse walgreens I've been to. Makes sense why it's only 2 stars.

I have been very critical of this Walgreens in the past as has many but recognition and a updated rating is needed and well deserved. Walgreens in lagrange has done an amazing job with hiring and retaining some quality employees in the pharmacy that do an amazing job. With the holidays being behind is normal but it has gotten extreme at this location in the past. The pharmacy employees have done an incredible job making sure things are caught up and that there are no long delays.It's a tough economy and environment to hire and retain good employees but the management at this Walgreens deserves a ton of credit. Great job and it was nice being able to delete my negative review and replace it with a current raving review! Keep up the amazing job! Thank You!

We waited an hour and a half for three simple, common prescriptions on a Saturday afternoon. And when I went back to the pharmacy to check on them the first time no one would even turn around and acknowledge me. Never again.

Once again..... having to wait forever to get a prescription filled. I got dental work done and have been waiting 3 hours for them to fill the prescription. Yes, they did take a lunch in that time period but, when I came back 30 minutes after their lunch I was told it wasn't ready still. Then when I asked for an estimate I was told.... we have about 75 scripts to fill. Never got a time frame just how many they have to fill.

I used to be a regular customer; however, service has been poor for a while. I waited on the phone for over 30 minutes to get an answer to my question. Everytime I have had to call, it takes more than 25 minutes to get someone to pick up. One day I made a call from work and waited 10 minutes. I got in my car, still on hold, and drove home to pick up my medication. I was still on hold while I was waiting in the drive thru. When I drove up to the window, someone finally picked up the phone. On hold for over 40 minutes!!!!!When I pick up my medication, the line of cars is ridiculous. I can be sitting for over a 1/2 an hour before getting served.I tried to use the Walgreen's chat, but it cannot give answers about medication.

As I write this review, it’s has been 22 minutes that I’ve been sitting in the drive thru line with my toddler and still not at the window. When we got in line only 2 cars were in front of us. This is not the first time. Time to switch.

Slow to fill prescriptions, won't pick up the phone. There is no reason someone should have to be on hold for 50 min just to get hung up on without even speaking to anyone. Do better Walgreens!

The waiting is absolutely insane. I had to change my pharmacy because my old pharmacy stopped taking my insurance. The drive thru is backed up 6-7 cars waiting 45 minutes to an hour and coming in it’s backed up 5-6 people. 30-45 minutes Something should be improved with this process. There should be no reason people are waiting this long.

They took 4 hours to fill a bottle with 20 pills on a weeknight. Additionally, I was placed on hold for more than 20 minutes with no answer until deciding to go in store. Upon entering store, pharmacy employees were working lazily. I do not mean any disrespect, instead I intend to share the facts so others can make an informed decision. The service was unacceptable. Do not use this Walgreens for your pharmacy.

Long wait or no answer on the phone. Medications are either out of stock or late filling them. Staff is nice when and if they answer they phone.

Had surgery today. My prescriptions were called in by 1:30pm. My husband waited until 7pm to pick them up to give the best chance they may be ready. Was told they would be ready in "an hour". I called at 8pm to check on the status of my meds and was told they wouldn't be ready until "tomorrow". I just had KIDNEY SURGERY and now I'm going to have to wait until TOMORROW to be able to take something for the pain, and something to prevent infection. When I asked why it was taking so long, they had no real reason - no staff shortage, no shortage on meds, no insurance issues, no interaction issues, nothing. They just waited so they wouldn't have to do them today. I said "you have an hour until you close, you can't get the two main ones I need filled tonight before 9?" Her response was (an exasperated and dry) "We'll try." I hope none of these people are ever in my shoes or have a family member in my shoes. So, I get to look forward to a very painful night.

This is an update to my previous review where I had little good to say about Walgreens and its execution. Walgreens have placed their management and their staff in a Very very tough spot, add to that or complicating that even further is the labor market we have been in and it’s a nightmare. This is no the fault of local management and or local employees. Walgreens in Lagrange has struggled for years. Walgreens Corp keeps adding services like vaccines and also taking on more larger group of customers like with Rite Aid but has done little to nothing to ensure these services and or customers can be safely adequately serviced.Lagrange Walgreens management and employees need to be given recognition. They struggle being short handed, especially in pharmacy but they still serve customers with a smile and do everything in their power to serve customers quickly and efficiently which sometimes seems like an episode from ground hog day. I originally gave this store a 2 star rating but after watching the mgt and the staff I decided that it was completely unfair. Coriporste i woild give a 2 star rating at best but the local management and staff deserve a 6 star rating plus for coming in and trying to do the impossible daily, and do it with a smile.So please try to be patient and don’t direct your anger or frustration to staff when it’s not their doing! I know it’s hard but they deserve the respect and the recognition along with our appreciation for attempting to do the impossible daily.Walgreens has a problem that has been facing corporate America everywhere. The problem is these large public companies have taken all local management power out of the hands of Store Managers and have made Managers into mere robots who are only supposed to follow the very limited defined broken system that Corp provides them. Employees are not paid to perform they are actually paid to do as little as possible. That very defined system includes but not limited too keeping wages at the very minimum even when that means getting rid of good employees or Mgrs that the company feels.makes too much . Walgreens Corp then buys up the competition just like they did when they bought the local Rite aid and leave the community little option s except to accept a much lower level of customer service. This formula has worked and there profits continue to grow with this formula and honestly stock price is the factor that means everything not customer satisfaction. We need a business revolution in this country and get back to the day where companies did what they could to provide the best service possible and take care of the employees who make the business run at highest level. We need companies that empower there managers and there employees and still provide a good return for the stock holders.

Was trying to inquire on prescription that was delayed/denied.After being on hold for 20 minutes, it is now lunch break at 1:00 and my call is now to be held for an additional 30 minutes until the pharmacy opens back up at 1:30. I hang up and call back after 1:30 and I am on hold for another 40 minutes only to be disconnected when the pharmacy picks up and cuts me off. My frustration level is increasing so I try back at 5:15 only to be advised by the CSR that my script that my PCP had submitted was closed by "someone", so now I am advised that I need contact my PCP and request another prescription from his office for Walgreens to proceed. My frustration is increasing due to the previous phone issue, and I advise the CSR that is unacceptable for the prescription on my profile to be closed, not the first time this has happened by Walgreens. The CSR than disconnects the call without any other solution or option. The only option for me is to reach out to the PCP and request another prescription submission. To the CSR working the phone your professionalism could most certainly improve. Terrible customer service I wish I would have gotten your name before you rudely hung up.

Went there for 5 years since I moved here, finally got tired of waiting 45 minutes in drive through and switched to a different company mail order and no more waiting. That said, all service is worse since covid and staffing issues but this place you mentally have to gear up if you're going to go pick up a prescription.

I have shown up numerous times to pick mine and my sons medications after being told they were ready. Only to have sat in line to be told they do not have it and it is on back order. These medications are extremely important such as inhalers or breathing treatment supplies. When you try to call they just leave you on hold or pick up and hang up. If going through the drive through the shortest times I have ever spent was 30 minutes. The staff is unprofessional, rude, and have little to no knowledge about what is happening. If I could give a negative star review I would, but i cannot so i had to give it a one. I highly recommend you find a different pharmacy and not use this walgreens.

We have been in line for 40+ minutes after we were told to come back after arriving just an hour after visiting an urgent care. They only have TWO employees in the pharmacy. Both are very lazy and slow. If you can't maintain employees, you shouldn't be open!

This place is ridiculous! I have not had 1 single good experience here! They are slow as can be. Never fill anything on time. Important perceptions your lucky to recieve itthe same day. I have recieved the wrong prescription as well before in the past. I truly do not see how corporate has not stepped in or this place isn't shut down. I'm so sick of this place. I will switch next time. I have given way too many opportunities. I just waited 30 minutes in drive through line with only 2 cars in front of me.

First prescription fill at this location and they disbursed a defective albuterol inhaler. When informed that the product didn’t work they said they couldn’t replace it, I would have to get a new one through the manufacturer, or I could come and pay cash for another (hopefully working) inhaler. I worked for years at a different pharmacy and it was a fireable offense to knowingly disburse defective medications or medical equipment. At the very least we would always replace defective products brought to our attention. Not at Walgreens. At Walgreens, it doesn’t have to work, they just have to get their money. Obviously transferring my script and will never return.

They use to be great at getting prescriptions filled in a timely manner. Now you have to wait in line either in drive thru or inside for WAY too long before being helped and calling isn’t any better wait times at least a half hour to 45 minutes before getting someone to answer.

I am adding to my review and raising the rating -- they have been great during Covid. I can order online and it's delivered, often 20 minutes later.They also were great in doing the Covid booster and Pneumonia shot. The woman giving the shots is one of the best! I never felt the needle either time.Drive through is a JOKEI pulled up at 2:56pm to pick up a prescription. I don't like to walk through a big store because of bad knees. There were four cars ahead of me. at 3:17 there were STILL FOUR CARS ahead of me. The lead car was there over 15 minutes. I was finally able to get out of line when two cars behind me left. I parked, walked through the store and paid for the prescription. At that precise moment, the lead car just THEN paid and left. Your pharmacist sat with ONE CAR for over 20 minutes, while people waited and waited. If there was a problem with that order, she should have instructed that customer to park and go inside, and allow the rest of us to move through in a timely fashion.Gets WORSE...new script taken there on Monday. Did not have would have on Tuesday. On Tues. they tell me not filled, won't be filled until after 4pm. Wednesday at 5pm they still don't have it. Friday I go back and they don't have, raise noise, they give me 14 pills. I get call its in. Get email it's in. I call store and double check if in, yes, it's waiting. I get to store and sorry it's still on order and not in. Six days - FIVE TRIPS and they still cannot get them med, yet keep saying the order is ready for pick up. My hubby nausea meds while taking chemo and they keep screwing around. What they hell do they care?

The lady pharmacist is very rude and acted like she was inconvenience cedar because I asked about a side effect of a medication for my daughter. The really young male pharmacist couldn't figure out the dosage based on my daughters weight calculation even though the physician ordered a specific strength of the same medication she had in the past. He had to go back and do more calculations after I had to wait in the drive through another 15 minutes uses making my total wait time in the drive thru 25 minutes. He finally realized the medication was "safe."I will add that they are very unorganized and unfriendly. Just because they are super busy doesn't mean they can treat people rudely. Pharmacists in general are dealing with sick people and should show compassion. The only reason I go n here is when my normal pharmacy is already closed.

Horrible experience with the pharmacy. Obviously understaffed and inventory is extremely low - they weren't able to fill my prescription fully or the prescriptions of others in line with me. Waited on hold over two hours just to try and get the prescription transferred to another pharmacy - still unable to do so.

My prescription was on manufacturer back order and they didn't have the courtesy to call and tell me, and I couldn't get a call through to the pharmacy. I gave up after a 15 minute hold. Now my baby has to spend an entire night without her prescription eye medicine. On top of this they take forever. They never get the insurance info right... just totally unprofessional. I'll never be back no matter how convenient the hours.

Extremely slow! We are going across the street to fill prescriptions from now on! I have given them several years of chances. Today was the last. No other Walgreens takes 3+ hours to fill amoxicillin! Their only response ever is "it isn't ready, come back in 20 min" while I'm driving around with my sick kid 🙄

Beware! Stay away! I was informed by the manager that they are currently operating without a pharmacist on staff, they only have a tech who’s acting as pharmacy manager. Beware it may not be safe there now. I’m currently going through a nightmare with them over getting my medication that they have “lost”. Many times they’ve given me someone else’s medicine and I’ve returned it . Apparently they’ve given mine to someone who hasn’t returned it so I’m out of luck. Incompetent and dangerous!!!

Workers are super Lazy. I got there at 9:56 to pick up something I needed, and there were 2 old ladies there, one sitting down and the other one behind the counter. When I walked in the lady behind the counter told me that she was closing in 30 seconds so I told her I will only take 2 minutes. She then said no sorry I’m closing and walked around to close the door. I guess I shouldn’t be upset because it was not an emergency however, I wasted my time and fuel as u live 8 miles from the store for her to just say no. I went back to my car and my husband said to me. I saw you got kicked out and laughed and then he said, you still got 3 minutes go back but I didn’t couldn’t do that if I wanted too as the ladies locked the door and we’re still there just talking!! Bad service!!
