Beware!!!! Any Holiday merchandise purchased at DG cannot be returned. It can only be exchanged for another Holiday item. This return policy is not vividly displayed near the holiday aisle, at the checkout area, or on the receipt. Other retailers fully disclose return policies (Walmart, Sam's, Dillards, Target). I confirmed the DG policy deep in the company website. In my opinion this policy is an abhorrent example if corporate greed. In my case, I purchased the incorrect Christmas lights and they didn't have anything else to meet my needs. I will donate these lights to a needy family.

I'm so done with this chains lack of supplies! Impossible to get eggs anymore or lactose free milk (unless it's Lactaid), no house Ac filters..the plus side is the frozen food section is brimming (which I rarely buy) and the fresh vegetables were stocked! I guess this is the famine....

It's close, it's handy, and the cheçkout girls names ,mandy. I'm single, so it works for me. More items could be only a dollar, so we need a five and dime store too.

I visit this place so often that I'm almost certain that I spend most of my money here. Better than Wal-Mart any day. I don't do walmart. If it can't be bought at Dollar General or family dollar then I'm determined I don't need it lol
