My first experience was WONDERFUL! My dog was lame and extra care was taken to insure she was comfortable while her nails were trimmed. Loved the compassion!

I love her. She knows so much about animals. She will clip the nails of a snapping turtle of a dog and not charge a huge amount.

My boy Oreo went and he came back lookin so handsome and smelt so good. rockin his bow tie.. I will be making new appts for my now 2 boys oreo and oliver. Keeping them as their groom for sure.

I am from out of town. My 2 small dogs needed groomed. She ask how I would like them cut. I explained to her how I wanted them done and even showed pictures of them. They were done just the opposite. Awful cuts. I also was very skeptical because of the condition of the place. But the kicker was when we were leaving and the German Shephard who I believe would have mauled us all if it could have gotten to us. Never ever again would I go back.

My baby looked great after going there. She was a matty mess before. She won't be good for me to trim her any longer, but they didn't say anything about her being a bad girl for them. They took her in quick and she was done in the two hours promised. Good service and very good with fur babies!

We're from out of state and needed to have our two babies groomed. The business owner is nice enough but her place of business leaves a lot to be desired. The place is somewhat run down on the exterior (needs cleaning/windows washed ect). What is most disconcerting is the odor inside. Honestly...we nearly turned around and walked out simply because of the odor that was so overwhelming. Quite frankly-it stinks. When we returned to pick up our two the grooming at best is OK. What we noticed again was the odor. I'm not sure but I don't believe either one had received a bath and because of the odor of the surroundings they both smelled bad. Two days later and I can still smell a faint odor and will have to bathe them myself. One other thing that was worrisome. She had a large German Shepherd in the front area that nearly came through the plate glass window barking and snarling as we approached. It does not give you a sence that your animal will be safe left in her care. I will not be returning. I realize Jamestown is small and may not offer to many options but I would definitely find a groomer elsewhere before going to this one.

Happy hounds is a great place to take your pets. They treat my Zoey like royalty. She is always happy and welcomed there. Deanna is amazing. The building is clean and smells great. Very pleased and happy with the service the Zoey receives. From grooming to boarding. If you have not been there what are you waiting for?Best around in mine and Zoey's opinion.

My dog went to happy hounds yesterdayAt drop off was fine barking and allYes she is getting older but still eats drinks goes outside to potty and all the normal things a dog does and she blind in 1 eyeAt pick up having very hard time breathingI stayed up with her all nightShe would not drink eat or even have her favorite treatThis morning we had a emergency vet visit at 6:45But unfortunately Daisy Mae passed at 6:20Anybody who knows me knows Daisy was not hyper very calm and loved her ears rubbedThe excuse we got was she getting old and arthritis!!!

Grooming was ok’ish.. the cleanliness of the business was pretty rough. Feces and urine in cages not cleaned. Smelled pretty badly. I hate to leave negative reviews but it really was hard to breathe in there.
