I love shopping here, to be honest. The workers are awesome & will cut up & joke with you, etc. They're super friendly too. Hell, that's what makes the store great in my opinion. 😁

They have the basics but their prices are higher than Aldi over in Richmond. I just wish they sold cilantro!! There's no where in Irvine to buy it. Also, sometimes I think their freezers aren't cold enough because I get the ice cream out of the case and it's already soft.

I’ve lived in Irvine Kentucky for most of my life. I grew up here I love my small town and for such a little town I am so thankful we have a community grocery store the only problem is when I’m shopping for my food I don’t really appreciate half naked people in the produce aisle. But I still love this little store! It does throw me off that they hire at such a young age though with all these older men walking around…

It's the only grocery store in town. It is well maintained and clean, and everything is straight and organized. They have great customer service.

They have your very basic necessities (most of the time) but you're not going to find much variety. They do have a good range of meats at really great prices, though. I usually only go here if I run out of a basic staple item (eggs, ground beef, potatoes, etc). Also, I'm always shocked at how many bags they use at checkout - they rarely but more than 2 items in each bag and they double-bag lots of items - it's a huge waste of plastic.

I shop often at the Sav A Lot in Irvine because it is basically the only store in town. I can’t count the number of times I have seen moldy produce at the store. Many items go bad soon after I bring them home. Once I found mold on fresh corn. I reported this to the store manager, and more corn was brought out; this corn was moldy as well. Many people, especially the elderly, are unable to go to Richmond to shop, and are being taken advantage of. These problems need to be addressed.

This store is great. For a small town it does a very good job. The associates who work there are ALL very nice and friendly. They are ready to help when help is needed.

Produce is always rotten, meat section always looks green and spoiled... Someone is going to get sick if y'all don't step up your game... Not trying to be a witch but I believe save a lot could do way better

Store was stocked. Workers was friendly and fast at checkout!!! The buggy's can go down isles with out boxes or anything in the way!! The fruits and vegetables are fresh and good!!!

I used to love having the ability to shop in my hometown. But the beef is coming up short, the milk and meats are expiring early. I had a half gallon of milk that wasn't supposed to expire for another 3 days from now and it's been thrown out for 2 days or more. I had bought a pretty expensive steak and it was rancid by the day before the sell by date. I can't trust the grocery store that I grew up using.

It's ok if you are in a hurry but park in the wrong place and you'll have some old fat creeper guy "employee" starring at you like he is big bad stuff. You look him in the eye and he'll look away then a little later you'll look around and he'll be starring again. I mean who wants to put up with people like that. I wish I could give them a minus 5 star's. They need to fire that guy I have heard 30+ different people talking about this creep. We most are shopping at Kroger they are a way way better grocery store.

I needed to update my rating- to drscribe why it's tops! The folks in the meat department are so helpful, even in the middle of their busy day, to help an old lady find what she needs, even guiding them personally to the very items they were looking for. Check out is fast, efficient, yet friendly and upbeat. These hard working people deserve a big thank you for working in a dependently owned store, allowing more freedom in stocking product.

Save-A-Lot used to be the affordable option for all of your grocery shopping needs. Nowadays, it's between .40 to a $1.00(or more) higher than Walmart and Krogers on most of their items. Save yourself a few bucks and drive to Richmond or Winchester. At least Walmart and Krogers have name brands for the price you're paying at Spend-A-Lot.

Well I know it's not their fault that the lines are backed up so far I feel like they could have had more than three lanes open but the staff is definitely willing to go out of their way the help as far as if you needed something they can't find it even if it's not in their Department I do however wish the floors had not been so sticky and again that they could have had more than three lanes open

The staff was awesome. Only reason 4 stars versus 5 is that in the store most customers didn't wear masks. All the cashier's and stockers did wear them however.

It's a small grocery store. They will have your basic staples for a great price but don't expect to find nitch items there such as a fresh deli, seafood counter or meat counter.

One store out of a chain of grocery stores, the store is always clean and everything is mostly fresh in the store when shopping has a wide variety of products while shopping and has multiple registers open at a time usually so that the store doesn't get backed up with customers

It has everything you need at a reasonable price.It is missing a few name brand items that I like, but that's a minor complaint.Clean facility, super friendly staff.
