Wow where do I start with this one. This is one the biggest problem liquor stores that I know of. Actively lying to customers about supposed, “price issues” with rare bourbon that means that they have to, “pull the stock”. This reasoning would be something to consider if they were not actively making a price adjustment for another customer right in front of you. Never have I seen such a stubborn manager who only picks her favorites that she sells to based on if they attend her church or not. I thought maybe once she had gotten in trouble for doing this once, she would have stopped, but she has already gone back to lying and hoarding. In reality it is just a bottle of bourbon, but to my close friends and family that we share rare finds and enjoy with each other to create moments we might only have once, I feel I have been robbed and spat on. I hope Kroger sees this and does something about it, but I am sure this won’t change a thing. Spend your money elsewhere and try to find other stores that respects their customers better.

Has a offer selection than most Krogers but if you like bourbon and want to pay reasonable prices then go somewhere else. I was looking for Horse Soldier Bourbon Premium for a gift. $49.99 from the company so should be right around $55 or so. Kroger has marked it up $27 over MSRP. Contacted the distillery and they were not aware of the steep prices at Kroger. Meijer has the same bottle at $54. Heading over there to get it the right price. Shame on Kroger for price gouging.

Great selection of liquor and beer. Was kind of sad to not find a good selection of mixers, I suppose they expect you to go next door to the full store. They did have some basics like soda and juice but not much for energy drinks.

Wide selection of beer, hot and cold, easy to get in and out. Cashier was super nice, gave some good suggestion. Kroger Liquor store, walk out the door to enter Kroger. Clean and well lit up. The prices were affordableWe will return. Thanks 😘

Kroger's liquor store Independence Kentucky is one of the best and cheapest liquor stores I ever been in the people in there are fantastic they treat you like you or one of the best customers they ever had and they do it every time very polite and courteous and have a large selection of Everything Wine Liquor beer I recommend it to everyone and please drink responsibly

I usually find Kroger liquor stores to have some of the lowest prices around. They also have the build your own six pack and 10% off 6 bottles of wine. They sometimes have tastings on the weekends and overall a good variety of liqours. Sometimes the beer selection in the store vs the liquor store is different though. No point to check out local liquor stores when you can just get it done at Kroger.

Got kicked out, the cashier wouldn’t even look at our IDs even though we are of age. Maybe because we are girls and we look younger? Regardless, party source is right down the street and MUCH better so don’t waste your time here. Terrible customer service at the Newport Pavilion Kroger Liquor store.
