Westuck is so beyond wonderful. I brought my pet here for a cremation, and they were so polite and sincere. I didn't make any fancy requests, but they made me imprints of my pet's footprints and even a framed death certificate. It meant so much to me to see those after receiving my pet's remains. They even had it all put together in a lovely bag for me. Here's hoping I don't have to return for another cremation soon, but when I have need I'll know exactly who to go to. These guys made my grieving process so much easier, and I cannot thank them enough.

I have been taking my dogs to the West Kentucky Veterinary for years! My Yorkie loves going. The staff and doctors are nice! They talk to you and explain your options. They are very gentle and the prices are okay! Definitely recommend.

I love this place. All the staff treat their customers with kindness and treat your pets like family. My older fur baby was suffering a large lump on his face and we had been to several vets which could not figure out the issue, but once we found this caring staff they not only figured out what the issue was, but also got us to a pet dentist to have it resolved so that I didn't lose my baby. The best part is they helped see me through the situation from start to finish. I drive 2 hours to this place one way, but well worth it and have found my lifelong vet. Thank you for all you do in taking care of all my fur babies and loving them as much as I do.

I’m very thankful I brought my golden retriever to Dr. Ervin for a 2nd opinion. Though her opinion didn’t differ, I’ve been bringing my dog there since. Every single person in the office has always been very friendly to me each time I go in there. Dr. Ervin calls me with results and is very patient with all my [tedious] questions, I’ve never felt rushed. I haven’t got the best news regarding my dog, but she’s been compassionate with me and explained every single step to me. I’ve only been taking my dog there for a couple weeks but have talked to a friend currently wanting to find a more affordable veterinarian and I highly recommend Dr. Ervin and her staff.

First visit and this will be my go to vet. Not only were they timely, the staff apologized they were running behind. In reality they were very much so on time to me. My dog loved them and everything was explain. They took time when I asked questions and I didn't feel rushed at all.

I wouldn't take my cats anywhere else. I am always treated like family no matter if I'm there with my cats or just for food. Dr. Wagoner is the best along with Tammy and the rest of the staff. When asked or not I tell people where I take my cats for there care.

When Dr. David and Dr. Wagner were there, I had all my babies to go there. Wonderful both Doctors. As my most precious first rescue, my Sweetpea long hair Chihuahua had awesome care when renal failure was discovered I became ill. I honestly didn't want her to leave me alone. Both Docs have always been the for all my babies and myself. She had about 6 months, well to our surprise she hung on I think almost 2 more years. It was the best care. If it wasn't for their big hearts and their love for your Lil ones . I can't ever be able to thank everyone there fully treated my babies and I. Well my baby passed on 12/20/18 and went in peace. I know miracles I do understood and understand that when CKD hits there's no coming back. As I read these bad reviews I wonder if these folks just wanted to hold on to the babies. So next they accuse these fine docs of not caring. All Doctors do is to keep you and our pets alive, and for this reason doctors are not God. Although miracles happened with my Sweetpea , I praise God that a miracle happened through the hands of God and these wonderful Doctors. I do miss Doctors Davie and Wagner. I will not go to the new doctor Amanda in which I can see she has run people off with a nasty attitude and lack of caring about your pets because she is all about the money. Dr. Davie has been about you and your pets.Thank you 🙏 Doctors. Not this Amanda person.

2024 UPDATE:Dr Ivin and all the staff at West Kentucky Veterinary Hospital were amazing! They took such good care of us and KD during her last hour of life. They took their time explaining everything that might happen. They gave her cookies, chocolate doughnuts, and snickers bars (all the chocolate treats shes never had) which she happily gobbled up. They sedated her before putting in her IV bc she her anxiety would never have let them do that. Her heart was strong and held on for longer than I expected but she had started having seizures last week bc the dementia was getting so bad.Im having her cremated but they also gave us a vile of her fur. They let us stay with her the whole time and as long as we needed after she was gone. I couldnt have asked for better, more love, and professional care.2012ive been taking my animals here for over 12 yrs. the staff and drs are very friendly and knowledgable. one dog has hip displasia n allergies. another had heart failure n pulminary edema. they work w me on pymnts n allowing me alturnatives to buying their meds. my animals love them.

About 2 years ago I had to put down my faithful companion Emma. Dr. Davie helped me through this process and was real and authentic about how serious Emma’s health was. I appreciate that and it helped me I understand why it had to be done. The staff is amazing and I can’t see me every taking my other dogs to another Vet.

I liked that the vet and vet tech were gentle with my kitty and treated him like he is the special cat that he is. I think animals can sense when people care. He was calmer than I've ever seen him at a vet visit. He even took his exam, 2 injections, and nail clipping without any problem. I liked that my questions were answered and I got a lot of good information. (My previous vet didn't answer any questions, it was a nightmare.) Although Google has its place, I prefer to get info from experts. So, I was glad to be at Westuck because now I understand how to better take care of my cat.

People have told me about places that are cheaper, but I've learned that you get what you pay for. Though, I'm happy with their prices. I've always been satisfied with the prices and service. I have used Westuck since I adopted my kitty from the local animal shelter. I was not aware when I adopted my kitty that she was so sick. When she still was issues after a few days, Westuck was happy to see her. Dr, Wagoner was extremely nice and patient. My kitty was soon on the mend and living her best life. Westuck has been my go to Vet ever since. I am sad to be moving as I am not sure I will find another Veterinarian that takes such care. I highly recommend them. From the staff to the doctors, it's a great place that will put your mind at ease that your pet is being cared for by the best.

I love my vet! Westuck is the best place to take your pet. I am not Bryan, I am his mother and I have been taking my pets to Westuck for over 20 yrs. and I have never had a bad experience. Found staff not friendly my stepdaughter and I waited in the room for twenty minutes at least as we heard the staff talking and joking. I am not sure why a long wait with only 3 cars in the parking lot. I was shocked seeing that I found this place off of Google reviews thinking I found the right place to take my new service dog prospect instead the complete opposite not so clean with dog hair and paint peeling off of the walls.The vet told my new puppy to stop smelling so she could hear his heart. It is sad when my step-daughter pointed it out how bad it was there. For fifty dollars for a first time wellness visit (no shots) for my pup.I feel it was expensive for five minutes of spending time without really talking to me and my stepdaughter. I had to ask the staff to weigh my puppy the vet technician told me if I wanted to weigh my puppy to go ahead and do it. Throughout the whole visit not one staff attempted to weigh him I had to. The veterinarian seemed not to have any interest in establishing a new client rudely telling my puppy to stop smelling so she could hear his heart. If she took out the time she would have found a light yellow cream English Lab not a different breed. It is pretty bad considering the first time in contact with a new client and their puppy.At checkout the same rudeness I think I will pass coming back to this place. I know I will be able to find a caring veterinarian office in Hopkinsville Kentucky that truly cares just not Westuck.

Let me share my experience to save someone who googles places like me and sees good reviews and thinks that they must be good. NO that is not the case with this place. So I had an appointment to get a cleaning for my dog prices were discussed beforehand. We agreed on a price I made it clear to let me know before they do anything else. Like most vet clinics do especially if the customer makes it clear, they never tried to call me and extracted teeth ( which was needed apparently) and then call me and tell me the price before I pick up my dog I tell them that wasn’t ran by me they did it without my permission after telling them to call me before anything I had my phone by me all day just incase. Long story short I told them I agreed to an amount I couldn’t afford to pay it they need to waive the exam fee or work with me because it was their fault on lack of communication. They didn’t care it was their mistake but I was going pay regardless they must not care about customers. They are really not professional probably the worst service and experience I’ve had in my life. Avoid the headache guys go to a Place that cares about not only your animals but the customers and giving fair prices and communicating if people can’t afford to overpay without communication. Not everyone can afford financial surprises!! This place is a joke and landed me to a way better more professional and affordable vet clinic if there’s one good thing I got out of it. GO ELSEWHERE. they can write some bogus reply justifying why they take advantage you but you can save it I will let everyone I know about your place and how terrible you are to your customers.

Dr. Amanda Erving is the BEST vet in the Clarksville/Hopkinsville area. Her prices are the lowest of any vet in this area, but the level of care is absolutely the HIGHEST.She's taken care of our 4 cats for 5 yrs. She and her staff are empathetic and caring so I HIGHLY recommend this veterinary clinic.

Absolutely love Westuck. I have been taking my dogs to them for years. I have always seen Dr. Wagner, but my parents saw another vet last time they went, and were just as happy. Great staff that you can tell really care for you and your animals. I have also used their boarding services and was pleased with that as well. My dog, who is normally a little opposed to staying at the kennel, had to make her rounds saying goodbye to all the staff before she was ready to come home. That says a lot to me. I wouldn't take my animals anywhere else.

What I like most about Westuck is the people who work there. They are all highly knowledgeable and my dog has always received quality care. But it's more than that, it's the way they treat my dog and love on her while treating her. She loves going to the vet and walks in the door with her tail wagging. I have to say my favorite person is the secretary. Even on days she's really busy, she makes everyone who walks through the door feel important. I highly recommend Westuck.

I recently moved to Hopkinsville and didn't have a vet for my dog. I saw all of the great reviews about Westuck and decided to take my baby there when he wasn't feeling well. I absolutely could not have been happier with my choice. They really took exceptional care of Gordon, and went out of their way to figure out what was wrong with him. I highly recommend!!
