I honestly don’t even know how this pharmacy is still open. Every physician I’ve seen in the area tells their patients to go anywhere but here. There’s one pharmacist on staff and a handful of techs that are nice and helpful but it’s a toss up of when they’re on duty. 99% of my experiences were awful and borderline HIPPA violations while in earshot of other customers. Laughing at customers and popping your gum in their face ain’t cute, especially for a pharmacist. I’ve used Walgreens my entire life but moving to Hopkinsville changed that really quick.

I would leave a zero star if possible. I have never been treated so bad at a pharmacy. After waiting in the drive thur for 30 minutes they tell me my insurance is not going through. After they explain this to me I asked them what the prescriptions will cost as a cash pay. They tell me, I tell them to fill them not caring because my son needs them. They tell me they haven't started filling them because the insurance issue and proceed to tell me I have to go to the back of the line or go in. After asking how long it will be I tell them to just fill them and move forward to go park and go in. After waiting they have lost my insurance card telling me it's my fault because they put them in the box (never opening the box for me to take if they actually did) and I drove off and didn't get them. After calling them back they say they viewed the camera and the girl put them in the box, so it's my fault. So someone out in Hopkinsville has my sons insurance card which is a major violation of the HIPAA ACT/Policy. How can it be my fault when they didn't give me the option to get them or even tell me they put them in there? Also the tech and pharmacist were total disrespectful chewing me out and accusing me of their fault. I would not recommend anyone to go here for anything unless you want to be treated like trash for them making mistakes and your personal information exposed to any and everyone. Unfortunately my child will have to wait next time until our pharmacy is open! By the way they weren't entering the correct information which is why it was being rejected!

Call wait times are ridiculously long! The drive-thru lines, even longer! I have refilled meds on the app only to get to the window and it didn’t go through! I cannot, in good conscience, recommend the Hopkinsville Walgreens pharmacy! Save yourself the time and aggravation!

Still sitting at the drive thru window. It has been over 30 minutes. They still have my ID and still haven't filled my son's prescription. He just got out of surgery and the prescription was sent in over an hour ago. Three other cars have waited next to/behind me and left.I just want to get my son home to rest. Why does it seem like no one knows what they are doing here?

I'd give zero stars if I could. The pharmacist "Vivi" failed to fill the prescription when it was called in, and when we went in person, they said they had all three, and would fill it. When we returned three hours later, they claimed they had only received one of the three, and it hadn't yet been filled. When we asked them to look again, they found a second one, and said they would fill it. They asked us to pull out of the line so they could service other customers while it was filled, we did so. I returned 20 minutes later, for pick up, and they closed (1 minute early), I get it, it's time to go, but I asked the pharmacist if he could help out, and he said he could, but they were leaving, and so he wouldn't. So, they phucked it up twice, and I got out of the line to help them out, and they couldn't square it away for us. Worst service at any Walgreens ever, I've been using their pharmacies for 30 years, and it stops today.

I understand that computer problem can be prostate I was told it would be 1 to 2 hours before they get my prescription I waited in line for the second time then was advised it was there but would be 30 minutes to fill it I was called on the intercom went back to the window and was told I needed to get back in line the absolutely worst experience I have ever had at a pharmacist. I will not be back maybe that will help.

Cluster FUGGGG! Most awful pharmacy ever! Absolutely no communication. No customer service. Wait on hold an hour for unhelpful pharmacist. Stood in line 3 times for same medicine that they still didn't get right. Ugh ugh ugh.

I don't understand why they purchased Cayce's and weren't prepared for the rush that was coming!!! You have to wait forever for prescriptions, they close 30 minutes for lunch, and the service is very slow!!! I'm switching asap!!

I just left looking for distilled water. I had called ahead and was told there was none on the shelves but that someone would be able to get some out of the back room for me. When I arrived I had a difficult time finding an employee to help me. Eventually I found someone (a younger lady with blond hair) on three separate occasions I had asked for her help, only to radio to someone else. I patiently waited by the stock room door where I was told someone would go in the back and get water. No one showed after 5 minutes. I went back to the young lady and told her no one ever showed up at the stockroom. She proceeded to stock deodorant and had told responded with ‘okay’ when I mentioned still needing help. After over a couple minutes of her prioritizing stocking deodorant over helping a customer and after asking 3 separate times, I finally spoke up and expressed my irritation with her dismissive behavior multiple times. She went to the stockroom where I proceeded to hear her talk about the whole situation as if I was in the wrong. Overall the customer service at this store is absolutely atrocious. This is not my fist time receiving terrible customer service and will no longer give my money to any Walgreens. “On the corner of happy and healthy” is far fetched and absolutely does not apply to this store.

Was on hold twice for 20+ minutes to be immediately hung up on. Not even trying to fill a prescription, just needed to ask a simple question about a prescription we had already picked up. I feel bad for the associates up front, I finally called them and they said people were calling them with the same issue.

Walgreens pharmacy wait time has become extremely unruly. The pharmacy staff will not answer the phones and will disconnect the call after being on hold for 30-50 minutes multiple times. The pharmacy staff was not helpful and rude when asked simple questions in a time of need.

Dr called in prescriptions (at around 5:40pm on 5/12/2022) for my uncle, he was being released from the hospital after surgery. I went immediately to get them and arrived with 3 minutes to spare, I thought, but no they had stopped filling prescriptions with the customer just in front of me. I arrived too late they said. I explained the situation, but was told that's too bad, you will have to come back tomorrow. I told them just how sorry and useless they were along with Walgreens. I will never use a Walgreens again. I only gave 1 star because you cannot give negative stars. 😡😠😡

Was with this pharmacy for 13 years… which was about 13 years too long! I’ve never had such poor customer service before! Not all, but many rude employees… extremely terrible communication… they rarely even answer the phone. I could list a number of incidents where I should’ve left and didn’t, but I finally did and have absolutely zero regrets!

They kept telling me they didn't have my perscription. Called the dr to make sure it was sent. It was sent over an hour prior to me checking in with the dr after waiting over 2 hours for my meds.

The public posting of flu shots claim they are free. The flu shots are however are not FREE. I took a picture of the sign and the sign clearly states the shot is FREE! It depends on your insurance payor. Also the Techs are unfriendly and rude. They do not know the difference between VA insurance and champVA. This pharmacy is a joke.Made an appointment for a vaccine and still waited an hour. These folks are a JOKE!

My dad is 84 years old. The heat index is 110 out side. Walgreens has texted me and said it was time to fill his prescription, so over the phone I gave Walgreens permission to fill it. The automated service said it was complete. His prescription would be ready for pick up on 08/20/2019 at 11 am. He waited until 4pm to go pick it up. I knew there would be issues, so I told him to take his prescription bottle with him. He didn't do that. My mother calls me and tells me they have no order for him after he gets out in the heat. I called Walgreens and they have no record of the order. They said it would be filled in 30 min. I don't know what is going on with this department, but you just lost a valued customer. I hope in the future you will get your automated system in line with the real deal

I am a nurse case manager that works in a hospital and we are required to call in medications for our physicians and determine co-pays or prior auths for patients discharging to make sure it's affordable and obtain the prior auth before discharge. We do this all the time and the pharmacist will always run it through while we are holding and give us an answer. Not with this pharmacy, acted like they were perturbed for being called and told to call back. I said I'd call back in 30 min and was told they would try to have it by then but our request would be put in line and didn't know if it would be done by then. Was told I should call the patients insurance to find out, really? This for a patient ready to be discharged. Have never had a pharmacist be so rude. Just hope when he or his family are in the hospital and need this they will get the same kind of care that was given for this patient.

Terrible pharmacy. I use Walgreens in Madisonville usually and they are great but this one is the slowest pharmacy I've ever used. Maybe they need new management. And this time I've been on hold for 10 minutes without even being spoken to after waiting in line 45 minutes yesterday only to be told they didn't receive my prescriptions. However it says in my visit summary the prescriptions that were called in and that they were called in to them.

I do not recommend their pharmacy to anybody. Their technicians have bad attitudes and let people set at the window 20+ minutes to wait on their prescription, as other people sit waiting in the line for an hour or longer. I've switched to Rite Aid and have had no further problems.

I love this Walgreens. I work nights, so it's great that they are open so late. They're one of the only places I can get food or drinks before work. Staff is always nice and helpful, even though I know they're tired that late at night. They're always hard at work stocking but still keeping an eye out for customers that need help.

So we drove 30 minutes to walk in clinic and they sent it to Walgreens due to it being Sunday. We seen the line wrapped around the building but we waited. Took us over an hour to get to the window for the lady to explain we have 4 prescriptions and none were ready! We said ok that's fine we can wait your busy and that she explains it will be atleast another hour... just save yourself the trouble and don't go here ... unless you got nothing better to do but wait in line

Been going here for years. Dealt with the long waits because I had rewards there. Got an appendectomy today and arrived at 550 to get my prescription filled. They told me they close at six and wouldn't fill it tonight. I told her I had an appendectomy today and really needed it. She told me sorry nothing she could do. Also told me nowhere else was open. Its 6:15 i just checked out with my prescription from the Walmart pharmacy down the street. So not only could she not inconvenience herself possibly staying 5-10 minutes to allow a regular customer to have the medicine after a painful surgery, but she then tried to lie and tell us nowhere else was open to save face. Wont be back in a Walgreens again. Go to Walmart pharmacy much quicker and friendlier.

This is a great pharmacy. Never a long wait, they always answer the phone and they are extremely polite. I’ve lived here since it was built and I’ve never had a problem. Some people are just spoiled I guess.

There are only 2 ladies in the pharmacy that seem to genuinely care about the customers, other than that they really have no desire to be there besides a paycheck. The main pharmacist acts as if he nor his staff can do no wrong even when it comes to extremely bad service right down to telling someone they do not have time to do something. I have been shopping at Walgreens for years and across the country and have never experienced such poor service
