I foster kittens that are part of the adoption room at PetSmart Hopkinsville. I have been there many times to drop the kitties off in their excellent adoption area. It's always clean and fresh.I have shopped there many times and always found the staff to be friendly and helpful. They always have a stock of what I need.

Disliked everything.They're very rude.Paid 60 dollars to get my pup groomed. Which I didn't see a difference. They charge a extra 15 dollars just to file his nails. You gotta pay before you can even see the horrible job they did. A complete rip off.

Great staff! Easy pickup for online orders. Would give a 5 but their grooming staff isn't that knowledgeable about grooming dogs a basic shave down they got you anything other than that they are not capable of doing but they will tell you they can.

If I could give 0 stars, I would. I experienced racism and unprofessionalism. On top of it all, this is my first time at this PetSmart. My little Yorkie of 15 yrs has been going to PetSmart for yrs and this is the only location he and I have had an issue with. I came in rushing b/c I was w/i the grace period holding my 5 month old baby and an elder dog. She didnt greet me. I tried conversing, she was dry, didnt say anything. Just asked for her vaccine records. Didnt even look at me. My dog pooped, which is normal, she didnt try to offer any help as I was holding a 18lb 5 month old. So I had to kneel w/my baby to get the poop up. On top of that prior to me coming in, she tried to cancel my appt while I was w/i the grace period, outside in the parking lot getting my baby out the car seat.When it was time to take my dog back, he snapped at her b/c he is over protective of me and the baby, which is what I told her. I learned that from the other groomer who told us we'd have to walk out so my dog wouldnt see us so she could pick him up. So I informed her of that and I walked outside the gate. She said he snapped at her again, but I dont believe it. However, if he did, its b/c of her energy that dog's can definitely sense. My dog is a friendly little dog. I end up having to lay my baby on the counter to put my dogs leash back on. But the only thing she did do was open the door to let us out. I drove all the way from Oak Grove after driving 5 1/2 hours from Georgia to get my dog groomed. Just get denied and have to drive back. A waste of my time, gas and energy.I would've taken him to his regular groomer but they had no appts. This was the worst experience ever and I would never recommend this location to anyone. I dont even want to go into the store to shop. ALISHA found ever reason to not do her job. She is rude, not friendly and unprofessional. 0 stars!!!

Disgusting, unprofessional grooming services. Too much to name. My appts keep getting moved over 4 weeks or more. Last straw given a 8:00am appt. When I went told it is a 9:00am. Went at 9:00am told, they were trying to call to reschedule...why didn't they say that at 8:00am. Bunch of Liars..!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO USE GROOMIMG SERVICES!!!!!@@@@!!!!!@!

They were very helpful with the information I needed concerning grooming and training. Their toys and treats are top notch. Checkout is fast and easy. They also have charities they help. Really awesome place.

Called ahead to see if they had cats (for a Christmas present for my daughter). They said they had 4. So I broke the news to my daughter that we were getting her one. They didn't have any at all. Daughter is now in tears. I won't have anything to do with this store.

Went to take our German shepherd in today. We have been going to petmart for 2-3 years. We’re from Texas. This is our first experience out of state and it was a terrible one. Our dog has high anxiety. We give him his anxiety meds before appointments. We dropped him off - went next door to a different store. In there for not even 5 minutes and we get a call about our dog is bleeding from his nose and we needed to come get him. He has a permanent scab/scar on his nose. About to size of a pea. He could scratch it on the carpet and it would pinken up. We hurry and check out at the store - go to pick him up. Are then informed they TOOK him to a vet WITHOUT disclosing nor discussing it with us. We drive across town to the vet to get our dog. It’s not even bleeding. The scab was picked probably from his nose hitting the kennel. We call up a different petsmart from another location to get him in. Only to be told we’re “not a good fit” and we will now be charged extra when we get him groomed to make sure we drop him off and pick him right back up. This is THE ONLY petsmart we have ever had a problem like this. Maybe if the employees would show up when they’re supposed to this wouldn’t of happen. The woman working was already agitated and was complaining about how another employee left her short staffed without warning. So since she was having a bad day — we can no longer take our dog to any other petsmarts. Even our normal groomer back in Texas who loves our dog and always complements how good he acts. Because she couldn’t handle a dog barking in a kennel for 5 minutes.WORST PETSMART — would never recommend.

DO NOT EVER TAKE YOUR DOGS HERE. Absolutely terrible service. Took my year and half old golden doodle in for groom and informed him of his heat rash. Durning their “check over” evaluation checked it and stated it would be fine no issues. Calls me back 10 mins later and tells me to come get my dog so I did. Didn’t inform me until I get there they already shaved half of him. Now I have a goldendoodle with one stripe cut out of his back. Please save your time and money cause it is not worth it. Wonder how they would feel if it was their dog??

Alysha did a fantastic job grooming our Golden Retriever. I really could not get over the quality and value. Bath, brush, blow out, nails, ears, paw pads trimmed and little bows all for $39! And she’s so soft and smells like strawberries and white chocolate according to my kids.

Made 2 trips, after my other half & I decided he wanted to go ahead & buy his boys a larger fish tank for Christmas. We got tips. (Hence the larger tank due to size of our existing fish. Set up the tank & came back to get the fish they had picked out..and both myself & other half got one as well. We were quite happy & will return

The employees were very polite & helpful. They asked if we needed any help immediately upon entering the store & even greeted our pet. They informed us of special deals & clearance items that were up to 75% off! Although we weren't planning on buying anything, we bought a very nice high quality scratching post for only $7! They had a wide variety of pet foods, toys, collars, harnesses, leashes, & other items on clearance for a terrific price! The store is very large with a huge selection of pets & products for pets of just about any species. They also have onsite pet grooming & a training area. Their merchandise is high quality. The cashier signed us up for their rewards program to help us save money on future purchases! We will definitely shop here again. We had a wonderful experience!

It's all good coming here for about 8years since we moved here. All has been well, till the last week. There is a cashier that has worked at other places and she's there, with hersame o same o , of rudeness unkind looks . I bought the wrong bag of dog food and hour later I come back for exchange. Upon entering I came up to her without realizing that she was there. She recognized me real quick with my face mask. I told her I bought the wrong bag, she just stared at me for a bit, then asked if I had my receipt, I told her no, she then again stared at me yet again then says, " well you need your recipe other wise I can't help you! I had to tell her how to do her job. Again stared at again! I told her to look me by my phone number and again stared! She did and again just stared me again! I said thank you, she then turns to the next customer and said ' I'm so sorry you had to wait on her!!!! I didn't want to deal with her then, it's late my pets were hungry and frankly I'm done with her. However next time I will speak with someone, I'm not just going to leave as is.

The employees here are awesome! An employee named Logan was very helpful. He didn't mind answering a million questions I had about bearded dragons and the right kind of food for my dog. It was nice to see someone who loves their job. He was very nice and caring. I would recommend this Petsmart to anyone for that reason.

Best location I've been to by far. Great service, always has what I need surprisingly, and the reptiles aren't in absolute despair. Always something on sale in a cart up front too. Very nice location for a reptile keeper.

Went in for items for our turtle tank 🐢 an the salesperson said we would have to purchase a $209 tank or else our turtle will die in front of my Lil girl an it scared her so we left an shopped elsewhere. Scare tactics is not a good selling point.

Just got back from taking my parti teacup yorkie to you all. I must say that I am totally disappointed with the "grooming" that I had asked to be done on her. She still had way to much fur on her and was not trimmed as she should have been. I paid for the work to be done and it was not done. I will not be bringing her back to you all. Seems to me that you all want paid for services that are not rendered at all. I will also not be referring to you to any of my family members or anyone else. This was at the PetSmart in Hopkinsville, KY..

Took my dog Spade for bath and furmanator today. Veronica was very nice and did curbside service for me. Spade looked so nice when I picked him up! He was very happy. Thank you so much for the great work done on Spade, he's sparkling clean and so handsome!
