I happened to be off for an appointment and was able to finally make my way into the Milkweed for the first time a couple of weeks ago. I came in with my son, and we were immediately greeted upon entering; both of the ladies present introduced themselves. The atmosphere was so zen and inviting. I couldn't stay in one place, as there were soooo many things that are catching to the eyes😁 I purchased a ring and soap for my mother as a gift. I was a little worried that the size would be off, but they let me know I could come back to exchange it. My gift was packaged perfectly, so I didn't have to wrap it myself (it's always the little details for me). Needless to say, my mother loved her gift AND the ring fit just fine. I look forward to going back; it has something for everyone!

Not just because of the cute little butterfly on her sign but because that's her personality very sweet and gentle and kind and enjoyable to interact with she is a pleasure and a joy to be around not only will you be immersed by the wonderful aromas but you will feel loved when you leave that store

Julie-Anna was so warm and welcoming. She truly made us feel welcomed in Hopkinsville and she was the first person to do this. The shop is beautifully organized and arranged, with things about that are sure to satisfy your curiosity. She made me and my girlfriend feel so welcomed and comfortable this is truly a one of a kind store that you cannot miss! The sage burned beautifully and it was so nice to cleanse our home. I also got unique incense that smell amazing and are hand rolled. Thank you so much for making us feel so loved and we can’t wait to come back!

First time here and really enjoyed it. They have a very large selection of candles, incense, natural homemade soaps, skin care lotions and potions too many to name. All natural products by local craftspersons including wind chimes, crystals, stones, unique one of a kind items and very large tea selection. MUST SEE if in the area or local. Can't wait to return.

Absolutely lovely. The owner is so helpful, patient, and kind. She knows so much, and she is so gentle as she shares that knowledge. Unreal service, out of this world kindness, and not to mention a big selection! She, and her charming friend, helped me to get exactly what I needed for an amazing price.Definitely recommend stopping by if you are in town. I know I will.

Milkweed hands down is one of the best places you can visit in downtown Hopkinsville. Never have I ever been in a store that feels so warm and inviting and left feeling better than how I did when I came in. The owner is the closest thing to a second mom and a sprit animal I have ever met.

This place is run by the sweetest soul. She is so caring and involved with the people in her community. Julie-Anna supports local artists, allowing those with a special craft to feature their work in her store. There are many things to look over, such as: Herbal teas, even cat nip, books, and precious stones. Reiki is offered by appointment, and I've seen specialty soaps, beautiful jewelry, and zodiac pottery mugs that call out to each sign. Here, you can findhealing properties as well as those things cutesy and spiritual. This is one of the most desirable places to visit in Hopkinsville, KY. I strongly recommend a visit, even if it's only to see the artwork displayed on the Milkweed walls. Her painting, and the story behind it is even bigger than the painting itself.

Being in new places always leaves me with a feeling of never ending confusion. As soon as I stepped in my mood went from nebulochaotic to absolute ease. Wonderfully smelling soaps as soon as you enter followed up with gorgeous quartz singing bowls. Crystals and Herbs were nicely stocked, even had several different loose tea blends. The workers and owner are quite knowledgeable. Warm blessings when met. I'd recommend this local business without a singular doubt in my mind. When I'm in town, this will be my go to place. The staff is very easy to talk to, the atmosphere is relaxing, some of the items can be pricey but I believe the saying 'You get what you pay for' applies here. The milkweed is the only place like it in hoptown. The owner is amazing and will help answer questions you have about the products in the store. It is a very tranquil place to shop. A huge selection of items that can only be found here. If you have never been in, you need to give yourself 30mins to just go and browse. They have things you did not even know you needed.
