I absolutely love coming into the store when I get the chance. I took my oldest daughter to see John and get her ears pierced. Schrecker's has been my "go to" jeweler on several recent occasions. They are so helpful in answering questions and providing recommendations. Some jewelry was sized, altered, re-designed. For one particular piece, based on their recommendation, no changes were made, which shows the customer's best interest is prioritized. I appreciated their personal, professional attitude and setting expectations for price and timeline (even exceeding that). I felt so welcome in their store.

I asked John to create a pendant from my and my deceased husband’s wedding bands. The result was simply amazing. I could not have asked for a more beautiful pendant. He even saved the inscriptions inside the wedding bands. I would recommend them to anyone.

I had a problem with the diamond setting on my ring, so I brought it in for repair. Mr. Schrecker fixed it and they also cleaned it and didn’t charge me at all. It looks great now and I’m so pleased! I enjoyed looking at their merchandise while I waited. They have a beautiful selection of jewelry and gifts, and everyone was very friendly and helpful.

This is a very nice store with very nice people, and always have wonderful items to buy. If you’re looking for a gift or something for yourself, stop in and check it out. They have a lot of beautiful crystal dishes and glassware also. they also have some wonderful local honey for sale most of the time.

I can’t say enough good things. Wonderful staff and the owners stand behind every purchase. I had a hard fall and bent a prong on my engagement ring and when I brought it by, it was fixed and cleaned before the end of the day! Another time I knocked lost a tiny stone out of my wedding band and even though it was their busiest day of the year (Christmas Eve) they still took it and fixed it for me. I will not go anywhere else for jewelry!

My husband and I were looking for a replacement for my first wedding set that was lost. We looked at all the chain stores but I wanted something less generic so we decided to see what J Schrecker had to offer. I'm so happy we did because I was able to find a ring that I love. We didn't feel pressured to buy and Mr. Schrecker was patient, attentive, informative and showed us rings that were beautiful and in our budget. I got a gorgeous ring and didn't have to break the bank! Overall our experience was fantastic and we will definitely shop here again.

They have beautiful pieces of jewelry. I buy mostly their estate items. I do not recommend them for repairs on jewelry. It took over a month and several phone calls to get my jewelry repairs done. When I did get it back it was perfect. Just took to long to get it back.

I went in to see if some of my jewelry was real gold or not. Mr. Schrecker was very kind and helped me out. He even taught me a trick to find out if my pearls were real! Turns out they were! Definitly go since the store is cozy and not overwhelming. He also has a cute little dog in the store. She's a sweetheart!

I went to Hopkinsville to visit Schrecker Jewelry store. I had rings that I want changed. John was very congenial and said he would reset the stones into another ring. However, the best part of the visit was taking time to love on Lucy. She is a small dog and loves everyone. I came to Hopkinsville to get my rings made because I know John will do a great job on them.
