I was drawn in by the homemade ice cream in the name of the establishment. And, it was good ice cream, the service was welcoming and friendly, and the dining area is neat, and quite spacious. I guess the only downside was $0.65 per topping, so my one scoop waffle bowl was around $7 with two toppings, but i think that is standard for today’s economy, and it is better to spend money at a local, small business than somewhere like Cold Stone.

Such a nice locally owned business! Took the kids on Saturday. The prices were fair and this ice cream was amazing!!! Even the 10 year old said “this tastes better than Dairy Queen”… and it does! My family will definitely add this to our list of places to eat.,BTW… the service was fast and friendly and the inside of the place was decorated so cute.Parking: Plenty of parkingKid-friendliness: Lots of seating and sturdy

Excellent ice cream and GLUTEN FREE cones! All natural. Very sweet for those with a serious sweet tooth. Great asset to Hopkinsville! Service was difficult to attain and could improve in friendliness today...I asked out loud if someone was present. I rang the bell five times. Just a heads up to the owners as exceptional customer service compliments any business!

The employee’s really seem to hate their jobs… super slow service. We waited about 35 minutes to get some ice cream. 2 major flavors were out of stock. Expensive ice cream shop $13 for 2 cones with 1 scoop no toppings….

This place is “cute as a button”The homemade banana ice cream is divine. The peach is pretty good. I tried other flavors & they were all so delicious. I will go back.They have a soft serve that is dairy free!Lots of coke choices. Tons of drink choices.Board games for a fun time. The vibe is laid back & welcoming. The decor is cute. There is a “child” area.It’s clean. Plenty of parking & DELICIOUS.it’s just off the interstate & worth the pull over- especially on a summer day, but you can never go wrong with this delicious homemade ice cream.

Was easier to tell me she couldn’t fix a vanilla ice cream, cherry syrup and sprite soda than fix me one. Oh well take my business elsewhere

We came here for our first time and loved it! This is such a cute little place! The ice cream is amazing! It is so kid friendly, we loved the play area and so did our toddler! Service was friendly and I loved the Christian music playing! We will absolutely be back!

If you like home made ice cream, you MUST try this place out. It's the best ice cream our family has tasted to date. Prices are really good too! Friendly staff and the inside of the ice cream shop is adorable!! The coffee flavored ice cream actually tasted like coffee. The girl working the counter said they make it with coffee grounds and it's a must try for all coffee lovers. We will definitely visit again when we are in Kentucky.

Absolutely delicious! Just randomly stopped to get the kids a treat and it is the best ice cream I have had in a long time. The staff was extremely friendly and prices are reasonable. We will be coming back again.

Great ice cream. I live four hours away and were visiting the beach at Pennyrile and this place was highly recommended by friends from the area. I'm so glad I made the drive into Hopkinsville to enjoy the best ice cream of Hop Town! We tried most of the fresh-made flavors and had trouble narrowing down to a decision. The staff were really kind and generous. I went with a waffle cone with banana (so amazing and full of fresh banana chunks and taste) and chocolate on top bursting with rich creamy chocolate flavor and bits. My wife got the chocolate and coffee (wow, I should have got a third dip 🤯). This was so good I wanted to make the trek back into Heather's to get it again on our way back home. I'm sad to say I didn't and now wish I had 😢🤤

I had no idea this place even existed until I saw them out at the Harvest Festival. I had some of their ice cream out there and now several times in their shop. It is absolutely the best ice cream I’ve ever had. The strawberry is absolutely my favorite. Give them a shot, you won’t regret it.

Heather Homemade Ice Cream is the best you will find around here. They are going into there fall and winter hours. So get in there and try it. I like there cup and Waffle cone Butter Pecan and Banana flavor!! Yum yum!

Absolutely the best ice cream I have ever eaten. I will be back with my whole family the next time. The story about Heather is inspirational. After reading about Heather's story on their website, as a father of four, I can't imagine the pain this family felt / went through. However, this family took a tragic situation and found a way to honor Heather's memory and serve their community. God bless this family and their community outreach/business.
