The store had been redesigned and cleaned up which was nice. The air conditioning was not working! It was 90 degrees outside and humid so it was very uncomfortable in the store. I understood from other customers that it is this way most of the time. I won't be back. I don't like to sweat while I shop!

Unbelievable. The cashier was too busy on her cell phone too do her job. Asked if they had an HDMI cable and she just shook her head no. Never stopped talking to her friend. On the wall right behind her was an HDMI cable. Asked for it and she still never said a word to me just carried on her conversation.

Luv the dollar general!! My store is 9th st. Or the blvd. But I go to a lot of them. Sarah and the girls at 9th street store are very friendly and helpful!!

Found what I needed easily. The cashier was no where in sight when I was ready to pay. I had to wait for her. Than after I got home I found out she charged me full price for something that was clearance. I so not live in the same town as this d.g. so it would cost me the amount just to go get it fixed. I will not be going back to this d.g. again

Employees were all right when they weren't cussing at each other. Store is dirty, more products on floor and carts than what is on the shelf. I'll use another location or different store.

People are pleasant, eager to help you find what you need. Sometimes it's quite busy. If it were slow all the time, you would wonder why. I go often. Sometime 2-3 times in a day or 2.

Went in tonight and yes Heather was very friendly to an elderly lady or may have been her manager if her name is Mary ! I was running late for work and the line was outrageous and when I first got there I had been in the shoe show so out of common curtousy and respect for your store I handed the lady my bag mind u I had two hours to get to work no one cared that there was 11 to 12 people waiting with just a few items so 14 minutes went by still hadn't gotten done with the first customer was getting no where so I placed my stuff back IN ITS APPROPRIATE PLACE and left leaving my items from the shoe show there I called at 8:30 pm no answer I looked on the web page they closed at 9 pm and at 8:30 didn't answer the phone and further more every Dollar General i have been to in Hopkinsville stays open until 10 pm someone dropped the ball tonight and Heather picked it up (the ball) and opened her register to help I was so upset and 😖 and dissapointed that I totally forgot that I left my Jordans and my new purse the shoes I bought were on my feet so I expect to be getting my bag ASAP in the morning !

Company has recently reorganized the store which is great. Much easier to find items now. The staff is pretty good. Just wish company would repair the doors, they are hard to push open, especially if you are older.

I can usually run in and out. Has the basics in everyday needs. Seems to need more help. The line has been pretty long lately but the cashiers still stay friendly.

Local Dollar general store. Convenient here right off highway and in the business core of hoptown. Good selection lots of clover valley products which help save a ton on cereal and other cooking ingredients. Shipping carts are a bit cumbersome but they always are at Dollar general stores.

Lafayette Road store is nasty(dirty). The Restrooms are always out of Order. Aisles are all cluttered up. The whole store Needs a Good Cleaning.

It's my around the corner store like a convenient market. They have some unique product. But mostly my household product needs. They have been here for decades and several around the city.

Usually have no issues and can find what i need. Their credit card machine does not like US Bank debit cards with non working chips.

A lot of merchandise was sold out, but the isles are not as crowded as a few others in town. A little bit cleaner too.

I go to the store on Lafayette road, and always end up going to this store to get my Items. The one on Lafayette always falls short on stock.

Everytime I come in here people are always in a different place in line and one guy threw a bag of chips at me that he pooped in then he ran outside and disappeared into the sewers.
