My husband stopped by there about an hour ago to pick up a 12 pack of Pepsi, he noticed that a sign stating that Pepsi products was 3 -12 pack for $11.00 , when he went to the register to make his purchase the Manger on duty was very rude, stating that he wished people could read, that they wasn't 3 -12 pack $11,My husband proceeded to tell him that there was a sign there. So my husband left without making his purchase, this Dollar General has lost this family's business, we were in there several times during the week. Very upset customers!!!!I myself have encountered this rude manger over a bag of Puppy Chow.

My low rating is due to this store always being out of everyday items, wait time to check out and their system seems to constantly go out. I've never had a rude cashier until today my mother was behind me while I was checking out and cashier said well you'll just have to wait my mother wasn't even speaking to her, she said it very snotty, her name is Stormy, she's a manager which is crazy, they'll hire anyone! My rating is strictly due to not having stock and slow check out times, plus not knowing if you'll be able to use debit/credit or cash. I'd say it's the company but the dollar general down the road always has stock... Management is trash at this location, the males are good employees and kind

I like to go into new Dollar Stores and haven't had good reviews to share, but my area, Hopkinsville, has a new area manager and he has made some excellent progress and changes. This store was tidy, not cluttered, no boxes in the aisle, bathroom clean and even more friendly associates. This is an example of how to to run a Dollar store. Thanks Justin and associates for your hard work.

The staff is always very polite and respectful. It is kept clean and they do have a Redbox out front of the store. I absolutely do recommend shopping at this location. They have a good selection as well as a nice variety of sales.

Worked here for 6 months just to be treated like crap as an employee from the store manager saying I have to be perfect and I couldn't make mistakes and even when sometimes when I was just a few minutes late for work he would get on to me but yet he was late over an hour opening the store most of the time and I had to sit in the parking lot waiting for him. Rude, disrespectful and nasty attitude made me quit there today and I don't ever plan to return for anything.

I have been here about 5 times. Each time the store is a mess. It is extremely disorganized and half of the shelves need restocked. I only go here because it is the closest store to my house and I don't have to drive all the way into town. I wish the employees would try harder to keep up the store.*update* Even 2 years later (and after a remodel) this store is still amazingly messy and disorganized. There are always boxes stacked within the middle of most isles, blocking many shelves with products. I have witnessed many frustrated folks just leave because they cant get to the item they need/want. This seems to be the norm for hoptown and all the different dollar stores here.

I wasn't given a zero star option but it would have been my first choice. The store is a total wreck, very unorganized which in my opinion leads to loss/theft of merchandise. Oh well, I suppose that's the brunt offering for the night walkers. Oh and don't have a cell phone and try to shop there because every employee is linked to a certain circle in Hopkinsville and are scripted on how to treat you, in my opinion.

I do not like to give a low rating but at this particular store the cashier's move very slow lines are always backed up! On top of that they do not keep their shelves replenished... on many occasions I have been there and they are out of the dog food I need they only carry one brand puppy food and they do not keep it stocked ... furthermore when I ask for help or ask them to open another line they do help me but I can tell by body language facial expressions but they are very frustrated with my requests I find it to be rude and impolite

This is one of the absolute worst dollar generals. It's disgusting. Merchandise everywhere. There's always kids running and playing through the store who belong to somebody who works there. There's hardly anything on the shelves but you'll see what you need on a cart somewhere in the aisle. It's terrible.

Most of the staff here are so eager to help and super friendly. They always have really neat things that i can't find anywhere else. A lot of stuff is cheaper here too. Love my dollar general.

They never have what I'm looking for, the store is disorganized, always a mess with boxes every where. Long lines don't go there if ur in a rush because u will wait a pretty good while before checking out.

I love Dollar General in general. The 3 start review is due to the store always being messy and there is Always a line at checkout. Most the time there is only 1 cashier and it takes forever to checkout.

Very rude blonde lady, male employee came in swearing, lots of totes.. shelves are almost bare, but the 2 older blonde ladies were just plain and simply rude.

I love this DG ! Every employee is super friendly and always willing to help with whatever I need. Going to the back and getting things that are not even put out yet is something i love that they always do for me .

It's in a great location, but I'd say it's one of the most busyness dollar stores in the town, Clearly under staffed, and store can be trashed some days, parking lot always trashed, never has stock on shelves

This is the worst dollar General in hopkinsville by far. When you go in and you can't even walk through without nearly falling and hurting yourself, I believe theres a problem. Not only that, they are always out of things or have a very limited variety of anything. It's just horrible. I think this place could use some help. Can I give less than one star?

Employees are usually courteous and professional. However the aisles are often blocked by carts of unstocked merchandise making it very difficult to shop.

They always only have 1 cashier. The cashier has terrible customer service. The workers in the aisle will see a long line and still won't come help. Hate going to this dollar general. I'll keep going to the one on North Main.

Store was very dirty stuff allOver the floor half of the rows you could not get thur because of so much junk in them you do have enough help you have to stand in line for along time to get check out I have left my cart with the things I needed and walk out went some where else.

It is most often out of merchandise as opposed to the one further down. I stop at this one for convenience sake. It is clean and has the friendliest staff.

This store has went down the hill shelves never stocked always on the carts in the middle of the ILES stuff don't match tags on the shelf some of the people r nice some are not and some work hard some are plum lazy they staying in the office instead they should be stocking the shelves floors are dirty all around I would only give this store one star rating unless something is done and another thing 3 cash register only 2 working people backed up in the store waiting to check out and 2 people working y have 3 registers when 2 is only working and the rest are in the back room

Dollar General..great prices and products. I consider it a mini Walmart. When you need to run in and grab a product, this is the place. The clothes are fashionable and the products are always up to date.
