This store has good meat but the rest of the merchandise is all over the map in pricing. I moved from California and everything is over priced there. Within 2 weeks some chips my husband likes went from 4.99 to almost 7 dollars lactose free milk is double of Walmart. And merchandise is not consistent. The produce is not so hot eitherThe meat is the only good quality and value in the store cause God knows I won't buy Walmart meat. 😔

The pick 5 meats deal great, but their prices on everything are higher than Walmart. You're better off going to Walmart and saving money! Milk is very expensive at sureway. Your points go away, so don't try and save up a bunch of points because they disappear.

I've been shopping at the 2nd Street store since moving here in 2004. The staff are all friendly. There few times that there was any issues, it was ALWAYS resolved quickly and with professionalism. The young Lady that works customer service, Mindy, always take good care of my 86 years old Mom. I appreciate that.♥️

Prices are a little higher than Walmart and the selection isn’t as wide but it’s extremely convenient. And way less busy. I always use this as my go to store if i just a need a few items.

Why go to Walmart grocery and fight through all of that? Sureway might not have their selection but it's so much easier to get in and out quickly.Produce definitely seems fresher here. The deli is SO much better. Best fried chicken in town and a much better value than fast food chicken!

When you shop watch the dates on their products most are out of date. Watch the cashiers when getting change they sometimes short change you by at least $5 or more, make sure to get your receipt. Best thing in the store is the fried chicken and the workers in the deli.

We have 3 Sureway markets in Henderson and this one is the best. The store is well stocked. It's clean and has the best deli. Their fried chicken is so good and very reasonable . Deli food & chicken is always fresh because it's sold so quick. Staff are very friendly. Meat dept has some of the best fresh meat.

Prices are riduculous! I used to stop in regularly until the broccoli went to $5.00 per lb . I thought it was per package. Got home and realized I had paid $7.19 for two regular sized crowns. I only go if I need one item in a hurry.

I know you may find it odd to rate a smaller grocery store 4 stars. In this age of nameless big box store and self check outs sureway offers superior customer service. They still have bag boys carry out your groceries. They are happy to answer questions. They are very customer focused. Also they have awesome fried chicken. Give them a try

Really its the only store in town....All the sureways in town have differant prices....Watson Lane is the highest....Sand Lane is the cheapest but they dont have stock a lot of times....Second St.is the one i got to because they have ok prices....I will not drive to walmart or rulers unless im on that in of town....

The kids that work there dump fruit on top of the other fruit, which results in all the fruit being bruised. And the management does not honor marked prices even when they made a mistake marking it. Prices too high anyway, and they refuse to carry organic produce.

Price is more on lot's of items compared to going to "WM" or another large store.Their deli is pretty good for the chicken, catfish and other items. I'd definitely recommend Sureway for this. But just like WM make sure to look at the price first.

I love being able to run in and out so quickly, at Sureway. Sometimes they dont carry everything I need, such as Mascarpone Cheese, and Swiss Miss Mocha Cappuccino, that I needed today, for a recipe.However the friendly, ample staff makes up for this.Plus, they have the best fried chicken in town!

Great Customer service!!! In all of my life I've never shopped at a grocery store where the Bagger helped me take my groceries out. HOWEVER, This place is really expensive. Even more expensive then the prices in Evansville.... 3 giant cans of green beans, 4 large bags of corn on the cob, 3 cases of sodas (3 for $10) was $45.00 (geesh😲)

My husband went into Sureway this afternoon to get some chicken that was on sale. When he brought it home I looked at the receipt and that instead of them charging a dollar a pound they had charged $1.59 a pound. When I called the store instead of the people in the office handling it they transferred me to the meat department. The guy I talked to said "Well it was only $.59" I thought to myself no it was right at $5.00 with all the chicken we bought. It made me mad so I sent my husband back to the store and told him to return the chicken and get our money back. We live out in the county and by the time it was all said and done the chicken had been out of the fridge for around 45 minutes. I wasn't going to take any chances with it being spoiled. We've got spoiled chicken from them before. It is ridiculous that they want to act like it isn't anything. No telling how much money they have cheated people out of today.

Coming from my home in Florida where everything, including the grocery stores are big and always busy,it's such a nice,welcoming treat to comeback to my hometown to a clean,friendly and easy to shop in grocery store like this Sureway.

Came to Henderson to check on my mom. New rule about masks being worn all the time just started. Made a grocery run for mom and a giant blonde haired woman behind the counter in the "deli" was stomping around laughing and hacking without a mask. It would've just been disgusting before. But considering the circumstances, it's unprofessional and negligent of the company. A smaller woman was also behind the counter cleaning while wearing a black mask. I don't know why she didn't correct her coworker. I wont shop there anymore and by the look on the faces of other shoppers who watched what I saw, I wont be the only person to avoid that place in the future.
