After reading some of the reviews I wasn’t sure about going in but, I’m glad I did. She has an abundant selection of fish. All the tanks were clean and fish looked healthy. I was upfront and told her I wouldn’t be spending any money today because I was unaware that she didn’t take credit or debit, she explained why she didn’t accept cards “I refuse to raise my prices over service charges”. She went out of her way to pull out order forms to tell me exactly when she was going to get what I was looking for. She seems like a really sweet, knowledgeable, and caring lady.

The owner is a very nice lady who is very knowledgeable. My family went in to get some things for turtles we got elsewhere and she was very helpful in making sure we had all if the supplies we needes and actually seemed to care about the well being of two turtles she hadn't ever laid eyes on. If I could give more than 5 stars I would.

This place is gross!!! The tanks are absolutely filthy and have dead decaying fish, red algea and mold! The stock at this store is little to none and the fish do NOT look healthy and happy. The store can refuse service based on attitude, from previous reviews it seems the owner has the attitude. The lady in there didnt talk to me for a while, didnt ask if I needed help. That's ok I'll go else where... where it doesnt stink and has a healthy fish stock.

It's small but the owner gets to know you and exactly what you need, especially if you frequent the place like I do. I buy mice for my snake here. She specializes in mostly fish. Great place to buy fish, mice, crickets, millworms, super worms, birds and hamsters.

This woman is not only rude but is very hateful and mean to children for no reason. She ran off 1 of her 5 customers today. I do not see how she stays in business, the store is nasty and smells awful that mixed with a horrible personality. She is a crazy old bat.

A wonderful pet shop. Such a kind lady. She was able to get me some Roseline sharks/Denison Barbs for a lower price than anyone else. Very informative advice from years of experience. Better than most advice from the Internet for sure!

This is a great small town pet store. The owner, Mary, knows a lot about the animals and products in her store. Her helpfulness doesn't end with a sale either. I bought a wonerful ball python from her a few years ago and she is always there to offer advice or find answers if that are any issues. Henderson is lucky to have such an honest shopkeeper in Mary. She really cares about the animals and wants her customers to be happy. Yay!

I have purchased fish from here several times, she has always seemed very knowledgeable, an if she doesn't know she won't guess. I like a straight answer. It is a small store, but wat it lacks the owner makes up for in experience.

We went to see if they had a long dog leash, as soon as we walked in she started griping. She did nothing but be rude the entire time, we asked if she wanted to sell something and she said no Evansville people don't know how to pay for anything. Just flat out rude and disrespectful to people that want to buy things from her shop. Won't go back again.

She is the only pet shop around here so I go to her for frozen food. But she boasts about wanting to get bought out, when the fish are in bags she just tosses them around, the majority of her tanks are filthy, all of her fish just about have ick, and she's kind of snooty. I don't enjoy going there, I try to be in and out as fast as I can. The fish I did get from her all died

Have gone to this store for years… Owner is very knowledgeable about all types of fish… all the fish I have bought from there have been healthy and have done well in my aquarium.
