My kitten needed a vet today and spur of the moment Dr.Turley agreed to see and treat her. The vibe here is comforting and welcoming from the moment we entered the door. Everyone was professional, friendly and informative. Dr. Turley was so attentive to Callie and addressed any concerns that I had. I felt reassured and informed when I left. It was a very good experience.

It's clean and up to date. The staff is friendly. I wish that all of the vaccine would have been put into my pet's nose. ( They didn't put her head back. The medicine went up, then back out.)I felt like that was money down the drain.Both vaccines were nearly 200 dollars!! That's too much!

I rarely leave neg. reviews. But this place 100% trains their staff in the fine art of upticking sales with add-ons through cunning little keyphrase tactics at the counter. That wasn't a comfortable feeling. I've always felt pet owners to be vulnerable to these strategies. Sadly, It's not really uncommon for this whole industry, but this place is obvious. I felt rushed, stuck & guilty of something if I declined a service.

If I could give zero stars, I would. Despite a few unpleasant visits at this facility, I decided to give them one more try. Not only did I get treated like the lack of communication between their front desk and their vet techs was my fault somehow, I left with a $70 bill and no answer to what was wrong with my cat. I instructed them to please call with any questions while they worked to try to figure out what was going on with my cat. I received zero phone calls until they called to tell me that my pet was ready to be picked up. Apparently when I spoke to someone at their office the day before and went over the list of issues/concerns that I had with my pet, none of that information was relayed to anyone who needed it. Not even put in his chart. The head vet tech explained that was my fault for not adding it to their intake sheet upon drop off. Maybe it is my fault for assuming that my ten minute conversation with the mystery employee who was taking my phone call might actually be writing some of it down and/or would have instructed me to add it to the intake sheet to be sure that the vet saw it. Either way, I won't be returning with any of my animals.

Reasonable prices with a caring staff. Wait times can sometimes be long because of busyness. Boarding prices are a good value. I highly recommend the Animal Hospital.

Seems like a busy rushed place.I took a sick rescue cat in, and they immediately assumed I wanted to euthanize her.They did give detailed explanation of her services for the day.They are on the expensive side. $28-38 for a $9 bottle of clavomox.

The staff is always caring, kind, and pleasant. The doctors are very knowledgeable and have an excellent bedside manor. I wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. The prices are very comparable to other local vets, as well.

We had to say Good-Bye to our sweet baby Chloe' on May 6th! The Vet believes she had a stroke and threw a blood clot to her lungs. There's always that one special baby and she was ours. She loved us beyond belief as we did her. She guarded her domain and family like no other. She left us too soon. She was only 10-11 yrs old. Never was real sure as she was a rescue. This has been some of the hardest few days of my life. She was always by our side. Always loving. Hardest thing we ever had to do was to let her go. She lost all her motor skills in a few short minutes...Had to send that baby over rainbow bridge. I told her we were by her side...I will miss that little angel till I meet her again! The pain is all too real.Chloe', 2011' is when we got her...We think per Vet, to have been one yr old at that time. Hopefully she is chasing butterflies & squirrels! She will be in our hearts forever! She was a mini dachshund. So much love in one little girl! Shout out to Dr. Tim Cottingham and Dr. Joanna Stallings and the rest of their caring team at The Henderson Animal Hospital. They took excellent care of her over the years. A special Thank You to Dr. Stallings for walking her over rainbow bridge with us. They have always went above & beyond! Chloe' loved you all, too!

I have had very good experiences with them. My dog is old so I have to take him quite often. They have been unbelievably patient with us. The only thing that made me give them 4 star is that sometimes the wait even if you get there on time is a little too long. Other than that they are great.

I took my dog there to see Dr Stallings but she wasn't there that day. My neighbor who just retired as a vet recommended her. I seen Dr Cottingham and wasn't very impressed. He wasn't polite and he was rude. He talks bad about other vets and one is my neighbor that just retired. He's the.only one who has ever said anything bad about him. I'm not saying Dr Cottingham isn't a good vet but I myself would rather not take my dog back to him. As for the front desk, everyone there was very nice and helpful.

My husband and I live in FL but travel back and forth for family. We were lucky and on one of those trips we met one of the neighbors because her cat had a litter under our house. We are cat people and always travel with our two fur children. On this trip my neighbor presented three approximately 10 day old kittens from her newest litter. Another neighbor had touched them without realizing, so she wouldn't get near them. We immediately got set up with formula, warmers, heating pad, etc. By 8pm they were warmed, bathed and fed. Then the worst night of our lives happened. At 10 pm a kitten was shrieking, we tried everything till we saw the poor babies ear, she was infested with maggots. We had a very long night of tears and trying anything and everything to make them comfortable. We were informed there was nothing we could do. They were so very tiny and young, so the meds would likely kill them and the alternative was even worse. I was appalled at the suggestions given to me by vet offices. I was disgusted and losing hope when Dr. Cottingham and staff stepped in to help. They, without charge, took the 3 babies and treated them in the most humane method possible with a lot of love and respect for these 3 tiny angels. Without them we wouldn't have been able to give these babies the comfort and care they deserved. When you're not from town getting into a vet immediately becomes a major ordeal. We received the total opposite from Cottingham and staff, they just wanted to help us care for these babies in the best possible way. I know if either of our cats ever needs care while in Henderson we will always take them to Dr. Cottingham and his staff. I don't know how we would have made it thru that day without them and can't express my gratitude enough.

The front desk woman was rude over the phone and scolded me like a child. She then hung up in my face after she told me I better be to my appointment on time or I’ll lose it. Then when I came in, she sarcastically thanked me for coming in today. Other than that, the other staff were nice and took care of my dog accordingly. The prices are fair and most of the staff will treat you and your pet with respect. I would have loved to give this place the 5 stars it deserves but they have some rotten apples working there.

Moved to the Henderson area a year ago. We brought our cat here for a general checkup and shots. We were treated well including a few care tips as our cat who was experiencing digestive issues due to age. Recently our cat took a turn for the worse. Despite limitations due to COVID-19, our cat was promptly treated. We received extensive personal communication about our cat’s prognosis via phone. Ultimately our cat decided for herself that she was ready to go, which the team handled respectfully even though we couldn’t be there by her side in her final moments. The kindness shown to us was appreciated.

Very unhappy with service and professionalism..I have been taking my dogs here for several years now. When I first starting coming here, service was good, and they seemed to actually care about my babies.The past year I've noticed a huge difference..i have a sick dog right now, and I've called 5 times today, and left messages as directed. No reply back all day. I finally just drove up there and called in again (due to Covid, you can't just walk in) ... so I called and let them know I was there. An employee walked out to another car, and when finished, I asked her if she could have them call me. She walked away without acknowledging me. So, I called again and left a message (#6) to get a copy of his records so I could take him elsewhere. I immediately got a call back! Couldn't call me back for a sick dog, but immediately did when requested records. They then apologized and asked what they could do... uh, nothing now... I will take my dogs and my money elsewhere. I would not recommend the Animal Hospital on Klutey Park Plaza to anyone. This is not a one time experience, this has happened on a few occasions this past year or two. I feel like they don't care about your animals, and don't listen to your concerns. Thought that was why they were there to begin with? My dogs are like my kids, and only the best will do...

I registered my dog 2 weeks ago to stay at the Animal Hospital foor 2 weeks. I was scheduled to bring her in tomorrow 4/16/2022. I got a call today 4/15/2022 telling that they cannot check her in on Saturday and when I said I could bring her in today, I couldn't. So they gave me today to find another place to take her. I am leaving on the 17th. I was understandably upset. Not sure I would recommend to anyone this place.

At first I thought this was a great place to take my pet but boy was i wrong. I have never been to another vet besides for spaying and my cat is always in great health never has any problems. shes only 10 months old. i took her here to be declawed and shes not a bad cat but she doesnt like new people. they declawed her and threw her back in her pet carrier. there was blood covering ever inch of the inside of that cage. i have video evidence. they didnt even wrap her paws. and i know for a fact they didnt put her in there right before i got there because the blood was dry and she wasnt bleeding on the way home. Ever since she got home shes been itching like crazy. and my cat is only an indoor cat and is never around other animals. She has been scratching this entire time ( its only been like 8 days since her surgery) and today i look closely and she has fleas all over her face and neck. I am very upset theres no other explanation for this. than this place. very unhappy.

I have taken all my dogs to this place for 20+ years always gotten care and professionalism. I've never been treated in such a rude unprofessional manner until today. So I take my dog in because of a large lump on his side rib cage. I explained when making the appointment he needed tests for cancer, something to explain what's happening to my dog. They test his blood for heartworms and his stool for digestive. Charged me over $200 for 15 mins worth of work, no itemized bill showing me what they did to treat my dog. Said they needed to bring him back in for more tests and possible surgery for more money. Instead of properly diagnosing my dog. So they sent me out the door, saying my dog just has arthritis and to keep an eye for 2 more weeks on the lump. And they couldn't test him to treat him today it was an inconvenience for them. So when I got to check out, they didn't read his chart. The Vet stated I was to bring my dog back for more evaluation in 2 weeks after the holidays. The Vet stated they wanted another $175 plus a deposit for the surgery or tests. So they gave me arthritis medicine and excuses for my dog that could have cancer. If I could this place a zero I would. DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE! They will do nothing but give the animal pain meds and keep charging you for no proper diagnosis of the problem over and over again. They tried blaming me because I didn't tell them when I was paying $200 for nothing but pain meds for my dog to make another appointment for my dog. When the Veterinarian requested my dog to come back after 2 weeks. Then the office manager gets rude and unprofessional with me, because she forgot to schedule another appointment. Said she doesn't have time for it. There are many other places in the area that will take care of your animals then this dump. The Vet seems like she either on street drugs or heavily medication herself. The father was the backbone of this establishment and its a shame the daughter has ruined his hard work. I will never take any animal here.

I've used Animal Hospital for a number of years, and have never had an issue. The staff are wonderful!! Very caring and compassionate people. I can't thank them enough for the empathy and care they not only show to my animals, but to my family as well. I highly recommend.

Dr.Stallings and the staff were very friendly, compassionate, and caring. My cat “Little man”, was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy at the age of 2 and after visits with vet specialist from Louisville that come to Evansville once a week the diagnosis was very poor. When the time came to end suffering, they were very compassionate and allowed me to spend his last minutes with me. They are an awesome team!

I have taken my cats and dog to Dr. Cottingham for several years, and really liked Dr. Cottingham. However, I had not been there since I had a cat put down 3 years ago. I asked them to see my cat, who they had treated before and they refused. Said since I had not been there for 3 years that I would be considered a new client, and during COVID, they are not accepting new clients. 🙄
