They got our order wrong almost on both sandwiches. They put lettuce on a pizza sandwich. On the sausage They didn't put any sausage at all that you could eat. They turned a sausage sandwich into a pizza one by putting black olives, tomatoes, and pepperoni on it which we had to take off. They didn't put any onions which was asked for, And the customer service acted as if they could not hear us.

I'm a a 🚛 truck driver and decided on something different for dinner WOW!!!I'm glad I tried this place..The very first 🍕 slice I tried took me back in time to the old school pizza joints from New York...... Wow I was stunned I couldn't believe it , how just one bite brought back those memories of my child hood years....Great pizza doesn't even being to do it justice.... Had fried mushrooms they were average (good).... But the cheesecake I got for dessert was AWESOME!!!! I live over in Somerset Kentucky a 2 hr drive from Hazard but I will have to bring the family down here sometime to try the experience for them selves...

We stopped here for a short break and took advantage of the lunch special. Personal pizza for a little over $6. It was good. We talked to Butch and Andrea, they were really nice. They have a comfortable seating area. They have other options besides pizza.

It had been a while since we had eaten at Giovanni's in Hazard, and my son and I were happy that we stopped! My son had a large pepperoni piza,which he said was delicious, and I had the steak hoagie and fries. Everything was delicious. I loved the hoagie! The garlic lettuce and the bread they used were the perfect complement to make the hoagie stand out. The fries were perfect, and there were plenty enough to share. My son and I will be going back to Giovanni's again in the near future! It's definitely worth the time to stop by and grab a delicious meal for a reasonable price!

I grew up eating this pizza, best pizza and sandwiches ever. I live about 4 hours away now, but if I know of anyone going to Hazard, I call and place my order and have them bring it home to me.Ask for your cheese on top of the pizza, the submarines and steak sandwiches are to die for. Love this place, prices are very reasonable and service is outstanding.

The staff here are friendly and genuinely care about customer satisfaction!They made me a cheese burger that was very good.Cooked fresh perfectly, ripe tomatoes, good bread, huge & Delicious!So if your wanting a great cheese burger go to Giovanni's Pizza don't waste time and money at Steak'n shake. Ya ya'll !

Our food was Awful! We paid almost 70$ to get the wrong Sandwich made, Which was supposed to have sausage on it, Instead came with pepperoni, black olives, tomatos like a pizza sandwich. Wish we could just have our money back for the food but for a hour drive to get our food and an hour home wish they would have gotten the order right. They put lettuce on my pizza sandwich. That was supposed to be on the sausage one.

Very over priced. Our pizza crust wasn’t baked done still white and they didn’t fix it with the toppings we ordered. Cost us $22 for a 12 inch pizza with just meat. They cashier was very nice and did give me back 3.50 for leaving off my 2 toppings.

Stopped in here today on our way through Hazard. The food is absolutely AMAZING! The staff was great. The absolute best part is the cake! We brought 4 slices of various flavors home with us. Each of them are unbelievable! Nearly a pound of cake in each piece. We will most definitely make the trip to Hazard to just to eat!!!!

We ordered the biggest inch pizza on the menu thinking it would be a large. Ended up being EXTRA large 😂 tasted really good though. They have thinner crust without it being crispy. (I hate crispy thin crust) the baked pasta was really good and big enough I had dinner for the next day. Sandwiches are good and the cake portions are HUGE and delicious.

I didn't know the burgers were huge, thought they sold me a cheap burger for 6 bucks, but to my surprise it was a very good burger and like 8oz of meat. I'm giving this 1 star review because the owner confronted me about the being nosy about prices and whether the workers make a good wage making such expensive gas station burgers. After I found out the sandwiches were oversized I retracted my statement and said I have no issues with the price considering the portions you received. However the owner had to come out and flaunt his feathers about being a disgruntled customer well after the issue had been settled. His attitude was threatening and aggressive, I disarmed the situation by apologizing and letting the guy know it was a misunderstanding and he still pressed until I had to reiterate there was no issue here. All in all good food, just don't complain about anything or the dude running the place will overreact in a very disproportionate manner.

I bought a steak sandwich and not only was it outrageously high priced, it was the worst sandwich that I ever tried to eat. My dog spit it out and he eats #2. The only thing I could taste was garlic and oil. I wish I would have stayed home and made my own sandwich and I would be $9 better off and wouldn't still be hungry. I will never be there again.

I don't believe a Large 16" Meat Lovers Pizza should cost $22 and 16" Cheese St is cost $13.49 Please yall don't waste your money on this pizza. Dough wasn't completely done slightly brown on bottom found bits and pieces of uncooked dough under the sauce. It was a turnoff for us. Please fix this. The only good part of it were your desserts.

Working from out of state.. the pizza was average at best... I read the reviews before I ordered a pizza. We definitely have different definitions of GREAT. Pizza crust was soggy. I wouldn't go out of my way to have it again or recommend it unless it is a last resort.

I love this place. It's got great food and I always get great portion size for the price. However, no one seems to want to answer the phone when I try to call in an order. It takes forever to get someone and usually they tell me that it is to late to take my order. We try to order from work *which is right up the hill from the store* around 9PM and it takes like 30 minutes to get anyone to answer the phone. This is one of the only places that will deliver and its so disappointing. I'm not sure what is going on because it wasn't always like this. I guess it'll be a burger from Wendy's again.

Best Ice Cream in town period hands down. Butch and the crew put out some amazing food. Staff is super friendly. We eat here multiple times a week and it never gets old. Highly recommend

Ordered a large supreme and small cheese pizza. The pizza had not been cut. Neither pizza was cooked the dough was so undercooked after we had cut it it fell apart because the dough still looked as though it had just come out of the fridge. Worse pizza I have ever had in my life.
