We visit this store about every 6-9 months. We always find nice vintage antique items. The store is always clean. The only part I dislike, he doesn't accept credit cards. I found this beautiful vintage table cloth.

The most beautiful collection of antique books and vintage home items. Truly a unique antique store! I enjoyed my time browsing here and found lots of new additions to my Victorian book collection. I loved the atmospheric background music as well :) I look forward to my next visit in Harrodsburg!

Lots of books! Mostly organized by genre. If it's not on the shelves, you don't need to read it. There are enough books that you can certainly find something to read. I didn't need help finding what I wanted, but I heard the gentleman behind the counter giving a customer assistance to find what he was looking for. Some old classics, history, war, fiction, biography, even cook books, but not so many.Also has lots of unique antique pieces, as many, perhaps, as he has books.Certainly worth a look.There is a Facebook page with more information under, "Sampson Antiques, Book & Appraisals"

I am an antique lover. At Sampson's, there is so much to look at, a very wide variety of beautiful antiques. From furniture & glassware (dishes) to books and children's toys, this is any antique lover's dream shop!! I believe some things here to be a bit over-priced, but, even if you do not buy a thing, still well worth checking out.

An old fashioned sort of "curiosity shop" seldom found today, even in Kentucky. The shop and its proprietor strive to provide quality in antiques and tomes.
