They saved my dogs life! I didn't get to the HH hospital until late afternoon on Friday. They were about to close but the veterinarian was patient and seen my dog and discovered an infection that would kill her in a few days. He and his staff stayed after hours to ensure my dog diamond lived. Very good very friendly. I'm very grateful if you are ever worried about your animal, this is where I'd go. Very professional veterinary service. 10/10. Ps diamond says thank you for saving my life!!!

I am so thankful for Harrodsburg Animal Hospital and that my small town has access to great quality care for our furry family members. Dr. Alex and Dr. Thomas and their wonderful staff have helped me immensely in the care of my 11 year old Boxer. From diagnosing a rare kidney disease, to easing his arthritis, and everything in between. Their practice is straightforward when it comes to costs of care and their willingness to answer my questions and help with anything that came up always gave me assurance that my pup was well tended to in their care.

I would highly recommend Harrodsburg Animal Hospital. Very friendly staff. They got me in the same day I called. No waiting for days to see my sick dog. People are friendly and great. They do not push you to do anything you dont want to do to your pet.So much more I need to add on this review. From the front desk staff to the vets they were so understanding and compassionate. I knew my Ryan was not doing well. I carried him in crying all the way. Staff got him a comfy blanket the vet came in and was so sweet to us both. Even through all my snot and tears she made it the best experience possible! She sat with me in the floor as he passed and talked to me. In one of the hardest times and decisions in a pet moms life she really showed exceptional support and understanding. I will never go anywhere else as long as I am living near Harrodsburg!!

Best vet in town. They actually perform very thorough physical exams (not just glance and say “this is the problem”). We took our Saint Bernard in, and Dr. Alex took her time, and let our dog, Mollie, warm up to her first. Every visit here so far has been a success. Highly recommend!

I have taken my standard poodle, Millie, to Harrodsburg Animal Hospital and am in awe of how sweet the front desk staff is, how nice the vet techs were as well as gentle and caring. The vet was very informative and explained everything in detail. He took his time to talk to me and wasn’t rushed or trying to leave the room to get to other task. Our Molly is 7 years old. Dr. Spaulding has been her vet from the day we got her. She has had excellent care. He is very gentle and kind. The staff are all very friendly. I wouldn't take her anywhere else. I highly recommend them.

Very pleased with the service and staff at Harrodsburg Animal Hospital. After taking our dog in, we received several calls during the day to keep us posted on his status and received a follow-up call from the vet to see how he was doing. Kind, compassionate, and friendly and with fair pricing.

Dr. Thomas Turcott and staff at Harrodsburg Aninal Hospital were amazing. I am new to the area and my older Pug was losing mobility. Eventually, we decided to do a home euthanasia. I can't say enough positive things about this vet and their staff. It was a difficult decision, but they made the entire experience less difficult and peaceful for our fur baby. I will be taking all of my animals here and establishing care with this practice!

We called after hours with a sick puppy. They called us back with in seconds. And we was at their office with in 45 min. By far the best vets I’ve found. We felt like family soon as we arrived and knew our puppy was in the best hands. 10/10 recommended

The vet was amazing, so were the techs, my first time taking any animal to the vet, let alone my sick 9 month old kitten! Good, timely appt, didn't cost me NEARLY what I thought it would, & they didn't get aggravated when i called every single day after the appt to update/ask "is this normal." They definitely earned a new client.

Most of our pets have been Seniors, which means we have had to say goodbye to many. Dr. Spaulding is so kind and compassionate in that situation, creating a peaceful transition for us, as well as our pets. We wouldn’t go anywhere else.

Several days ago my terrier ingested rat poison. I Immediately took her to the animal hospital and Lawrenceburg who said they were too busy to treat her or provide medication to induce vomiting. I then contacted the animal hospital in Harrodsburg who told me to rush over to their location. Immediately upon arrival she was taken to the back and basically saved. Vomiting was induced which allowed her to throw up the poison. Had I waited another 15 minutes the damage would’ve been irreversible. This facility showed empathy and basically save the life of Milly. I can’t think them enough

I have been bringing my cats to Dr. Spaulding for years. He is a very caring and kind man. My problem was with one of his employees by the name of CARLA. I have since been told it was Lori that said what she said. All I know was that I was talking to CARLA. Now unless CARLA handed Lori the phone in mid-conversation without telling me I would have no idea.A couple of weeks ago one of my cats had a cyst removed from under his eye. We were told that the stitches would dissolve and there would be no follow up care. We were also told that if the area should start draining to notify them. Last week the area started draining a clear liquid and it looked like his eye was getting infected. I called as I had been told to do and talked to CARLA. I asked her if I was going to be charged for an office visit since this pertained to my cat’s surgery. She said I probably would be. I told her I spent over $200 for the surgery so, why would I be charged for an office visit when this pertained to the surgery. Her response was to cut me off, raise her voice and very rudely say, “Ms. Money, do you want the appointment or not?” This was totally uncalled for and very unprofessional.For this reason, I will no longer do business with Harrodsburg Animal Hospital. If CARLA can treat a human being the way she did me, I can’t help but wonder how she treats my pets behind my back.I suggest CARLA find a new line of work, and I suggest that Dr. Spaulding keep closer tabs on his employees at the front desk to see how they are treating peopleA. Oreo is now 13 years old. I have always taken her to Harrodsburg Animal Hospital. Oreo has enjoyed staying overnight, is always excited about walking through the door even if it means shots, teeth cleaning, grooming etc. She even had kidney stones removed at one point. The staff at Harrodsburg Animal Hospital is great. I thank you for all the good care.

Sorry, I hate leaving bad reviews but I can't recommend.. They were nice people, but operated from a deteriorating structure with cleanliness and odor issues. There always seems to be issue with having enough staff to man the front desk. Left me in the room restraining a panicked, growling, hissing cat - with two doors open - for several minutes. Came back and stood around us looking clueless and scared, and then wanted to remove biopsy stitches in said cat, still freaking out, while having me HOLD HIM IN THE AIR. Left without having stitches removed and went to different clinic. This was crazy. They seemed to really love animals, but just weren't prepared to run a professional clinic.
