I 100% DO NOT recommend buying anything from Feeders Supply my sister seriously bought these dog clippers at 3:00 today also still had the receipt. We got home seriously ran them down the dog TWICE and noticed they were doing absolutely nothing didn’t remove any hair whatsoever and then they just shut completely off. We brought them back to the store my sister went in first and the lady was rude just assumed she used them until they shut off, and then came back and said she took the clipper apart and they were filled with hair which is why they were broken when they didn’t even take hair off off the dog totally not true. And then my sister said “i bought them TODAY AT 3:00”They wouldn’t return or let her replace the item so I went in and talked to a lady ( well 2 because other rude lady kept putting her two cents into it) but anyways they sell items that do not work and won’t replace them so if you want anything I highly recommend shopping elsewhere!!! Won’t be back to this store at all!! Oh we did call the Danville feeders supply after leaving, they told us that wasn’t true that they SHOULD have replaced the item or returned the money. Danville was extremely nice and did return the money. ( the manager and assistant manager are both rude but the assistant a litter more so than the manager) don’t know the managers name but the assistant manager is sammy and she is seriously the rudest “manager “ I’ve ever been around!

I had a TERRIBLE experience with this store!! The employees were so rude they had me crying by the time I left! Long story short, I bought a pair of dog clippers to groom my dog, I get the clippers home and start grooming, I ran the clippers down my dog 2 times and then they just shut off so I thought maybe my outlet was bad so I switched to a different outlet and they still wouldn't come on. So I put everything back in the box and drive back up to feeders supply to try and return them since I literally only had the clippers for a couple of hours and the red headed girl was instantly rude with me and tells me they can not return them even though I had just bought them and the clippers were damaged! Will not EVER be back at this store again! I called Danville store and they said they would return them for them so thank you Danville store!!

Employees were very friendly and helpful. Store is well stocked with variety items and live animals. However, as soon as we walked into the store we were hit in the face by an awful odor that smelled like something had died. Visited the live fish section in the back and it was clear that their tanks are not well maintained at all. Numerous dead fish throughout several tanks with some being eaten by other fish. Front of the tanks were dirty. Store really needs to hire someone that is knowledgably and/or cares about maintaining their aquarium tanks.

I HAVE BAD KNEES/ AN BACK IT TAKES EVERY BIT TO GET TO THE DOOR, THERE USE TO BE A FOLDING CHAIR, BUT THE WORKERS TOLD ME YOU TOOK IT OUT BECAUSE EMPLOYEES WERE SITTING ON IT. WHEN IM IN DANVILLE GETTING THINGS AT PET SENCE AND HAVE BUSINESS ONCE A MONTH I WILL HAVE TO TAKE MY BUSINESS ELSE WHERE, IM SORRY BUT THE PAIN ISNT WORTH ALL THAT. I GAVE 2 STARS FOR FRIENDLY AND CLEAN. JUST ONE CHAIR TO SIT UP FRONT FOR CUSTOMERS AND WATCH BY CAMERAS AN LET THE EMPLOYEE KNOW ITS FOR CUSTOMERS ONLY ,AND JUST MAYBE I'LL CALL AN SEE IF THERES A CHAIR UP FRONT, AN I'LL BRING BUSINESS BACK AGAIN. THIS HERE SHOULD TELL YOU HOW BAD IT IS FOR ME. WHEN IM AT WALMART THEY WILL BRING ME A MOBILE CART, BUT UNDERSTAND THERES NO ROOM FOR THOSE AT YOUR STORE. HAVE A NICE DAY.GOD BLESS.

$14.99 to get my puppers washed and dried…whaaaatt? Too easy, they had 4 different types of shampoo and conditioners. As I was washing my 100lb pitty, one of the employees comes back and asks me if I needed more towels. I felt like I was at a spa for pups. Great customer service, it was clean and everything worked wonderfully. The air dryer was really good for getting him completely dry. Loved it, will be taking him here on the regular!

Great service. They carry a particular product my cat needs, and i like that i dont have to order from amazon. The web page, however, is not very user-friendly. It's easier to go in than order product from their website

Store is clean and most of the employees are very friendly and helpful. Then there's the apparent assistant manager Sammy. Extremely rude to employees (talking down to them etc) and very antisocial to customers. Huffs and puffs if has to help customers at register. Use to feel like the drive from Danville was worth it. Not anymore

I've never had a better experience at a pet store. To be exact, a girl worker -- I believe her name was Maggie -- allowed me to both inspect animals and ask specific questions about their habits. I have been shopping for guinea pigs for a birthday present, and the fact that they have such an expansive collection -- not to mention the workers have almost professional understandings of the animals and their needs -- has gone above and beyond my expectations of a pet store. Kudos to both the workers and the business!

I bought my rabbit a package of chew treat sticks and he hated wouldn't have any part of them. I made the trip from Danville to Harrodsburg to exchange them for something that he would like. The cashier and another employee were standing at the register and did not greet me when I came to the service desk told me to wait a minute then when I told them I would like to exchange the product they told me without a receipt or without a customer account that they couldn't help me. I never keep receipts especially for something such as that because who would have thought your rabbit wouldn't have enjoyed a treat stick. I won't be back to that store needless to say.

As someone who's a frequent patron of this establishment, I'm extremely saddened by the wave of recent negative reviews. I don't know what everyone means by the rats being abused. They aren't. As someone who actually has rats, I can tell that they're very well taken care of. (I've had pet rats since I was a child.) In fact, all of the animals are very well kept for. I've never had a problem with the service here. I've noticed everyone specifically call out a "girl with short hair," but I believe she's the most helpful employee here! (I believe we're thinking of the same person.) She's very welcoming and makes my trip better whenever I see her!

good store but one massive pet peeveMade a trip to this location for dog food first thing in the morning & they’re still closed at 10:00am (the store opens at 9am per the sign). I totally understand that stuff happens, but I wasted an hour waiting for them to open before I gave up. That’s an hour of fuel burnt and still no show. This is the only store in town with quality dog food. I had no choice but go buy dog food from Walmart 😕

Best pet place around the area, they have a wide selection of fish Friendly and knowledgeable staff. I've purchased several fish and animals from the store. The bad reviews on the store are from a former employee trying to give the place a bad reputation. The pictures were also taken by the employee, her hands are in the cage. If you'll look at the times/days these reviews were posted they're all from the same former employee and/or her friends. They are harassing employees at this business as well. Anyone with common sense can tell the same childish person is leaving 5 negative reviews a day. Grow up kid. You got fired. Get over it.

One of the times I went in there, I was looking for meal worms as rat treats, and a huge pile of stacked aquarium lids fell right on to my head.Animals are neglected and sick, horrible customer service, the girl with short hair at the register is always unfriendly and never talks when I check out. They sold three pregnant rats to me, my mom, and my friend, without telling us. And still did not separate the males from the females until there were no more female dumbos to be sold.My rat had 8 babies and my moms had 3, when the 3 were old enough we took them here only to find out what was happening and then we immediately went and got two of the babies back. And I have had to find another pet store (that doesn’t mistreat their animals) to take in my rats babies.

there is almost 40+ mice in a small little cage and they don’t even clean the caged properly or regularly the blonde and short haired worker talked the whole time i was trying to check out i ended up just leaving my stuff and walking out this place is not worth it. A bag of dog food is 97 dollars and the condition the animals are left in is disgusting their fish have mites and so do their snakes yet they still sell them it’s terrible i even thought about applying to work there then i saw the conditions the animals are left in and the worker are rude i will never go back.

I can always count on them having the dog and cat food I need. Plus they carry this amazing spray that kills fleas and eggs. It's a little expensive. 24.99. But it works and I am relieved I don't have to pay a lot at the vetFlea meds there are over 100.00 dollars.

My heart dropped when I went to the rat cage. There are so many in such a small space, causing the rats to become stressed and fight each other. Their tails are covered in bite marks and the cage is splattered with blood everywhere. The rats are lethargic and seem to be sad. They need at least double the amount of space that they are currently given. Thoroughly disappointed in this place as it claims to offer helpful advice about owning pets when they can’t seem to care for the ones they sell to customers.

Always find what I need at this store. Great staff, super helpful. Only one time have I visited this store and was not pleased w the service but I have noticed this employee is no longer there! So happy to have feeders in our town!

In response to the five star review most recently left, I want to say I am disgusted by your ignorance. Regardless of whatever former employee took the photos, it is still animal neglect and goes against the documents they signed and agreed to with PETA. There is literal documentation showing that the one star reviews are at least somewhat accurate regarding the way these animals are treated.

Let’s not just let the animals chew on each other!!! This place is cruel and I haven’t even been here!!!! Take some responsibility!! If you’re going to choose to work with animals treat them like your own children, this is disgusting on the employees and managers part! Unbelievably embarrassing that you can be working with animals you can’t/won’t/don’t know how to take care of. This place needs shut down!

They have lots of animals I like. They have lots of large tanks that you can keep your animals in. Whatever food you give your pet I'm sure they will have it.
