It’s always pretty busy. Which I know some people find annoying but to me is more a sign of a good store, more people shopping there. The staff is always help and very friendly. The florist does great work and the deli is pretty good too! The prices can be a little high on some things but the store over all is very good. Well maintained and clean too.

Great shopping experience. Clean store and friendly staff. I Always look forward to stopping in. I like to visit and do my studies with their Guest Wifi. My favorite part is seeing the wildlife outside. Great location.

Great store love there deals especially when they do the 12 for 10.Can't say much tho on the deli haven't had good reactions from them. When I stopped by for a quick lunch or simply question a worker from that very department got flat out rude and started coughing on the food. I lwalked off finished my shopping and left immediately. Store is great ..deli needs to get a few new workers

I have liked Food City grocery store since it come to our little town. They are a little more expensive than the stores we have here but I feel like the meat has a better Quality than what we was use to. But I also like the sells that they have. I hope we keep this place for a long time to come. Usually most stores seem to go out of business to soon for my liking.

Clean store and the staff is always soo friendly, I always stop in if I need to run in the store while I’m in Harlan. Sometimes it is busy but the wait isn’t more than a few minutes

Terrible. You go in, ask specifically the hours of the deli and salad bar only to return 90 min before shutdown to find it all gone. This typically is a sign of poor management and disorganization which makes me question other areas ie, meat dept etc. If I can't count on your verbally listed hours told personally to me then I'll shop elsewhere.

Love grocery shopping at food city.! They have 95 % of what I want.! A bit more $$ but having a deli, I'm partial to their milk too.. and their selection of meat.. oh yes big fan of the produce dept.. fresh grapes, watermelon & anything else that catches the eyes into my stomach.! Lol

The inside is clean and we'll staffed. I've never had any problems with any employee. Most importantly to me they have the most variety of any grocery store in this county. No where else am I going to find mochi ice cream or Indian cuisine choices. Their deli, bakery and fish station is well kept and also has a wide selection. This is my favorite grocery store to go to. Their value card is well worth it.

I have always had a good experience shopping here. I'd recommend anyone to shop here but the only bad thing that I can say about Food City is that they are quiet a bit more expensive than other grocery stores in the area BUT THEY MAKE UP FOR IT WITH THE QUALITY OF THEIR MEAT AND PRODUCE AND EVERYTHING ELSE. The employees are always nice and courteous and willing to help you with anything that you may need help with.

The absolute best grocery in and around Harlan, Ky hands down. No other has the amount of options, great sales, and awesome rewards. LOVE acquiring fuel bucks!! Recently on my last visit I had enough fuelponts to get $0.45 off per gallon of gas. Another thing I love is loading coupons onto the value card, so beneficial!! They have a wide range of produce, cheeses, and meats. They can have wonderful sales also. But, their prices are pretty high when stuff isn't on sale. Also, the manager there is very judgmental, rude, and disrespectful. She is an older blonde lady who has been so rude to me about 6 or 7 times when just asking where things were or when I would just go through a checkout and ask her to bags things a certain way as to not crush my groceries. when I would use the bathroom there when I was pregnant she said the bathroom was just cleaned and acting as if I couldn't go in there even though I was a paying customer just because I have piercing and tattoos! Who ever her supervisor is needs to talk to her about her attitude! But the rest of the staff there is wonderful, and the pharmacy there is amazing and the pharmacy staff are excellent and very helpful.

Always easy to shop here. They have the kid carts, so if you have kids its alot easier here. The prices can be higher on some stuff but if you have a value card you can save a ton of money and get rewards for gas visit which takes 15 cents off the gallon and it doubles on Wednesdays.

Food City has a great selection of every category of food items from fresh produce, meats, fish and frozen items. The store is logically laid out with aisle spacing and items within easy reach. Food city also has a pharmacy that covers most over the counter items typically needed by families.

Most of the time it is great. Cashier named Hope would wait on everybody but me in self service check out. Several people finished their orders and I was there first before she would clear a item for me. Every item I scanned would mess up.

I used to work here years ago, it is a very good place to work!!! They have specialty foods no other grocery store in Harlan has!!! They also have larger sections of brands than other stores so you may find something made by a brand you didn't even know they offered!!!

I would have given them a 10, however I asked for regular buffalo wings and I got the hot wings. On Saturday I was going to add more wings to my order they said they were not adding to or taking anymore orders. Glad I had another business to make an order for me and they were what I wanted.

This is hands down my favorite supermarket in my home town. Couponing is easy and they have an app for their value card (which i highly recommend getting, just for the fuel perks - 1 point per dollar, 100 points is $.15 off a gallon of gas.) They also have self checkout which is really great if you are in a rush. They have a meat counter to get fresh meat and the people who work in the meat counter are really great. I did not get her name but the woman who is in charge of the fish was very knowledgeable and could answer any question she was asked. The person who is in charge of the deli is excellent too. Great staff really make the expierence a 10/10
